Reincarnated As An Energy With A System Chapter 91

"No? You don't want to hand it over and be spared from death?" Yacius asked.
"Haha, you are going to kill me? And what about the punishment from the sect?" Ning asked. As per the sect rules, if physical harm was done to the other disciples, one would be heavily punished to pay for the disciple's healing costs and other fees.
However, if one were to kill another disciple, he or she would have their cultivation base ruined and expelled from the sect.
"What? You scared now, so you start looking for excuses to survive? Don't worry, nothing bad is going to happen to me. As long as the sect doesn't know that I killed you, I will be free from any punishment that would otherwise be sent upon me," Yacius said.
Ning sighed. It seemed fighting was the only option left here. He just hoped that a combination of nearly 6th level of body cultivation realm and 4th realm of Qi condensation realm was enough to handle the 7 people here.
Just as he thought that 10 more opponents appeared out of nowhere shocking Ning to his core.
'Sh*t' he thought as he looked towards the 10 different beasts that the 7 different people had taken out. 'F**k, I didn't expect them all to have beasts. They aren't even from the Mist Origin sect,' Ning thought.
"Attack," Yacius said, not even giving Ning time to prepare. Hearing the shout, all the 6 different people ran towards Ning. Ning immediately took out his Bloodred spear and started revolving it around him.
Using the Twin Step movement technique, he launched out of the encirclement and landed somewhere away from the people. He immediately started using Hypnotizing Dance to mess with the different people.
However, their cultivation base was high enough to not get confused by such techniques. Only Yacius fell victim to the technique.

Ning immediately rushed towards Yacius to attack him, but suddenly, a bird appeared out of nowhere, clawing at him. Ning had to move to the side to dodge the bird and missed Yacius.
Yacius woke up from the lull and looked around as if he had just woken up from asleep. "What happened?" he said in surprise.
"Young Master, get back. That boy knows some sort of technique that affects the mind. You were asleep for a second there," one of his people told him.
Yacius got a little scared and started hiding behind his people. Ning took the moment to try and run away, but there were already two beasts in front of him, blocking his way.
He used One True Thrust on the Orange-colored winged deer and killed it in one shot. It was only at the 4th Qi Condensation realm, so it couldn't handle Ning's power.
"What?" the people who were distracted due to their young master's predicament were a little surprised to see one of their beasts die like that.
A hyena-like a monster came from Ning's back and attacked him. However, Ning could see everywhere, so he simply turned his spear around and slashed the hyena.
It wasn't enough to kill it, but it was enough to wound it at least.
"That boy's weapon… I think it's a spirit artifact," a man said amongst the group.
"No wonder he is killing our beasts so easily. His cultivation isn't high enough to do that sort of damage," they said. Their reasons for killing Ning increased by one more.
2 people had already made their way to Ning and one of them kicked him. Ning tried to dodge, but it was too late. Even with telekinesis used, he wasn't able to slow down the kick and all and thrown back.

Thankfully, telekinesis has worked as a sort of buffer to waste most of the energy coming towards him. Another man came towards Ning; he even had a sword in his hand.
A slash came towards Ning, and he barely managed to dodge it. Ning swung his spear towards the man, but a fire-red bird appeared right in front of him and caught the spear with its talons.
Fire erupted from its wings and flew towards Ning. Ning let it hit him as the fires did nothing to his sturdy body. However, during that time more beasts and men had gathered around him.
A zap of lightning appeared out of nowhere and attacked Ning. As soon as he was hit, Ning tried to move away, but he realized that his body had been numbed and he could no longer move.
'Sh*t,' he thought. Before he could even think of something else, a foot appeared behind him kicking him away. Ning got back his mobility mid-air, and he landed safely.
"Damn, this kid isn't taking any damage. Does he had armor along with the weapon too?" one of the men asked.
"Must be. Who is this kid? " They started to question.
"Doesn't matter. Just kill him and those artifacts will be ours," Yacius said.
"Yes," the men said and they all immediately went to attack Ning. 6 people, 8 monsters, he couldn't stop them at all. A kick from the left, a ball of fire to the right, a punch to the chest, a bite to the leg; multiple attacks landed on him nearly forcing him to use his energy.
'No, I need that to increase my cap,' he thought, stubbornly.
His body was now full of cuts and bruises all over. Suddenly, they all stopped attacking. 'What's going on?' Ning thought through the pain of his body.
Suddenly, he saw one of the men standing far away with his sword. He was holding the sword as if it were a javelin. Before Ning realized what was happening, the man let go of the sword with a massive sonic book.
It hit Ning square in the right chest and dragged him along with it until it struck a tree and was stuck in it. "Ahhh," Ning shouted in pain, and through the pain, he heard three different notifications.

The Last Science [SE]
[SE has the same content as the original story, split into smaller chunks for easier reading. This story is on a temporary hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. I work in healthcare and unfortunately no longer have the freetime to continue posting on a regular basis. As soon as our workload decreases, I will return. Thanks for reading! 💙] No one ever knows the whole story. Deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, the fading town of Rallsburg stumbles upon an amazing discovery—magic itself. Faced with potentially world-shattering power, the people of Rallsburg keep the secret for themselves. Led by Rachel DuValle, a perpetually underestimated college student with grand ambitions, they seek to found a new society. The world beyond suspects nothing, but magic cannot stay hidden forever. A train arrives in Rallsburg carrying Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate. To him, magic could represent meaning for his life, an explanation for his empty existence. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever—or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series, focused on the modern world with a twist. New societies bud and grow, but the people who make them up are imperfect and flawed. The story includes elements of mystery, action, crime, interpersonal drama, relationships, philosophy, sociology, politics, and much more, all centered on the perspective characters driving the tale. This is the "Scraps Edition" of the story, where the chapters have been split up into bite-size chunks (roughly 1500-3000 words), for your convenience. The prose has been edited from its original form, with some improvements, but there are no content differences from the original. New chapters will be posted throughout each week starting on Friday and appearing on multiple days thereafter, depending on the length of the chapter. Content Warning (by request): This series delves into some topics and situations which may be upsetting for some readers. In American rating parlance, the narrative would be rated PG-13 (except for language), but some have noted the story can get pretty dark on occasion. Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons. Not a YA novel (again).**Due to disturbing themes, violence, depression, language and literally everything else, this is not for the kids. Ghosts is darker than Intentions.
