I Can Farm Attributes From Ghosts! Chapter 33

Apart from some basic augmentation, the most important thing about the Guardian this time was that it had been rewarded with a special skill. It had also activated the long-awaited Ghost Mall.
The strange state just now was brought about by that new skill.
Note: Undying body, special skill. The host has received a certain degree of damage immunity. The recovery ability of the body has increased to ten times that of an ordinary person.
After seeing the skill information of the Undying Body, Bryan's began to smile.
The moment he was injured, he received such a practical skill. It was like a dry land suddenly welcoming rain. What a timely rain!
Without hesitation, Brian upgraded his Undying Body skill to Advanced level.
"Beep! Undying body upgraded to advanced level. Recovery ability and immunity increased by 30 times. 500 attribute points required!"
This time, he was rewarded with a lot of attribute points. It was the perfect opportunity for him to test the effect of the Undying Body!
The upgrade notification sounded!
Brian felt comfortable all over. The slight pain that he felt after the anesthesia subsided disappeared without a trace.
He removed the gauze and took a look.
Oh my goodness, the wound was healing at a visible rate. It had already turned into a small black dot.
Ten seconds later, he looked again.
There were no more wounds and his skin was as smooth as before.
Gulp!
"Hahaha! Even Deadpool's recovery ability is similar to this!"
Deadpool, the undying hero known in the Blue Planet, was famous for his terrifying regenerative ability and undying body.
Brian thought of the classic line— 'You can never kill me, but I can easily crush your balls!'
Thinking about it made him feel very cool!
Although he had yet to reach the stage of true immortality, he could already foresee that day.
…
In the largest commercial building in Gro City, in a luxurious office, the calm before the storm arrived.
Due to a problem with a certain production segment in the factory, Old Bu's expression was very serious.
Although he did not say anything, the people on the other side of the conference video felt an intense pressure.

On the other end of the screen was the person-in-charge of the factory incident. From the bottom to the top, all the managers and managers were like children who had made a mistake.
Finally, Old Bu spoke.
"Answer me, how many times have I told you about this?"
Everyone lowered their heads in silence. No one dared to raise their heads.
After a moment of silence, Old Bu sighed in disappointment.
"I often tell you that you have to be careful when you do things. Everything has to be done according to the rules and regulations. Yet, you still dare to try your luck on these matters."
"In my opinion, a slip-up now is not a coincidence but inevitable!"
"Take a look at my office. Rules are the heavens, just like how no one has ever dared to barge into my office. This is called rules!"
Bang!
The video conference was at a critical juncture!
Suddenly, there was a violent sound of the door being pushed open. A woman barged in violently.
The staff in the video conference still had their heads lowered, but their eyes were already starting to drift upwards with strange expressions!
Old Bu's heart skipped a beat and his face tensed up.
He had just said that no one would dare to come in and the next moment, someone came in. This was a blatant challenge to his authority. Furthermore, there were still people from several subsidiary companies watching!
If he did not handle this matter properly, how was he going to convince the public in the future? It would be a joke if word got out.
Old Bu suppressed his anger, the veins on his forehead were bulging like worms!
'What are those security guards doing? Didn't I say that no one is allowed in?!'
Old Bu turned around with an angry face and his expression immediately changed.
"Oh! Selina! It's you!"
When he saw who it was, Old Bu greeted her with a smile!
"Hey! Selina, my dear daughter, why didn't you tell me you were coming? You asked me to prepare your favorite food…"
"No need! Thank you."
Old Bu smiled apologetically.

"Okay, okay! It's okay if you don't want to eat. I'll make you some coffee."
Knowing that Selina would not visit unless she had something to ask, Old Bu waved at the people on the video call.
"Disperse, disperse. Go back and reflect on your mistakes this time. Forget it this time. Don't do it again!"
The crowd, who were prepared to be publicly executed, felt as if they were suddenly pardoned after hearing this sentence. They could not be bothered to be surprised by their boss's different attitude and quickly exited the conference video.
"Alright, my dear daughter. I've chased them away. If there's anything, just say it."
Selina took a sip of the coffee and frowned.
"What else could it be? It's all because of your precious son!"
Upon hearing this, Old Bu immediately thought of something.
"Is there any progress on the matter that Brian told us about?"
"Yes!" Selina nodded.
"Are you sure?"
"Those people's residences in Gro City were arranged by the government. Do you think I would make a mistake about this!?" Old Bu smiled apologetically.
He had asked a stupid question. Although Selina had not inherited his business, she was doing very well in the government. She knew everything about the government, and since she had come personally, it meant that the matter had been confirmed.
The father and daughter talked for a while and wanted to call the person involved to discuss.
When the call connected, Old Bu greeted him warmly.
"Hey! My good son, how have you been recently?"
"I'm not your son. What's the matter?"
A lazy female voice sounded from the other end of the phone, clear and pleasant to the ears.
The moment they heard this voice, Old Bu and his daughter looked at each other with different expressions.
As a veteran, Old Bu seemed to have thought of something, and his eyes revealed an appreciative smile.
His oldest daughter was almost 30 years old, but she did not have a boyfriend. Speaking of which, Brian was more reliable. He had given him such a big surprise.
Young man, well done!
After receiving the call, Old Bu's gloomy face immediately brightened up.
Although he could not see him over the phone, he could hear the joy in his voice.
"Hello! Ma'am! I'm Brian's father. May I ask when you met Brian? What do you think of him?"
After a moment of silence, the voice on the phone became gentler.
"We've only known each other for less than a month. As for him… I guess he's alright!"
The unctuous voice on the other end of the line did not dampen Old Bu's enthusiasm. He went on.
"Are you living together now?"
This time the silence on the phone was longer.
"Mm! I've moved to the castle for a few days!"
"Then…"
Hearing Selina's cough, Old Bu finally remembered why he called and ended the conversation.
"Hey! Ms Selia, it's nice to chat with you, but I need to talk to Brian about something. Is he with you now?"
"Oh! He was too tired last night and should be asleep by now. Do you need me to wake him up to answer the call?"
'Too tired? Too tired such that he fell sleep?'
'F*ck, not only are they living together, but the two of us have already progressed to that stage? Looks like my business empire will have a successor!'
'Why should I bother him at such an important time? They are just a few people from the special department. How are they more important than my own grandchild?!'
"Hey! Miss! You don't have to wake him up. If he's tired, let him sleep a little longer!
"Hehe! You guys have to work hard. I'll visit you guys in a few days!"
Beep beep beep!
Celia, who hung up the call, was confused!
She thought about calling Brian, but the scene at the bottom of the bed had her reeling again.
After hesitating for a while, she placed her phone on the sofa.
Judging from his father's attitude, it should not be anything important. It was better to wait for him to get up first.

Quest of the Seal Bearers - Book 1: The Warriors Return

Fantasma, leader of the global government, and his colleagues are determined to find cause of these attacks. but the search for answers points them to an ancient relic, The Book of War, a cursed artifact that can create indestructible creatures loyal to its master. It’s been over twelve thousand years since the Book of War was last opened. It was believed to be destroyed during the Great War by the Twelve Warriors and Daughter of the Sun at the cost of their lives. Now, it seems the book has resurfaced, and its new master is seeking to forever tip the balance of power. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Meanwhile on Earth, the teen members of Greengale’s Action and Adventure Club are preparing for their yearly trip when they suddenly stumble upon a secret their parents have been keeping for years. Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
