I Reincarnated As A Shinai Chapter 288

If Reiji wasn't mistaken, the young man just used a normal Energy Bullet on his first shot.
He's probably gauging the power of his bullets against this powerful creature. Anyway, he didn't have a chance to use them against other Evil Beasts so he could understand the young man's curiosity.
On the other hand, Reiji felt that Mourad should've considered using his Arcana's Awakened Skills to deal lethal damage on the Wyvern's head. Because right now, the flying beast has become wary of him and perhaps, Mourad would have difficulty landing a clean hit again.
'It wasn't that effective but that still created a bit of scratch on its body…' Reiji mused after seeing the Wyvern's sturdy body…
Boom! Boom! Boom!
He then saw the various Arcane Magic of the Half-Imps being thrown to the beast. Since the Wyvern is alone, everyone is focused on hitting it and even if their magic isn't that powerful, it could still push it back!
Roooaar!!
The Wyvern roared in anger as it started casting a powerful Arcane Magic. Its mouth sucked the surrounding air before unleashing powerful magic.
Whooshh!
"Wind Vortex! Stop it with Wind-Elemental Magic! Hurry!"
The elders who had seen the attack shouted. They do not have many Magic Items that are capable of casting wind-elemental magic so they have to quickly act and use their magic.
Bam!
Five Half-Imps carrying similar Magic Weapons used a Wind Wave to stop the Wind Vortex… It may not be enough to dissipate it but it is still weakened the Vortex…
"Let me take care of this…"
Soon, a young man holding a double-ended sword jump from the top of the tallest building…
The Wyvern has already destroyed a part of the village just from that Wind Vortex, they can't let the beast continue attacking or else, it would be harder for them to defeat the flying beast later tonight.

"That's Stasis!"
"Wait… Why did he go alone?!"
"Tsk… So reckless!"
The adult Half-Imps recognized the figure who jump to face the Evil Beast.
However, the truth is that Stasis didn't just jump but he actually used the Runic Flight of his Epic Arcana that Reiji gave to him as a special reward!
It is the Autumn Wyvern Scarf that has Mass Heal and Runic Flight Ability!
He approached the blind spot of the Wyvern to he managed to get closer to the beast!
Soon, an intimidating aura started spreading throughout the village.
This is the Sword Aura coming from the young man… It is a perfect opportunity for him to deal a critical blow to the beast so he doesn't have plans of wasting it…
"Echo Slash!"
This is his Arcana's Awakened Skill!
His Starfire Detachable Double-Ended Sword has three Awakened abilities… They are the Echo Slash, Bloodlust, and the Sword Aura…
Since his target is not bleeding yet, he's unable to activate his Bloodlust that would boost his damage to the beast…
With this in mind, he had to ensure that his slash would be able to at least cut this Wyvern's body…
Ssak---
The beast's leg was cut by the young man's Epic Sword!
The Wyvern cried in pain as it landed on the ground destroying the stone and wooden houses…
"Bind it now!"
"Don't let it destroy more buildings!"
The elders and the others didn't waste their time and quickly used binding Arcane Magic to the beast… They realized that Stasis was actually stronger than they thought!
Anyway, they couldn't let the beast fly again or they will lose the advantage that they just gained.
Of course, the Wyvern didn't just watch them as it angrily cast its spells everywhere!
Boom! Boom! Boom!

