Danger Zone Chapter 2

Aiden runs for his life while Cassie runs beside him. Their class will begin in fifteen minutes and their dormitory is thirty minutes away from the university gates.
"If you only stop dreaming about that blue eyed prince of yours, we would not run like this!"
Cassie is giving Aiden an earful as they run from the gates to their classroom, dodging all of the weird glances from the other students as they sprints for their life.
They have Science as today's lesson, and knowing their professor in Science, punctuality is one of her criteria to pass her subject.
If they arrived there late again, it would be deducted to their grades, making it impossible for them to pass Science.
They were nearing their classroom when Aiden bumps into someone, making him falls to his ass and for Cassie to stop to help her friend.
They apologize to the man and enter their class. Most of the students look at the huffing duo with smiles on their faces.
Aiden looks upfront and releases a relief sigh. Their professor is not yet there. They are not late. They are safe from getting a deducted grade.
Aiden and Cassie sit to their chairs that locate to the farthest back of the classroom. Aiden grabs his water bottle and drinks the whole bottle, not caring of the snickering laughter from their fellow classmates.
It is like this every Wednesday. Aiden wakes up late from the re-occurring dream of meeting his blue eyed prince after a harsh break up, and runs from their dormitory to their classroom.
Cassie wipes down her sweat before giving Aiden an extra handkerchief as he wipes for his own.
"Next time, fucking wake up when I told you so."
Aiden could only nod to his friend because an argument will not save anything but another trip to the dean's office. Aiden knows that he needs to stop making trouble with Cassie and focus with his studies.

But the latter can't help but cause trouble when he knows that this is the only way for his sister to stop treating him like a baby and protects him like a mother hen.
He thought that when he arrives to the Philippines, his family will let him out of the cage that they built ever since he was a child. He sighs as he tries to focus on the lecture in front of him before their professor calls him out for spacing out again.
Cassie looks at Aiden's direction as the latter twirls his pen with his finger as he stares at the professor upfront.
"Don't forget about your group assignments! The deadline will be next Wednesday."
The class ends with nothing but more assignments and some projects for the whole semester. The projects are nothing but research about certain topics that the professor chooses per student.
Of course for Aiden, the professor gives him a very hard one, making him hates the professor even more. Cassie sighs as he nudges Aiden, who is making a scary face towards the professor.
"Dude, just accept the project. There is nothing you can do about it anyway."
Aiden sighs and thanks the professor with a forced smile, making the professor irks on her seat and looks away from the latter.
"I swear to God. I will make her ass pay for this kind of treatment!"
Cassie could only shakes her head before dragging Aiden out of their classroom and onto the cafeteria to buy their lunch before they run out of food choices again.
"Did you have yours?"
Aiden nods at Cassie's question and they both proceed to the gymnasium to eat since there are no seats available at the cafeteria and the gymnasium personnel let them eat inside anyway.

They enter the gymnasium while carrying their food and look for a place to sit as they watch the boys play their game while eating and talking about the latest gossip.
"Is it really Princess?"
Cassie looks at Aiden as she nods while Aiden gasps with a funny expression plasters to his face.
"Oh my god! I feel bad for the guy. She is a total player! What a bitch!"
Cassie agrees with Aiden, who eats his meat with vigor. He looks like he hasn't been eating for a month. She shakes her head as she eats her portion.
The gymnasium is noisy around this hour since most of the students stay here to eat and watch some random guys play basketball.
Aiden stops eating when he notices someone familiar in the crowd. His eyes widen in surprise when he notices that the guy has the similar feature as the man he usually dreams of.
His mind stops as he grabs at the hem of Cassie's shirt and grabs it tightly, making Cassie looks at him with a confused expression.
"Aiden, what's wrong?"
Aiden visibly gulps as he shakily points at the guy who is taller than the crowd that surrounds him.
Cassie looks at the direction that Aiden is pointing and tilts her head with confusion.
"Why are you pointing at Primo Santoro?"
Aiden looks at Cassie with a shocked expression. "How do you know him?" Cassie stares at him before answering, making Aiden question his existence.
"Everybody knows Primo Santoro."
Aiden shakes his head because he doesn't actually know him. This is the first time he had seen Primo as well. Except when he is sleeping and dreaming for his blue eyes prince.
"Primo Santoro is the epitome of all young man around his age; hot, proud, and tall. He is like the most popular guy in the university and I am kind of shocked that you don't know him."
Aiden looks at her with a betrayed-like expression before rolling his eyes as he stares back at Primo, who he caught staring back at him.
Just like in his dream, his muddy brown eyes meet the intriguing ocean blue eyes. His mind stops and his heart start to beat fast as if he runs a non-stop triathlon.
Brimming through the endless pit of Aiden's soul, the guy's stare pierces into him, targeting his heart and making regret that he looked.
"Cassie, let's get out of here."
Cassie looks at his friend with a scared expression then nods. She doesn't need to ask why because she already has an idea why.
They immediately pack their things up and run to the door. Aiden accidentally bumps into someone again as they rush to get out of the gymnasium.
"Oops, sorry. Are you okay?"
Aiden looks up and is mesmerized by the most beautiful eyes he just laid upon. Far more beautiful that the ocean blue eyes that a certain Primo Santoro has.
