"Well then, he would have to supplement our loss with some of the members of their so-called Diamond Crust Mercenaries…" Min Hong spoke with the same flat expression and tone he had used since he got here as Fao Hai frowned in fury as he commanded with a strong bellow; "Members of the Diamond Crust, show this little charlatans why the Diamond Crust Mercenaries shouldn't be crossed!" Fao Hai bellowed with strong killing intent towards the Min Hong duo… "Any one of you who feels he has seen enough of the world and is tired of living can take a step forward into their deaths if they wish…" Min Hong spoke without even sparing all the roaring Diamond Crust Mercenaries any sort of glance; "Eh?" "Unh?" Some of the experts within the group frowned in shock as they involuntarily ground to a halt, after all, for someone like this little kid to say such words, except he was courting death, then he must surely have something to back up his words with, and as a result, their reasoning won over their will to impress one of the leaders of their organizations… Fao Hai saw what happened and his face darkened significantly before he threatened the experts on his sides; "You think he is more of a threat than me because he threatened to kill you… Have you all forgotten that the lives of your families depends on my mood?" The experts heard this and the nature of their alliances resurfaced in their minds as they looked towards Min Hong with crazed expressions… They might be scared of death, but when it came to the safety of their families, they would definitely not mind dying as long as they got to drag their killer with them to the depths of the netherworld… As a result, these men spurred up their cultivations but were all stunned speechless when they realized that their Qi were actually burning their meridians… It was as if they were cultivating searing flames instead of Qi…They sent their mental energies into their Dan and meridians to check what was going on =, but they were all unable to figure out what was going wrong; "He threatens you with the lives of your families, but what makes you think I won't go after your families after I am done with you all!?" Before the sabre could make a full arc, Fao Hai felt some sort of resistance in his swing, and by the time his eyes, he found a hand grabbing the Gold Tier Sabre [which was backed up with a Saint Stage cultivation base] by the blade… "Unh?" The entire crowd was stunned speechless by what they were seeing, then they saw the most gruesome and mind numbing situation of their lives; Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Min Hong dished out several neck twisting slaps to Fao Hai's face as the entire crowd watched on with slacked jaws and wide eyes… "Did he just-?" "Who is this kid?" Many of the experts in the Diamond Crust Mercenary group whispered several unanswered questions to one another, and just after they said that, the pig faced Fao Hai looked to the group and bellowed furiously; "I will not only heads your heads for refusing to comply with my orders, but I will also have the heads of every single member of your fam-" "If you say interrupt me with another word, that would be the last time you ever see the light of this realm!" Min Hong didn't even allow Fao Hai to speak before he interrupted him with a blatant, out and out threat… Fao Hai was initially caught off-guard by Min Hong's threat before he secretly whipped out a pendant and held it tight in his hands whilst using his other to grip the blood sabre as he bolted towards Min Hong… But he had barely taken his first step before he saw a white robe appear right in front of him, and then everything became dark as he groaned and yelled in agony; "Arghh! My eyes!" Fao Hai scream at the top of his lungs as he grabbed his face which was now bleeding… Min Hong's palm sucked in the blood surrounding the eyes as he began to roll the eyes in his hands like a stress ball, before turning to Jun Tao to continue his conversation; "We are here to get information on the state of things and the progress of your mission…" He said to the Jun Tao who was looking with a stupefied expression at the youth who looked seemingly 15 years of age but had the nonchalance to gouge out a Saint Stage expert's eyes without the expert knowing; "Unh- oh- Um, yeah… We can return to our base to discuss it in details, but I don't think I would be able to last that long, but Teng knows where all the written information are stored and he can get it to you…" "I am already happy enough that I could complete my tasks as an intern protector of the Empire, even though it took me five solid years before accomplishing the task…" Jun Tao began to give some kind of [end-of-life-rally] speech as Min Hong simply appeared behinds him and made some mysterious hand gestures, before slamming his palm into Jun Tao's back; Zoom! Natural energy surged wildly like shredding winds of a CAT-5 hurricane before pouring wildly into Jun Tao, and in just less than 10 minutes; Boom! Jun Tao's energy surged wildly as he began to literally elevate off the ground and float into the air… "What!?" "Saint Stage energy!?" Fao Hai who was blind at this point but could still see everything via his spirit sense was stunned by what Min Hong had just done, and he wasn't the only one… All of 30 or so experts who were in the Nascent Soul stage in the Diamond Crust mercenary side stared at the entire scene with slacked jaws as their hearts began to tremble in wild awe; they looked at Min Hong, and for some reason, he appeared like a God who had just descended into the mortal realm and blessed one of their fellow beings… Jun Tao spent about fifteen minutes before the aura surging around him finally died down, then he looked towards Min Hong and dropped to his knees instantly; "Master!" Just one word, and it summed everything up; about how he felt about his breakthrough into the Saint Stage; about how he felt about Min Hong, personally; about how his future decisions and entire life will move from now henceforth… To Jun Tao, there was only Min Hong, and Min Hong alone… The rest of Jun Tao's group also dropped to their knees, and just as Min Hong saw a Saint Stage expert and about 30 Nascent Soul expert bowing to hi in the middle of the desert, he suddenly had some sort of epiphany… Then just as he was about to speak, one of the experts from the Diamond Crust Mercenary stepped out and dropped to his knees, then he looked towards Min Hong and asked; "Young master, I really didn't want to become the person I currently am, but I have families, and this barren lands have nothing to offer in terms of treasures, resources or food of any kind… Then after the Diamond Crust Alliance came, they threatened all of us with the lives of our families, and as a result we were forced to join their ranks…" "I am sincerely tired of living the life of a bandit, and even my wife and little daughter are beginning to fear who I am becoming… If it is not too much of a burden to you, please take care of my wife and daughter, and I will gladly, and loyally serve you till I return to dust…" The Nascent Soul expert spoke and Min Hong could sense the genuineness in his words, after all, Fao Hai just threatened their family right here in his presence and as a result, he knew there was no lie in his words, but just as he was about to accept the man's gestures, another two experts came out of the crowd and joined their first counterpart… Then another four, and then eight, and then ten, and before Min Hong could understand what was going on, a lot of experts were already standing between the Diamond Crust Mercenary group and those of Jun Tao's men… Min Hong then had no choice but to look towards Gong Yi…