The buildings around the wyvern completely collapsed as it struggled to fight the binding magic used by the elders…
Then, Stasis had also continued attacking and this time, he could finally use his Bloodlust!
"Fire Burst!"
"Cyclone Slash!"
Two Epic Skills was used as Wyvern's cuts started accumulating… Perhaps, if they continued this for half an hour, this beast would completely tire out and die from their relentless assault…
However, as Stasis was thinking this, he heard another familiar gunshot coming from afar…
Bang!
This time, the bullet penetrated the Wyvern's skin and it probably hit its skull!
It was Mourad's Piercing Shot!
His Savage Hunting Rifle was so powerful considering the distance he was at!
Unfortunately, his Piercing Shot has a 1-minute cooldown… It's not suitable for long-drawn battles like this.
In truth, all his bullets have at least 15 seconds cooldown. And apparently, the Rifle's reloading process needs the same 15 seconds.
It means that Mourad can only shoot 4 bullets per minute in max and all of them would even be Energy Bullets.
Though it is powerful, the Hunting Rifle is just inefficient when it comes to the firing rate. Nevertheless, Mourad still has his sword and of course, this battle style suited him as well.
He'd rather wait for the cooldown of his rifle than swing his sword in the front lines.
"Good… Keep it up and we'll kill this Wyvern in a while!"
The Elders noticed that it is not impossible to win as they increased the morale of everyone.
It must also be noted that the five Guardians haven't acted yet. So even if the Wyvern became too strong, they know that it's still not the end of them.
'Well… It's too embarrassing if the guardians needed to act because of just a single creature… Us Half-Imps weren't that weak!'
The elders also wanted to show Ruthren that they have skills and are strong when united.
Sure enough, the Wyvern breathes its last after about five more minutes of struggling.
They do not have a powerful killing move that could end the fight in one shot but they were at least powerful enough that they could avoid having a casualty in this fight.
That's right, although the buildings had collapsed, no one has died in this battle.
Though there are injured people after getting hit by the debris falling everywhere, none of them were serious!
"Impressive… This Hunting Rifle is very good… and it's only a Unique-Rank Arcana! If it has a faster firing rate, this will probably become a very scary Arcana in my generation."
Szaaz commented after seeing the end of the battle. He's fascinated at the powerful hunting rifle and the great distance it could cover. Aside from that, the accuracy was also impeccable which is the scariest part of it.
"That's true… But don't worry… I'm sure there would be a lot more types of guns that will appear someday." Reiji replied since if he's the Gun or perhaps Firearm Deity, he would surely create better rifles than this one.

Kingdom of Tyr (Original)
This fiction has been concluded as of the end of Book 1, the portion of the story posted here. There will be a complete rewrite as a separate fiction in the future to make the system more consistent and add more to the world while expanding on the events within this fiction. This rewrite will begin eventually, posted as a separate story. Colt, twelve, is walking home from school when he's approached by another boy dressed oddly, who asks him - theoretically - about living in another world. After asking some information about the theoretical other world, Colt says he'd probably prefer to live there, to get away from the problems he has on Earth. Once Colt confirms that, he finds himself in an abandoned city, the other boy revealing himself to be a god, who then offers to train Colt until he can stand on his own and live by himself. After a couple of months, the god sends Colt off for greater training, to learn to use both Aura and Mana, with his only instructions being to return every now and then to visit, and to make friends and have lots of fun. This story follows Colt, a boy named Tyler he meets in the new city, and their journey to growing stronger, having fun, and striving to beat each other. Note: this story is not intended to be professional-quality, and it does draw inspiration from many sources. That said, it is its own story, in its own world. It has never been and never will be edited. It will also have multiple PoV's, starting somewhere after Chapter 8.

Summoned
“Per aspera ad astra." Death. Mercilessly, it comes for all. But when a young man is given a second chance – a second life – to experience what he never has, what will he do? Leave the burdens of his past behind, improving upon his faults? Or will he collapse back into old sins, wasting the opportunity given to him? Perhaps even he himself does not know. * Join Andre on his journey as he explores a new world – one ripped straight from the pages of a D&D campaign he's never played. He will face monsters. He will face men. And above all, he will face himself. The story’s genre is your standard progression fantasy, isekai: magic, a system, and a level of technology suspiciously underdeveloped. I’ve borrowed tropes from various books I’ve read like “The Second Coming of Gluttony”. The similarities are there (particularly in the beginning), but I assure you the story is my own. It’s in the first-person perspective and has its own quirks, characters, and world for you to become immersed in. The upload schedule for this will be different from the usual fictions on this site: I’ll release chapters in batches rather than so many a week. I’m a college student, so I don’t want another deadline to worry about. Depending on the popularity/demand of the series, I might increase or decrease the rate of releases. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the story! P.S. This is my first fiction so make sure to point out mistakes wherever you see them. I’m doing this, partly, to increase my skill as a writer. However, be kind! I’m fragile, you know? Warning: ***This is far from your happy-go-lucky, feel-good adventure story. There will be content that some of you might not be comfortable with. And if you're already feeling skeptical reading this, click away and don't come back. If you're still here, what are you waiting for?***
