I Reincarnated As A Shinai Chapter 292

While the Bhibra Village is fighting against the Beast Wave, the two neighboring kingdoms are actually experiencing a similar thing as a group of powerful beasts were trying to cross the border of the kingdom.
At this moment, on top of the outer wall of Isengard Fortress in Chodora Kingdom, a man clad in black armor is standing steadily while observing the swarm of beasts coming to them…
He's emitting a powerful aura around him that made the soldiers of the kingdom step away from him.
His name is Hendrick Ricarte, one of the current Knight Commander of the Chaos Knights**
He was just a Knight-Captain before but because of his incredible achievements during the war against the soldiers of the Erliente Dukedom, he managed to awaken his skills and become one of the most fearsome Chaos Knights of the Chodora Kingdom.
Though he was unable to face the rumored Angel Mercenary, he had managed to kill more than a hundred Beast Tamers alone… They weren't even normal tamers as they have also mastered the Beast Arts that will allow them to borrow the strength of their tamed beasts…
Nevertheless, with his Epic Weapon gifted to him by the Chaos Knights Elders to lead the war, he managed to kill more than a hundred of them alone in a span of two years.
"Commander Hendrick… There are only a hundred Chaos Knights here. The headquarters won't be able to send reinforcements since they have already sent most of them to the south."
Misha, one of his subordinates ever since he became a captain, reported behind him.
Unfortunately, the others had already perished during the war against the dukedom.
"It doesn't matter. We will still help General Julian." Henrick replied as he looked at the beautiful knight behind him.
Unlike his full-black armor, the knight is wearing silver and black armor indicating that she's the vice-commander of their battalion.

They arrived here at Isengard Fortress to supposedly help the investigation of the northern army in this unclaimed land since the Three-Eyed Imp Cult had suspiciously become silent over the past few years.
The General wanted to form a powerful expedition team to explore the unclaimed lands with the help of the Chaos Knights…
However, as soon as their small battalion arrived, they were welcomed by a piece of news telling them that there is an incoming beast wave!
Though they have prepared to fight the Evil Beasts of this land, they weren't expecting a massive beast wave at all!
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Hendrick suddenly heard a group of soldiers walking up to him.
He noticed that it was general Julian himself with his entourage of three powerful soldiers.
If he wasn't mistaken, they were most likely part of the elite Night Brigade.
Anyway, General Julian isn't wearing his armor but instead a luxurious yellow robe like he was some kind of a scholar or perhaps a noble of the Kingdom.
"Commander Hendrick… You're still here." The man who appears to be in his fifties greeted the Chaos Knight.
Julian has short black hair and a mustache that can be rarely seen from the army. He has a small frame unlike the member of the Night Brigade behind him so most would think that he's a normal nobleman if they don't know his name.
However, if they heard about his title as the Iron Fist General of the North, they would surely tremble in their feet.
He is currently the strongest Arcanist in the Army of the Chodora Kingdom… Right now, no one knows how many Arcana is in his possession!
"Don't worry, General… I will do my best to help you and your soldiers in this war."
"That's good to hear, commander… Right, I came here for something else."

"Oh, you can tell me about it, General Julian."
"Hmm… In truth, a small unit of Sun Fire Knights has answered our call for assistance and rushed here within a few hours… There's only 10 of them in their small group so I'm wondering whether you would mind working with them."
The general said with a smile on his face. They weren't really asking for help and they just did it as a formality when experiencing an unprecedented event.
Even if no one helped them, they know that they will be able to handle this beast wave like all the other beast waves they've experienced.
"Don't worry, General… Although our Chaos Knights have a problem with them, we are all still serving the same king."
Hendrick answered with a serious tone. Anyway, he doesn't have any personal problems with the Sun Fire Knights and his only concern is that their Fire Aura weakens their Chaotic Heart ability. Aside from that, it was all about the politics between the two leaders of Knights Order.
'Well, it's only a small unit… There shouldn't be a problem.'
Hendrick thought as he glanced at the incoming swarm of beasts.
"It seems that the beasts are about to arrive… I will leave my Night Brigade to lead my elite soldiers to deal with the powerful Evil Beasts. As for the weaker ones, this will be good training for your knights and my soldiers so I won't be helping."
Julian said as he left the outer wall alone.
The general was right, the beasts may be large in number but they were just mostly composed of phantom wolves, iron-clawed bears, three-eyed vipers, orc-eating eagles, and slow-moving treants… Unless there are dark elves hiding, there is nothing to worry about.
Hendrick knows that if they are only facing these beasts, they should be able to handle it with minimal casualties.
However, he has a bad feeling about this but he can't point it out.
'Haa~ Anyway, the Night Brigade's group will deal with the strongest beasts so it should ease the burden of facing them…'
Hendrick then felt some powerful aura below him…
He saw a group of 10 Sun fire Knights behind the outer wall's gate. It seems that they will be joining the assault team that would deal with the beasts once they reached the walls.
That's right, they are not planning to just wait for the beasts to climb up their walls and planned to face them with their soldiers!
He glanced at the two Sunfire Knights that are giving him a powerful presence, one of them is carrying a majestic bow, which is very uncommon for the Knights, and the other one is carrying a simple black sword but emits a dangerous aura as he looks at the closed gate.
It seems that he could no longer wait for the gate to open and face the beast wave.
