He learned from Szaaz that the items belong to the Arcanist that baited him into that Confinement Array. The man sacrificed himself to ensure that he wouldn't be able to get out of that prison forever.

Aside from that, the Cursed Arcana doesn't know much about the Arcanist but he was sure that the man was one of Nero's servants.

'Let's see the items of the Arcanists from the past…' Reiji pondered as he checked their attributes once more. He didn't have much time before due to the collapsing cavern but he now has all night to check all of them.

Reiji pondered for a moment. He had never expected that the first-ever known Arcana is actually a Cursed Arcana!

He even remembered how the members of the Collection said that they had changed their purpose to defeat the Cursed Arcana after not bearing any fruit from the investigation of the Arcane World.

'Interesting… But if he's also a Cursed Arcana, why did he trap Szaaz? Right, based on that Trident's words, he doesn't even seem to be aware that Nero is not a Blessed but a Cursed Arcana like him.'

Reiji pondered for a moment as he tried to think of possible reasons.

As he was thinking, he had a ridiculous idea that Nero was Blessed at first but became a Cursed Arcana along his journey due to some unknown reasons.

He's unsure what kind of drama he went through, but it's probably good to know if there is really a chance to change their affiliation with the deity.

He decided to keep this Token with him unless he has a student that will visit the Enetha Empire someday to look for Nero.

He then continued checking the other items.

As of now, they are still using ancient methods to treat themselves. This method might be effective for many injuries but it doesn't mean that it could treat all of them.

More than that, the sight of flight arcane magic was also extremely rare!

'It's amazing… Both of them don't even have a cooldown.'

Nevertheless, he could understand why the mass heal doesn't have a cooldown. With such a high energy requirement, you wouldn't be able to use it consecutively as well unless you're like Stella with an Energy Bank…

He can probably use this item as a reward as well. It would be a waste if the Runic Flight wouldn't be used after all.

On the other hand, the Lunar Vacuum Grip is quite useful for grappling techniques… However, Reiji wasn't good with that so he couldn't teach someone to practice it. Perhaps, he'll find a suitable student someday that can wield this item.

Finally, the Blood Sacrifice is quite a powerful technique that temporarily increases the wielder's power in exchange for dropping some blood to the Arcana.

'These are all good…'

At last, he found some interesting Arcana that he didn't want to sell or be used to be offered to the Deity at all…

Time quickly passed as the morning finally arrives.

The final day of the competition is about to start.

"Master… We have prepared everything. Are you sure you'll just be displayed there together with the new trident?"

Ruthren asked after Reiji selected a spot within the Training Hall where swords and various items are displayed.

"Yep… My students will easily notice me here. I hope they'll do their best once they noticed that I'm here."

Reiji answered feeling a bit excited about the young kids.

"I wonder who's suitable for Taishou…" The Sentient Arcana muttered while looking at the entrance of the dojo.
