Aiden is with Cassie when he realizes that they are running for unknown reason. Aiden stops as Cassie bumps into his back and groans at Aiden.

"What the heck?! Why did you stop?"

Aiden looks at Cassie with a confused look before looking around his surroundings as he leans on Cassie to whisper.

"Why are we running away like some headless chickens?"

Cassie frowns at him before sighing. She can feel a headache coming out of nowhere, ready to give her head an impact of a lifetime.

"We are running because you got scared of Daime Santoro while he is looking at you as if you are a prey."

Aiden opens his mouth like a fish, trying to retort Cassie's reasoning. But there's nothing coming out from his mouth, making him close it before he could say something that might give him some trouble.

"Fine."

Aiden sighs before sitting down to one of the stool in front of the large gymnasium that the university have. He exhales a heavy sigh as he pats the space beside him, making Cassie sits down beside him.

"Have you talked to my sister?"

Cassie stares at Aiden before shaking her head.

"The last time I talked to her was six months ago."

Aiden nods and sighs for the umpteenth time as he looks at the vast space filled with passing students as they smile and laugh about something.

It is at this moment when Aiden realizes how grateful he is that his father lets him explore the hidden gems of this country.

The smiles that never get tired, the generosity that flows from person to person, the kindness that is spread from the youngest to the oldest, it makes Aiden wonder is there that this country could offer.

Cassie looks at Aiden with a question in her mind. [What's on his mind?] She nudges Aiden as the latter looks at her with a blink of an eye.

"What are you thinking?"

Aiden sighs and smiles at her.

"I was just thinking about the past. You know, mom and dad. Well, mostly dad."

Cassie nods in understanding as she realizes that Aiden is still that person. The one that they left in Switzerland. The heir of the Matautia Clan.

She smiles to the sky when she remembers that this is not the first time that Aiden ever fall in love.

"Hey, this is not the first time someone chased you, right?"

Aiden looks at Cassie in wonder. He starts thinking about the time he was chased by someone but he can't remember when. But then, he realized Cassie asked the wrong question.

"You mean when I confessed at someone after finding out their plan of destroying my family?"

Cassie looks at him before nodding in return. Aiden chuckles at the memory as his mind floods his head with the confession.

"It was Aries, right? The butler?"

Aiden nods in response as he sits down comfortably beside Cassie and faces the woman with a smile on his face.

"Want me to tell you the whole story?"

Cassie nods and leans back on her chair and waits for Aiden to start.

"The thing is…"

"Young master! Please, wait for me!"

Loud giggles from a young boy are being heard all throughout the mansion's humongous and wide garden filled with different colored flowerbeds and figures such as horses, elves, and birds.

The mansion is in the middle of it all, standing gracefully with its wide pillars that support the structures and its strong and firm wall that protects the whole family from troubles.

The boy's butler, wearing his black and white suit, is panting and huffing loudly as he has been running behind the boy ever since the early morning in the lands of Switzerland.

He has been running to catch the boy for almost thirty minutes now. The other maids are already calling them for breakfast since his other family members have already been awake.

They are all waiting for him to enter the mansion.

"Young master, please! Stop running! You need to eat your breakfast already! Your mother has been calling for you!"

The butler tries his best to keep up with the twelve years old boy but the latter just runs faster than before, making the butler huffs and puffs cold air, his sweat drips down his face down to his chin.

He looks far beyond the border of the garden and spots that the boy had stopped running and is only looking at the vast lake. The butler came over in his direction and bends down to his knee.

The butler heaves a heavy sigh before puffing it out to oblivion.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"

The butler stops from whatever is doing when he heard the young boy's words. He had never heard the young master so serious before. For the young boy, everything is just fun and games.

The butler clears his throat and fixes his uniform before answering the boy with a "hm". The boy looks closely at the vast lake and the mountains that surround it, breathing the cold winter air of Switzerland.

It's a magnificent sight. The young boy usually looks at this scenery from the balcony of his room but he could only appreciate its beauty when he sees it up-close.

The butler looks back to the house and sees that the boy's parents are already on the front porch, waiting for them to come back. The butler gulps and clears his throat, asking for the boy's attention.

Fortunately, it works on the boy. The moment he turns, the butler whispers to him that they need to go back now or he would be scolded by his parents.

The little boy giggles once again before stepping away from the grills of the borders and running away from the butler. The butler takes a breather before running to catch the boy once again.

Minutes upon minutes, the boy arrives in front of them, with a smile on his face and a dying butler behind him. The maid screams when the butler suddenly flops down to the ground due to exhaustion.

The boy's father looks at him with a stern face before showing up a smile. The boy looks at the butler before looking back at his mother, his biggest mistake.

The boy's father looks at him with a stern face before showing up a smile. The boy looks at the butler before looking back at his mother, his biggest mistake.

His mother pulls him by the ear and away from the front porch and to the living room of the mansion. Facing the wall while his mother is nagging him about his misbehavior to the butler.

"Did you see how he falls down to the ground due to exhaustion? How many times did this happen, Aiden?! Are you not worried that he could die with what you are doing to him every single morning?!"

The young boy, who is named Aiden, bits his lower lip and stares at the wall on the verge of crying. His mother scoffs telling him that his tears won't heal the exhaustion of the butler.

"What if he dies while chasing you?! What could you do?!"

Aiden searches his brain for an answer but nothing came. In doubt and in worry, he decides to visit the butler after his punishment from his mother.

He is curious about his well-being after the fall. They've done this many times before but he never saw the butler collapse like that.

He felt guilty and responsible for his exhaustion.

After his punishment, Aiden searches for the butler. From the stable to the gardener's ward, Aiden looks for him.

"Aries!"

Aiden smiles when he sees his favorite butler. His handsome face shining through the darkest clouds but Aiden knows that it all for a show.

Aiden had already seen how frightening this butler is and this plan of him will surely not fail and his father would soon recognize how dreadful the woman he married is.

"Young master, what are you doing here?"

Aiden stares uncomfortably to the butler who looks away from him. The butler clears his throat and clasps his hands. But before he could speak, Aiden puts his tiny hands on his cheeks.

With a smile on his face, he declares his love for the butler.
