Global Online Survival Chapter 27

With a ship, Ye Jun could get a good, restful night's sleep every night.
When he slept on the raft before, the sun shone on his butt every day at dawn, forcing him to get up.
Now, he could finally sleep till he woke up naturally every day!
Ye Jun lay on the bed and turned his neck, hearing the sound of cracking bones. Feeling rejuvenated, he climbed up contentedly.
The first thing he did after waking up every day was to check in.
"Checked in successfully, received "Magical Pet Rations".
Magical Pet Rations: pet rations developed by the Pet Aliens to improve a pet's attributes and intimacy. It is rich in various trace elements to greatly improve a pet's attributes; no pet can refuse this temptation.
Ye Jun looked at the jar of what seemed like dog food in front of him and was somewhat speechless.
He kept checking in to useless things these past few days.
He opened the jar and a strange aroma dispersed a mouth-watering smell.
"This food, can people eat it?" Ye Jun was somewhat curious.
Forcing down the thoughts in his mind, Ye Jun cooked himself breakfast and ate to his heart's content, and sure enough, he only had those strange, weird thoughts just now because he was too hungry.
Ye Jun took the Magical Pet Rations to the stern of the ship.
With no other pets on board, this electric ray would be a good subject to experiment with.
Ye Jun pinched a thumb-sized piece of pet food that looked like dog food and threw it into the electric ray's mouth.
Immediately, the originally irritable electric ray surprisingly became obedient and looked at Ye Jun anxiously, as if it still wanted another piece.
'It really is magical!'
Ye Jun went up and touched it, and now instead of electrocuting him, the electric ray seemed to wag its tail at Ye Jun like a puppy.
'Oh no!'
'That's not good!'
'I raised you to electrocute me, not to be a dog!'
Ye Jun kicked it!
Crackle…
The electric ray discharged a string of lightning that numbed Ye Jun.

'Refreshing!'
Ye Jun let out a long breath and smiled with satisfaction.
'That's more like it.'
Everything had its own purpose. This electric ray should be discharging electricity and not act like a dog.
Satisfied, Ye Jun returned to the deck, filled the furnace with firewood, and put the iron ores in to smelt.
At this moment, the notification bell from the trading channel rang.
"Your friend Yang Tianxing has sent you 50 cubic meters of wood!"
Ye Jun took a look and good lord…
It was at most ten in the morning judging by the sun, yet this guy had already cut down 50 cubic meters of wood?
He was like a human-shaped harvester!
With this amount of strength to chop wood, the day the game was discontinued, he could make a million yuan a year just by working at construction sites and moving bricks.
Ye Jun didn't know that after awakening the Barbarian Blood yesterday, Yang Tianxing hadn't slept all night. The blood in his body was boiling, and having no place to exert his strength, he simply chopped wood all night.
It just so happened that Ye Jun was running low on wood, and now that he was running his forge every day, he was consuming a lot of wood, and these woods just happened to resolve this pressing need.
He replied to Yang Tianxing with a grin.
Ye Jun started the day's hunt.
He hadn't leveled up in two days.
Ye Jun didn't want to waste the time in between melting ores.
Ye Jun moved a bucket of shark blood from the cabin and poured it into the sea.
Then he hooked up some shark guts to the fishing rod.
After two days, the guts of these sharks were a little stinky and didn't really taste good.
But the stench and the smell of blood were a deadly temptation to carnivorous fish.
Ye Jun remembered as a kid that he loved to use stinky chicken guts to catch catfish, and he had always caught a ton.
Within moments, a school of groupers was drawn over.
Ye Jun flung his arms and a grouper that was around ten catties flew onto the deck.

