Barista Cafe`

Hu Jun stood in the middle of the cafe` and looked around to search for the person he came to meet. He was still shaken about the events of the last night and couldn't believe that someone not only managed to hack his system but also lured him to agree to work for him.

Is he going to work with him? What if that man is some fraud or wants to use him to do some shady stuff?

He pursed his lips and looked around anxiously. Should I just leave? He wondered.

Even though he came to the cafe, he doesn't know anything about the person. His name, how he looks, or what kind of clothes he is going to wear today. He knows nothing. How will he recognize him now?

" It's 11 sharp. I will wait for 5 minutes more and will leave. Yeah, that sounds like a good plan." He thought and stood in the middle while looking around at everyone sitting in the cafe and tapped his foot on the floor anxiously.

He was wearing a denim blue shirt and black trousers and was dressed tastefully unlike his usual black t-shirt and his favorite superman red boxers that he wears at home. He wanted his first impression to be smart and intellectual, and not dull and weak.

He has fine looks and if he dresses well, he can easily intimidate the other person. He cannot be defeated in terms of looks, not at all. Today, he wasn't even wearing his round-shaped glasses, instead, he was using brown contact lenses to go with his outfit.

Although they were uncomfortable, anything for fashion.

He looked at the time on his watch again and smiled to see that 5 minutes were already up. " Since he didn't show up yet, I can leave without feeling guilty. It's his fault for not showing up on time," he murmured before turning around to leave.

However, just as he was about to leave, a waiter called him out from behind and tapped on his shoulder gently, " Sir, your table is over there, behind the pillar." He pointed towards a table in the far back that was covered behind a large pillar.

Xu Nuan was sitting at the table, waiting for Hu Jun to arrive. She was wearing a lavender, cold shoulder dress. The dress was cute and was stopping before her knees.

The black and lavender floral prints on the dress were contrasting with her fiery personality, making her look gentle and innocent. Her chestnut brown hair was loose on her shoulders in soft curls and was complimenting her overall pretty girl look.

She was sitting with her legs crossed, with one leg over the other, and was patiently waiting for Hu Jun, who was preparing to leave only after 5 minutes of his arrival. However, she didn't come here to let him leave like this.

Hu Jun walked to the table that the waiter pointed to a while ago and shouted, " Are you a pervert? Were you watching me from-

He pursed his lips and swallowed his words to see a beautiful woman sitting at the table instead of the man. His cheeks turned red to see how beautiful and tender the girl looked in the lavender-colored dress.

It was his favorite color and she looked like an ethereal goddess in it. He nodded in embarrassment and apologized, " Ah, I am sorry. I was looking for someone else."

He was looking around and was wondering if the man was still in the cafe or not when the woman spoke to him. Since she was speaking in a low voice, and the music was also loud in the cafe, he couldn't hear her properly.

He turned to her and moved close to her, " You're saying something to me?" He was confused and surprised at the same time.

It was the first time in his life that a beautiful girl like her was talking to him. He was smiling shyly at her and could feel his ears turning red.

'Is she interested in me? Should I give her my number? Or buy her a coffee or something?' he wondered.

Xu Nuan raised her brows to see him leaning close and smiling at her shyly. She smiled back at him and whispered in his ears softly, " What would you like to drink….Number 4?"

Hu Jun was smiling to hear the first part of the sentence but when he heard the last part, his mouth was left parted in shock. His pupils wavered as he was speechless, and didn't know how to react to this news.

Did she call him by his pseudonym? How does she….

He looked at her cautiously and gulped to see her smirking at him. She was looking like an innocent, gentle girl in this dress but her smirk was reminding him about the conservation of his with Moon last night.

Is she really….Moon?

" Should I introduce myself again? My name is Xu Nuan, you can call me...Moon." she smiled at him and extended her hand for a handshake with him.

He was speechless but shook hands with her in a daze. What in the world…

Hu Jun was staring at Xu Nuan in a daze, who was sitting opposite him. He still couldn't believe that the person who hacked his system and was threatening him last night was not a young brat but a….beautiful girl?

Xu Nuan sipped on her cold coffee and smirked seeing his shocked expressions. He was staring at her like this for a while now and wasn't saying anything.

She cleared her throat, " Should we get on with the business now? Here's the contract. If you're done staring, then sign on it." she said straightly while pulling out the contract that she had prepared in advance and placed it on the table in front of him.

Seeing the contract, he almost choked on his drink.

Now when she was talking like this, it reminded him of the chat that they had last night. She is scarily straightforward.

He takes a deep breath and picks up the contract to read it. " The eagle eye cyber security company? What kind of strange name is it?" He commented upon reading the name of the company on it.

" It's still better than your ominous name." She stated indifferently.

Hu Jun shakes his head and raises his brows upon reading the details. Rather than a fixed payment, he was offered 15 percent of the profits. Not only that, the contract was for a trial period of a year which said that if he indulges in any illegal activity without her knowing, he will pay her 10 folds in a fine of what he has been paid already.

He frowns. " First of all, it's a cyber security company. I have never done this kind of work before. I don't think I am fit for it."

" Moreover, what do you mean 15% of the profits instead of the fixed incentives? It's obvious that it's a new company, do you think you will make enough to pay me well? I don't think the 15% will even give me anything."

Hu Jun gulped upon seeing her indifferent expressions and picked up the pen that she had passed him earlier and hurriedly signed his name on it.

Who cares if she is incompetent or is paying him less than he deserves? What matters is...he can't let anyone reveal his secret.
