Danger Zone Chapter 41

The ride from the tiny forest to the Swiss Alps that surrounded by friendly youngster and drunkard oldies. Jasmine looks out of the window pane of the car as it passes the busy road of Jaxil Ville.
She looks at the streets and at the different shops that surrounds the area before looking out at the open parks and playground where children play.
"What is the history of this place?"
It's a common question but she knows that there is something sinister about this place. She looks over to the driver side and frowns.
"Answer me."
The driver chuckles before stopping the car at an abandoned building near an Asian market.
"Jaxil Ville is one of the busiest towns in Swiss Alps. The trade in this area could be traced to the main city of Geneva.
The largest human populations here are Asians. Due to the fact that it is a Chinese descent that discovered this place.
The reason why I didn't answer earlier was because there were people watching us. According to some tourists, the people in this area can speak different languages based on the people who are stranded in this area.
It's like a big China town located only here in the Alps. The leader of this place is named Grandma Feng. She is the one who taught the people on how to speak different languages so they could communicate with foreigners."
Jasmine hums while she listens to the driver's story. She looks out of the window pane again in hopes that she would spot Grandma Feng among the people in the streets.
The driver looks at the center mirror and chuckles lowly.
"Miss Jasmine, if you're looking for Grandma Feng, she's is not here now. I found out that she also knew your father so she thought of visiting him at the hospital after hearing what had happened to him.

She also offered to help your father hide you and your brother in China but your father did not agree because the leader of the Santoros had many connections there and they might chase you immediately."
Jasmine nods at the driver, frowning that she won't be able to see Grandma Feng before she leaves the country.
A strong woman like her is something she idolizes even from birth.
"I really want to meet her before leaving this country."
The driver smiles to himself before nodding in agreement. In his mind, he knows that Jasmine will be smiling from ear to ear upon leaving this country.
He happens to overhear the conversation between his Master and Grandma Feng talking about what the Santoro had done and the promise of seeing Jasmine off of the country.
He starts the car again and drives past the town and into the bewilderness of the Alps. Just underneath of the fallen rocks is a small mansion, filled with green vines and flowers.
"Who's house is this?"
The driver only shrugs his shoulder and walks to where Jasmine is. He opens the door and waits for Jasmine to come out from it.
He bows to her even if he didn't earlier, just to show respect to the Headmaster of the Matautia clan watchdog.
He looks to the side where the loosen curtain window is located and smirks. He knows that someone is watching and peeking outside just to see what Jasmine looks like.
"Welcome to Li Xian Feng's mansion, Miss Jasmine."
When Jasmine hears the name Feng, she looks at the driver with a smile on her face. She is so happy that there is a possibility that she would meet the woman behind the discovery of Jaxil Ville.
She is so excited to meet her.

She nods at the driver and helps him to get her bags from the trunk of the car before entering the small mansion. She looks around the small entrance of the place and smiles to herself.
The mansion is as big as their horse stable but much prettier that the rusty old horse garage. It's cleaner that her room back at her house in the Philippines and much more spacious than their car garage.
"This way, Miss."
The driver speaks as Jasmine only nods at him. With enthusiasm of learning who is Grandma Feng, Jasmine wishes if she could roam around the place before leaving tomorrow morning.
"Can I look around the area?"
The driver looks at and nods his head.
"Of course, Miss. Grandma Feng allows you to roam around the place before escaping the country by tomorrow."
She smiles at him and asks him if he could go with her. He nods at her and walks behind her as she leads the way back to the small city area of the Village and starts to look around.
They goes from stores to stores, parks to the playgrounds, markets to some other stalls before sitting down in one of the swings of the park that they visited from earlier.
Jasmine looks as satisfied as she is as they both watch the sun goes down over the horizon. The park is near the sea so it is the perfect place to the beautiful sunset.
The driver looks at Jasmine before looking at the one direction where his real mission starts. His mission is to show and prove to Grandma Feng that Jasmine is not just a pretty girl.
She is also someone that is deserves to be called as the young Head Master of the Matautia Clan.
He looks away and makes sure that Jasmine will notice his plan and attacks him. It's not a kink but it is the only way he knows how to prove to the old Chinese woman that Jasmine is worth the time.
"What a beautiful sunset, isn't it?"
The driver clears his throat and nods at Jasmine's statement. He looks at the sunset, unknown at the sudden plan that Jasmine has in her mind.
"You know, when I first saw where we are going earlier… I already notified my friends about my location."
Tiny fickle of sweat drops from his forehead to his chin and down to his collar. Jasmine looks at him with her dark and piercing eyes.
He feels scared but his mission needs to go on.
"I am not a perfect person so I still commit any sins known to man. But there is this one sin that I usually do. Do you know what it is?"
The driver shakes his head and notices something sharp that is on her hand. She follows the way his eyes look at the knife and smiles.
"Oh, would you look at that? My friend had risen from his grave and is ready to attack and pierces straight to your soul. Want to be his first victim?"
The driver immediately scrambles to his feet and runs away from her. Screaming at the top of his lungs as he yells the name "Monster".
She chuckles at his reaction as she looks to her side and smiles.
"You can come out now. I won't bite."

This must be in the hidden gems collection " -3ndlesslove"This was, by far, the best one I've read. It just resonated with me when it came to Noah's POV. It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