The grouper was flopping around on the deck, but Ye Jun was in no hurry to deal with it, as he would kill them together later.
This was the thing about fishing; when there was no fish, half the time there would be no movement, and when there was fish, they would come one after the other and fight to bite the hook.
Soon, there were more than twenty groupers strewn across Ye Jun's deck.
The largest one was probably over a 100 catties. It took Ye Jun some effort to pull it up.
The groupers were swept away by Ye Jun and the water settled.
Ye Jun wasn't in a hurry, as the fact that the small fish weren't causing a ruckus meant that a big fish was coming.
As expected, in the time it took to finish a cigarette, Ye Jun's fishing rod suddenly sank until it was pulled into the shape of a crescent moon, with the line wildly flinging around.
"Here comes a big guy!" Ye Jun stood up abruptly, excited.
Zizi…
The fishing line made a harsh sound. It felt as if a kitten was scratching his heart.
Ye Jun took a horse stance, wrapped his arms around the fishing rod tightly, and stomped his foot on the guardrail. He was almost pulled down into the sea by the huge force.
The line was dragged out a few dozen meters before a large fish finally showed its head on the surface of the water in the distance.
"Tuna!"
A hint of surprise flashed in Ye Jun's eyes.
This was good stuff, some rare stuff!
Ye Jun could handle this fish with his current physical capabilities. If it was the time when the game first started, he truly couldn't handle such a big fish!
It took a great deal of effort. Ye Jun turned the tuna on its belly before hooking the tail, preparing to haul the fish on deck.
Just then, a large mouth rushed out and bit off the tuna's head in one bite.
A great white shark that had been in ambush for a while couldn't resist charging out at this point.
Ye Jun snatched back most of the tuna in a flurry, but the head of the tuna was gone.
Several great white sharks emerged from the sea one after another, being attracted by the smell of blood.
These great white sharks were the overlords of the ocean, and with almost no natural enemies, they were boldly swimming around the ship and competing for the meat in the sea.
'How dare you rob me?'
'You're really tired of living!'
It wasn't Ye Jun's first time hunting sharks, and he hadn't been afraid of them for a long time.
These sharks were nothing more than a bunch of EXP and poor-tasting fish meat in his eyes.
Ye Jun had long prepared his tools, so he drew his bow and shot an arrow.
The barbed arrow pierced through the fin, piercing the shark so hard that it was hard for it to break free.
After a successful shot, Ye Jun shot another arrow through another shark.
The few shark hunts had given him experience with sharks now.
In just ten minutes, all six sharks were dead!
"Killed a great white shark (level 5) +50 EXP."
"Killed a great white shark (level 5) +50 EXP."
…
"Killed a great white shark (Level 5) ….Earned the title Shark Terrorizer +55 EXP…"
'Shark Terrorizer?'
Ye Jun opened the attribute panel.
Player Ye Jun (Death Mode).
Titles Obtained:
Shark Terrorizer: a title earned because you hunted too many sharks and gave the shark species some serious psychological trauma. Killing sharks gives you ten percent more EXP. It also provides you with a natural suppressive force against all shark species.
'Awesome!'
'The sharks are the overlords of the ocean, and I've killed them to the point of racial fear so quickly!'
'At this point, I'll be the king of the ocean!'
Ye Jun was carrying a harpoon, high-spirited!

The Head That Wears The Crown
It's a tale as old as time. Boy goes to funeral. Boy gets sucked into a different world. Boy has to lead a settlement. Boy has to lead a settlement? Boy has to lead a settlement. This is a story about that settlement, and some other stuff. Maybe. Disclaimer: Not sure if it qualifies enough for a gore tag. There is a description of someone's death somewhere in this, but I don't think it is descriptive enough to justify a gore tag. Disclaimer part deux: I initially started writing this as background for another story but got so into it I just ended fleshing it out a bit. Disclaimer part tres: People love reading disclaimers don't they? It's why I've included so many. They're just for you. Disclaimer part four: I know, this is getting egregious. You're starting to find it less funny. Just wait till the twentieth disclaimer, it will start being funny again. Disclaimer part five: I'm kidding, this is the last one. I don't promise I'll read every comment or message, but I certainly welcome your feedback. Disclaimer part six: I lied, it wasn't the last one. I wrote this story without breaking it down into chapters. It just goes, that means that the chapter ends when it ends, not when there is a convenient break in the story. That means that it's very annoying for you as a reader since chapters can end mid sentence. Hah! Sucker! Disclaimer part seven: Get ready for slow updates. Who knows when this will continue. Toss it on read later and come back in fifty years. Disclaimer part eight: Cover Photo by Arthur Ogleznev on Unsplash
