Han Zihao pursed his lips seeing Xu Nuan pausing in her steps but she didn't turn around to look at him. He walked towards her in long steps and stopped right behind her.

Xu Nuan was holding onto the door while holding her breath in nervousness. She doesn't know why but when she felt his presence behind him, she felt as if her heart would jump out of her body. She is not the type to get nervous easily but she can't control her emotions when it comes to him.

Parting with Qin Ju was not that hard and difficult for her but thinking about the thought of parting with Han Zihao gives her chills. She frowned upon hearing his words because she wasn't angry that he called her monkey but she was angry because he didn't try to contact her or made any initiative when she wasn't talking to him.

She forgot about the monkey thing a long time ago and was just waiting for him to talk to her and make some move. Since she has already made herself clear to him, shouldn't he do the same and put some effort from his side as well? However, he didn't do anything, he didn't even send her a message in these past days.

She was busy in her thoughts but she got startled when she suddenly sensed Han Zihao's cold hands caressing her neck making her shiver instinctively. Her eyes widened in surprise when he gathered her hair and pulled them to the side. She didn't move and stood there without turning around but she couldn't help but wonder what he was trying to do.

However, her eyes widened in shock and confusion when she felt his soft lips falling on her nape. Her hands trembled and she had to clench them tightly to muster the courage to not stumble while standing.

Han Zihao kissed her gently on the neck making her shiver and glanced at her with a slight smile before brushing his cold fingers around her neck making her tremble under his touch. " I am sorry. I am sorry for making you angry and not doing anything to appease you." he hugged her from behind, resting his hands on her abdomen, and snuggled his head against her nape.

Xu Nuan bit her lower lip as her heart was beating at the speed of a bullet train when he hugged her from behind and snuggled his head on her nape. She could feel his warm breath against her skin which caused her cheeks to turn crimson to this close intimacy.

' Why does this back hug feel more erotic than a kiss?' she wondered and pursed her lips tightly to not smile like a fool.

' Xu Nuan, get a hold of yourself. You're angry. Don't get swayed by him so easily.' she repeated in her mind but his warm breath against her skin was making her lose her mind.

She pursed her lips and stood there, forcing herself to listen to his words seriously and not think about anything inappropriate.

He let out a breath and said in a low raspy voice, " I know that I am slow with these things and can be frustrating sometimes. I have never dated anyone nor had many friends so I don't know how to get along with people. I am slow at taking hints when it comes to such things and also don't know many things."

" However...I am trying to learn how to be more expressive and active when it comes to these things. All these things are new and complicated to me. These emotions, the feeling of having someone by your side is still very strange for me."

Xu Nuan pursed her lips and listened to his words while rubbing his hand gently that was placed on her abdomen unknowingly. It was his first time talking about himself and she couldn't help but realize how lonely he must have been all these years to not know how to communicate with people and did not have any friends by his side.

" I am not giving excuses for my actions or saying that I should be forgiven because of it. You have every right to be angry about it but I want you to consider it once again. I might not be the best person to be with, but I am trying to be the one. I am not someone who speaks much but I am trying to be the one with whom you can share your troubles without any difficulties. For people like me who don't talk much, they can be a good listener you know." He said and glanced at her, trying to see her reaction. But she still didn't say anything and was standing still.

He grew anxious and wondered if she was still angry. He pursed his lips and wondered what else to say when she removed his hands that were wrapped around her and turned around to face him.

He got startled when she suddenly turned around and looked at him while wearing serious expressions. He grew nervous and before he could say anything, she grabbed him by the collar and pulled him closer. She stood on her tiptoes and placed her cold moist lips over his causing him to stare at her in a daze with his eyes widened in shock.
