"Hey, wait!"

Primo stomps down to the apartment and into the large tree near the apartment. He sighs as he pushes Daime towards the shade of the tree.

"What's wrong with you?"

Primo clicks his tongue, making Daime shuts his mouth and looks at his cousin in a different angle. He doesn't look mad, Daime admits that. But he doesn't look happy either.

Whatever is bothering him, Daime just hopes that it is not something serious.

"Listen, I am not good with words and never will be. But I know that you are hesitating to go against me for winning Aiden's heart. Don't."

Daime is shock that Primo giving him a pep talk about this challenge that he took when Primo asked him to go against Daime as they fight for Aiden's heart.

He didn't know how observant Primo is and every single time he does such a thing, it amazes Daime so much.

"We did agree to fight for him and go against each other for the sake of taking Aiden's heart, but you are still my cousin. We are a family."

Daime's heart is melting as he listens to Primo's words of encouragement to continue the fight until the day that Aiden had to choose between the two of them. Daime can do it.

Yes, he can.

But going against Primo is something he would never expect in his whole life. His other cousins even warn him about Primo and his ways but he never listens to them because he wants Aiden for himself.

"Or we can share."

Daime's thoughts halt in his mind as he stares at Primo is surprise. He can't believe it. He can't believe that Primo can suggest something that is both absurd and stupid.

He looks at him as if he is joking but unfortunately, Primo looks really serious about his suggestion. Daime clears his throat, removing all the lumps stuck in his trachea and looks at Primo.

He inhales a heavy sigh before speaking his thoughts to Primo.

"I don't know if you are joking or not but are you crazy?"

He doesn't know when or how but his accent is slipping out. He can't believe that Primo is suggesting something that could make or break the relationship itself.

He wants to know if Primo is not kidding about this proposal of his. They don't even know if Aiden would agree with them. It was happening too fast.

"I am pretty sure that my mind doesn't have any impact from the fight earlier."

Daime sighs and he knows that there is nothing can stop Primo from getting what he wanted now. Even if their grandmother would come to this country, Primo will still get what he wants.

"Okay. I will come to your terms, only if Aiden would agree."

Primo smirks dangerously and reassures Daime that Aiden would agree to this. They went back to the apartment were Aiden is waiting for them by the couch, bouncing his right leg up and down.

The front door opens and Aiden immediately stands up as he looks at the two who are entering the apartment with smiles on their faces.

Aiden thinks that something is really going on between the two of them and he wants to help them in any way possible. But seeing them laughing now, he knows that everything is okay and sorted out.

He sighs in relief and greets them as he shows the two cousins his signature sweet and luscious smile. Daime smiles back but Primo didn't.

They walk towards the kitchen and eat Daime's food while talking about their day and Aiden asking Primo to teach him the lessons that he had missed.

"I have something to talk to you about, too. I hope you would be ready."

Aiden could only nod at the guy and proceeds to keep eating his food quietly. Daime sighs at his cousin and speaks in Swiss language, something that Primo can only understand.

*You could've told him that sweetly.*

Primo looks at him as Daime rolls his eyes at Primo.

*Sweet? Do I look like the guy that can do sweet things?*

Daime stares at him with a blank expression before taking his plate and taking it to the sink. Aiden brings his over and Daime smiles as he accepts that.

*Also, smile more often. It could work since you are charming as you are.*

"Shut up. You're not my mom."

Daime flinches by the sudden change in Primo's tone. He looks at his cousin as he walks towards his bag and pulls out his Toxicology book before opening it to the page where Aiden missed his lectures.

"I am sorry about him. His attitude reflects grandmama's attitude since she had been the one who raised him after the adoption. But we still don't know what age he was adopted.

He just came back home when he was eighteen years of age and well, bulkier than all of us combine. Grandmama was happy at that time. She was happy that Primo is finally home.

While our other cousins don't want him to be back home, to be honest. I still don't know why they hate him so much but Primo is kind of cool, plus Drax and I had never experienced famine whenever we are with him.

He is pretty reliable."

Aiden listens to every word coming from Daime's mouth. He never knew Primo is such a good cousin to Daime and Drax. It made Aiden smiles to big that he is almost smirking.

Primo never shows much emotion to other people before. He is trained to so. He could still remember the first time that he met one of the Santoro children who used to work under Old Witch's supervision.

"Welcome to Switzerland, young master."

Primo, a ten years old kid, was adopted by the Santoro family after forcing his brother to marry Sandra Santoro. The young child was sitting at the backseat of the limousine while looking at the outside surroundings.

"When can I go home?"

The driver, Silvia, looks at the center mirror of the vehicle and looked at the child before looking back to the road. Taking a turn from a corner, making their path a bit longer so he could answer any of the child's questions.

"I am sorry, young master. But I didn't know that your brother didn't say anything to you."

Primo looked at the center mirror. Silvia felt shivers up to his spine when his eyes met with Primo's piercing ocean blue eyes.

He never thought that such eyes could hold a lot of anger and pain. But the child was too composed to even see whether he is suffering or not.

Silvia clears his throat and smiles at the child. Primo didn't smile back but he turned back to the surroundings on the outside of the car.

"I don't know and care what you mean. I will be back home after 2 months."

Silvia could only nod at this point. He doesn't want to argue with the child and leave such a bad impression to him or he would not have a job later.

He immediately drives away, calculating the hours it would take to get back to the Santoro mansion. Primo watched him driver the car as his mind processed and memorizing every route that they are taking from the airport to the mansion.

Spirit of the wood.

He had already seen the name of the driver and smiled for what the name means. He had never seen a guy under that name in European countries. Names in this part of the world would usually be John or James, for a guy.

But Silvia, such a beautiful name.

They arrived at the mansion after thirty minutes of driving and memorizing the routes that the child need to take if he would want to go back to Russia.

He had seen his brother at the front porch of the mansion, standing beside him is his wife, Sandra. She was smiling from ear to ear as they wait for Primo to climb down the car.

Silvia opened the door for him but he got down from the other side of the car. He walks slowly towards the other end of the car, avoiding Sandra's welcome at all cost possible.

Grandmama, the head of the Santoro house, welcomed Primo with a hug which he avoided as well. Grandmama looked at him with displeasure which only he retorts with a disgust face.

"Don't touch me. I'm dirty."

Filthy and malicious, those were the things he was trying to say. But for Grandmama, he meant something else. She smiled from ear to ear and asked the maids to prepare Primo his bath.

Primo rolled his eyes which Alex saw. He nudged his brother to the side and Primo only glared at him.

Primo was about to go with the maid when Grandmama pulled him aside and asked him about Silvia. Primo looked at him and smiled.

"He's a safe driver."

***

Silvia… he was his first friend in the Santoro mansion. He was always there when he needs him and when he is so lonely when his brother is always away with his gold digger wife.

Silvia is also there comforting him when he witnesses how broke his brother is when that bitch of a woman stole everything from him.

He misses Silvia, a lot. But he knows that the latter is in a good place. He is safe and already living a good life, away from the stressful world of the Santoro.
