Reiji was silently observing the Armored Black Ape that was currently licking the wounds on his arms. It seems that the wounds couldn't easily be healed just by relying on his Spiritual Energy.

Reiji can feel the Ape's energy so he was sure that the beast was attempting to close those wounds just like how Diether heals himself.

"Good… Just stay like that…" He silently prayed since he wanted this to be done quickly. If he didn't finish this off instantly, he might struggle to fight against the large Ape.

Luckily, the beast wasn't in a mood to move yet due to the exhaustion from the previous battle.

"Grrr…" The Ape grumbled due to the pain from those wounds. Reiji had a sudden hunch that the sword wasn't a simple blade but it might be an Arcana or a Magic Weapon with unknown effects.

Reiji had noticed that the ape waited until Orga was out of sight before he put down his guard and treated himself. It means that he was feeling safe right now and it was the best time to attack.

Suddenly, the Ape looked around and after confirming that no other beasts were around, he shook his arm and the arm's bone armor was suddenly removed!

It seems that it was a retractable thing and Reiji realized that this was the best time to take action!

The shinai floated silently on top of the Ape. The dull tip of the shinai was pointed on top of the ape's head.

He practiced this a lot of times during the past few weeks so he was sure that he wouldn't be detected unless they have some special ability that he was not aware of. His movement was swift and minimal…

Reiji immediately increased his weight to its maximum…

Fifty kilograms! It was the maximum weight he could put on himself or the shinai. However, it wasn't enough for Reiji. He wanted to make sure that even if the ape survives the first sneak attack, he would be able to follow up!
