Danger Zone Chapter 9

Daime walks as fast as he can to reach the café at the time where he could choose which seat is the perfect to properly watch the angel that he wants to see and feel.
He enters the coffee shop as the employees welcome Daime with a smile. He greets them with a wave of his hand since they can't see his smile because of the mask that he is wearing.
The air from the outside is too toxic for his lungs, hence, his doctor ask him to wear masks whenever he goes out. Daime just follows through since his parents told him to follow the doctor.
He goes to the counter and looks around the coffees that the shop offers. Since he is not as adventurous as their other cousin, Drax, he just chooses to have a frappe caramel and a blueberry cream cheesecake.
The cashier lady is too mesmerized by how beautiful Daime's eyes are that the latter needs to call her name multiple times as she blinks away with a little blush on her cheeks.
Upon seeing her reaction, Daime already knows why she is being like that.
'It's because of my eyes.'
It has always been his eyes. Those round silver colored orbs that he has ever since he was born. They are something that he treasures while Primo has his ocean blue eyes and Drax has his emerald green eyes.
His are as silver as the newly found silver iron in the mine. No rust, and pure. He waits for his change before looking for the perfect place to sit down.
Somewhere that is not that secluded but a perfect corner where he can spy around the angel that he has been looking for.
Moments pass by, his order is done and the cashier lady rings the bell for the service to arrive. Daime waits for his order but almost had a heart attack when he sees who is going to serve him his order.
"Service!"
Aiden is waiting for his turn to serve their customers as he watches everyone having a good time drinking their coffee. He is cleaning some of the tables when the cashier lady calls out his name.

He quickly went to the counter and picks up the food that the customer had ordered. He checks the name of the customer from the plastic cup and yells it to find where the customer is seated.
"Extra-large cup of frappe caramel and a blueberry cheesecake for Mr. Sylvystre!"
Daime blinks and raises his hand for Aiden to see. When Aiden sees the hand raised, he quickly went to Daime's location and carefully places the tray of food in front of him.
Aiden places three napkins in front of Daime before placing the cup of frappe caramel. Then, he places the cheesecake near the frappe before bowing his head and walking away.
Daime is stun. He can't believe that his angel just served him with respect and nothing more. He is also confused as to why Aiden doesn't seem to recognize him.
He stirs his frappe until the whipped cream dissolves into the shake itself before sipping through the straw and tasting the first shot of caramel in his mouth.
It is a magnificent taste.
Daime shows off a genuine smile as he sips his drink more. It is that delicious. He tastes the cake next. As the fork passes through the first layer of the cake, Daime can see how moist it is.
It is not as dense as the other cakes that he tasted from other cafés before. This blueberry cheesecake from this shop is as moist as the soil after a heavy rainfall from the south.
It holds its formation giving a nice sensation in the mouth while the soil that holds its formation becomes dense from time to time, this cake is different.
Whoever bakes this shop's cakes is one hell of a patisserie. He or she knows what the people love and will deliver to them with hard work and patience.
Daime smiles as he enjoys his time at the coffee shop and watching his angel serves more people as the people fully occupied the chairs of the coffee shop.
Daime sees Aiden going to the staff room, making him look at his wrist watch and his eyes widen in surprise. Oh, how time passes when he is having such a good time.

Daime scrambles to his feet and goes to the door but he stops when he realizes that he can talk to Aiden now that he will be going back to his dormitory.
"But that will be a bit of a creep. He will not agree with me."
As Daime thinks of a proper way to ask Aiden if he can bring him home, Aiden comes out of the door and collides with Daime's back.
"Hey!"
Daime flinches and turns around only to see Aiden with a scrunched up nose and glaring eyes.
"What are you doing standing here like an idiot? Move out of the way, please!"
Before Daime could react, Aiden passes by him and stomps his way to the footbridge while Daime walks not so far behind him, making sure that Aiden is okay.
Aiden can feel Daime's presence from behind him, making Aiden to walk a little bit faster, hoping that he lose him on the next exit.
But fate is not on his side because Daime is still walking behind Aiden. The latter stops, making Daime stops as well.
Aiden faces the giant with a frown on his face.
"Who are you and why are you following me?"
Daime looks at him with an innocent face before looking at his feet. He never thought that his angel will never feel his presence.
He knows that he never have an intention to hide his presence but he never knew his angel will be this wary.
Aiden stares at the unknown man in front of him as he slowly backs away after looking around the neighborhood.
Daime hears the silent scrapes of soles against the pavement, making him look at Aiden with his tantalizing silver eyes.
He smiles at him but Aiden can't seem to remember him because the light coming from the lamppost is not bright enough to illuminate his face.
"It seems like you already forgot me."
The man's voice sends shivers up to Aiden's spine, making Aiden stares at his eyes for so long until he recognize who they belong.
"Daime?"
Daime feels like his heart falters when Aiden says his name in his sweet curious voice. It made Daime smile a little bit more as he stares at Aiden's shocked face.
"Indeed, it's me."
Aiden gasps and stares at the man who is moving closer to him until they are just a meter apart from each other.
"What are you doing here? Why are you following me?"
Daime sighs as he tries to answer Aiden's questions without stuttering or getting nervous.
"I saw your picture sent on the discord chat and decided to visit your café. The food is great and the serving is friendly."
Aiden blushes when he hears a slight hint of lewdness in Daime's voice when he emphasizes the word "service".
"I followed you because I heard that this neighborhood is dangerous at night so I just want to make sure that you are safe."
Aiden blushes profusely when he hears Daime's reason of following him. He doesn't know what the man wants from him but he will remember this sweet gesture.
He looks at his left side and sees Cassie already waiting for him near the gates. She is looking at her phone while scrolling through hundreds of feeds on File book.
"Well, thank you for that. Even though we just met, the small gesture of making sure that I am safe is really sweet."
Aiden bows to Daime before entering the gated dormitory and bids his farewell to him. Daime waves him goodbye before walking away.
His smile didn't falter and he knows that he did something that even his cousin can't pull-off.
