I Can Farm Attributes From Ghosts! Chapter 32

The moon was hidden in the dark clouds and the dark night began to envelop the earth.
She was already feeling a little scared, but this damned darkness made everything worse.
"Mr. Brian, you bastard. You didn't even tell me that the car was locked. You caused me to be standing here in the wind! What a bastard!"
Although she was complaining, her limbs betrayed her worries.
The wait was always so long.
As time passed by, she began to worry.
The crematorium was now calm but Celia's heart was the exact opposite.
It was strange! Logically speaking, there was no movement from the crematorium. The battle should have ended.
Thinking of Brian's confident look, Celia felt that the female ghost was not his match. Even if Brian was not its match, he should have escaped by now!
Why had nobody come out after an hour?
Thinking about it, Celia began to panic!
Just as she was about to get off the car to search, two figures walked out from the darkness.
"Ohh! Lady in high heels, are you planning to look for me?"
"I'm not. I just want to see if the female ghost is dead."
Delighted, Celia looked in the direction of the voice. Then, her expression froze.
"I'm sorry, but things can't go as you wish."
The cold voice was very calm, but it made people shiver in the middle of the night.
…
Since Brian was injured and not suitable for driving, this glorious task fell on Celia.
The car drove steadily but the atmosphere in the car was strange.
Everyone remained silent as if they had their own thoughts.
When everyone returned to the castle, it was already five in the morning.
In the hall, a cold figure stood gracefully in front of the seven-colored floor-to-ceiling window.
Ten minutes ago, she had been in the same position and had not moved.
Brian turned around on the sofa. He looked troubled.
Unexpectedly, after she came out, she put on that symbolic cloak again. It seemed that she had not completely put it down.

He did not know if what she said was true. Could it be that she was just finding an excuse to blame him?
Forget it, there was no need to think about anything else. If she did not want to enter the ghost realm, so be it. Since she had already subdued it, he would think of a way to bring her in.
'In my hands, everything is not up to you anymore. If I want you to kneel down and sing 'Conquer', you have to listen obediently. Hiss hiss…'
Before he could finish fantasizing, a wave of pain pulled him back to reality.
'Oh! What is this woman up to again?'
"Hey! Madam Celia, are you sure you're a doctor and not a vet?" Brian asked with a grin.
"Mr. Varoka, the chief military doctor of the Seventh Army, is my teacher. What do you think?"
Was the chief military doctor of the Seventh Army very powerful?
Brian hesitated when he saw the sharp knife.
'Isn't it just bringing back a pitiful female ghost? I don't even mind, why do you mind?'
Looking at the bow tied to the wound, Brian regretted asking Celia to help with the wound.
"Cough cough! Have you settled it?"
"Yes! Bastard Brian, you won't die for the time being. The bullet has been taken out. Suture the wound and observe it for a few more days. It'll be fine as long as it's not infected."
Ignoring Celia's strange tone, after Brian made sure the wound was all right, he was eager to leave.
Halfway through, she was suddenly pulled back.
"What's wrong, Ma'am? What else do you have to say?"
Celia stared intently at the back of the figure in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, a look of apprehension and dissatisfaction on her face.
From her point of view, Brian had originally gone to the crematorium to rescue her, but now, not only did he not destroy the female ghost who had abducted her, he even brought her back and lived under the same roof as the female ghost. Just thinking about it made her feel creepy.

The key was that the female ghost was so beautiful. Who knew if Brian had ulterior motives!
'That's not right! It's none of my business if he has ulterior motives. It's purely because I have to stay here for a few more days. Yes, that's all!'
"Hey! Mr. Brian, don't you have anything to explain to me?"
"Aha! You're talking about Morgana, right? She's already been subdued by me. Don't provoke her, and everything will be fine."
Brian smiled and waved at the air.
The ice sculpture-like figure in front of the floor-to-ceiling window instantly disappeared. When she reappeared, she was already between the two of them.
"What the hell, you still dare to come over!"
Celia instinctively wanted to reach for her gun, but suddenly she froze.
What a joke. This female ghost was not afraid of guns at all. She still remembered the lesson from last time. She did not want to do it again.
Brian paid no attention to her actions, let alone Morgana. She was expressionless from beginning to end.
"Morgana, make your stand!"
Brian's cold voice came almost at the same time.
"I'm sorry! I shouldn't have scared you last time!"
"Hmm! This kid is worth teaching!" Brian nodded in satisfaction.
Needless to say, he somewhat liked the feeling of being at his beck and call, not to mention the opponent was a Grade B Ghost General.
Brian began to mediate!
"As the saying goes, it's better to squash enmity than keep it alive. Let's forget about the previous misunderstanding. Morgana, find a room to stay in later!"
"Oh! I almost forgot. Lady in high heels, if you're afraid, you can move into the room next to mine. I don't mind. You can even move into my room! Hahaha!"
"Hmph! Mr. Brian, you always like to dream about wonderful things!"
Celia snorted and turned away.
"Why would I be afraid of her? You'd better be careful. Don't sleep with this woman until midnight… She'll crawl out from under the woman's bed and turn into a mouse to eat you up."
Initially, Celia wanted to talk about the female ghost, but for some reason, she did not.
'Big rats? Talking about those roasted rats?'
Brian laughed and shook his head.
After settling the human and ghost, he turned around and returned to his room!
The matter of Morgana was complicated. Brian did not intend to tell Celia much.
Firstly, these things had nothing to do with an ordinary person like her. Secondly, he had already promised to keep Morgana's secret. Going back on his word was not his style.
Back in his room, Brian washed up briefly before he locked the door.
As soon as he entered the ghost realm, he heard a series of notifications.
Brian smiled contentedly.
"Ding! Congratulations to host for successfully subduing a Grade B Ghost General. As this is the first time you subdued a Ghost General, the system will reward you with a new skill—Elementary Undying Body!"
"Ding! Congratulations host for completing the upgrade mission. Reward: 2 years of life, 1,200 attribute points, 500 ghost aura, constitution +10, mind power +10…"
"Ding! The host has reached Grade C Earth Master and has activated the merchant shop's exchange function. The update time is one month. Please wait patiently!"
"Ding! Activating other system functions. Host, please explore by yourself!"
After the prompt, Brian entered a state of wonder.
He felt his body clear up and the fatigue on his body was washed away. He felt refreshed all of a sudden.
A moment later, Brian opened his eyes. He saw a flash of light.
