Reincarnated As An Energy With A System Chapter 31

Late at night, Hyesi was staying outside of his stone house with his mother. Ning was still wondering why they weren't eating any of the food there.
'Do body cultivators not really require food at all?' he was still quite affected by this piece of thought. He couldn't imagine what it would be like to live without eating anything.
'Oh wait…. Hahaha. Aren't I doing the same thing?' he started laughing in his head. He looked around the village. And although he couldn't see anything at night, today had some moonlight and wasn't completely dark like yesterday.
He saw all the villagers, some 40 people, sit outside the dozen or so houses. Although he couldn't see any children, so they must've been asleep by now. After all, they had to wake up before sunrise to do their daily cultivation.
Suddenly, a bunch of footsteps sounds from far away. Many people straggled along the forest, entering the village.
"Lord Ikinaka, are you guys okay? We heard what Hyesi said. Is it true that Fufuliki is much stronger than we thought?" An old man started speaking the moment the group of people entered the forest.
"Inikaka had mercy on us that we lost none of you," said a middle aged woman, who stood up and walked up to the leader and gave him a hug.
"Don't worry my light, We will never die to that demon." The leader reassured, who Ning assumed, was his wife. "Let the people settle, we will talk later. Also, cook a fish for today. The people are tired and hungry from their fight with the demon."
A woman stood up and immediately walked up to the storeroom where the fishes were kept and brought out one of the fish that was encased in salt.

Someone lit a fire using a few stones and dried leaves and they hung the fish directly on top of the flame. Ning looked at Hyesi, a little annoyed that he made him learn Candle Fire when making flames was so easy for the villagers.
'I'm gonna make him work way more tomorrow,' he thought. After the fish was cooked, it was first served to the leader, then to the people who fought and then to the rest of the villagers. They enjoyed the meal and went to sleep.
Similar to yesterday, everyone woke up early in the morning to do the same routine. They would perform some sort of dance preparing for the sun to rise, and after it was done rising above the horizon, they would stop.
This time, Ning understood what was going on.
'System, if these people are succeeding in cultivating their bodies, does it mean that their body produces no Yin?' he asked.
'Sigh. How much does the basic yin and yang bodies explanation cost?' he asked.
'Ummm… I can get that easily. Buy it.' Ning suddenly knew that there was information in his head as if he knew them all along.
Most people were born with a body that produced both Yin and Yang. These people's Yin and Yang canceled each other out and they remained with a normal body.
Some people, however, were born with bodies that produced one in excess over the other.
In the case of some people, they produced more Yin, which destroyed all the yang in their body, leaving them with a Yin Constitution. These people don't succeed in the cultivation method of the Klavians.
Hyesi was one of these.
On the other hand, there were also people born with excess Yang, which destroyed all of the Yin in their body, leaving them with only Yang.

'Wait, do these people succeed the most? Hey system, What body type helps the Klavians the most?' he asked the system.
'Even for this?' he proceeded to buy the advanced knowledge which cost him 20,000 Energy.
'Huh? So Yang Constitutions are bad as well?' he was shocked to learn that since their bodies were already accustomed to yang, they didn't get as much benefit from the cultivation method.
The only people who got the most benefit were people with neither Yang Qi nor Yin Qi.
Days started passing by. In just a few minutes, Ning's cooldown for gaining more energy would be off of the 24 hours cooldown. He happily waited for that with Hyesi who seemed a little distracted.
"What's wrong?" Ning asked.
"No-nothing. I'm fine," Hyesi replied in the most obvious manner.
"Tell me what you're thinking?" Ning asked.
"Bright Inikaka, you told me you would give me strength in 6 days, yet it has already been 7 days. I am started to doubt your words now." Due to Ning's 24 hour penalty, he wasn't able to do the same task starting at the same time the next day.
So, inevitably, it had been pushed back a few days, since most of the time, the fire burned till the night, and Hyesi had to return home by then.
"It's okay. I just… uh… I overestimated how good you were. But you were really weak so I had to increase your tasks by a few more days."
Hyesi started to get gloomy when he heard that. Everyone called him weak in the village and now even his own god was starting to do so.
Ning saw his gloomy face and immediately spoke, "That does not mean you will forever remain weak, however. I will make you stronger starting tomorrow morning. Count on your god's words."
Hyesi's face returned back to normal. "Yes, bright Inikaka." He proceeded to do the task that he had been accustomed to for the last 8 days.
Ning however, opened his status to check how close he was. 'Status'
[Status
Name: Ning Ruogong
Energy: 20,468,285
Skills: Simultaneous Thinking, Basic Map, Beginner's Klavis Language, Candle Fire
]
Ning smiled as he saw that he had less than 2 million energy required to reach the 22 million to unlock the Yin to heat transformation skill.
"Here we go Hyesi. Starting tomorrow, you will start getting ridiculously strong."

Science fiction elements won't be introduced for quite some time. I currently update my work at a rate of one chapter per week. I'm also in the process of editing chapters 1 - 7, changing the format to make it more readable, and introducing more show and less tell. The reworked chapters will have (edited) after the title. All chapters after 8 have already been written in the new style. I have a Patreon page if you wish to donate. Also, there will be intense situations, some explicit violence, and although it is not an erotic work, one or two sex scenes.
