Global Online Survival Chapter 19

Day five!
Weather: light rain, southeastern winds.
Breakfast: mushroom stew with grouper, two chicken eggs, unfortunately, no tea leaves, can't cook tea eggs (heartbroken o(╥_╥)o).
Ye Jun grabbed a pen to record his current situation.
Now that he was floating alone on the sea, he had to find something for himself to do.
It was good to write a diary whenever he had the time, but of course, he couldn't write down what he truly thought; after all, maybe one day his diary would be taken as a biography of a famous person and be studied by someone.
After writing in his diary, Ye Jun began to build a canopy for the raft.
Fortunately, he built a small cabin on the raft yesterday, which served as shelter from the wind and rain. Otherwise, the wood would all be soaked today and the fire couldn't be lit.
However, rainwater was still seeping through the cracks in the cabin so it needed some improvement.
Ye Jun opened the parachute he had caught yesterday, removed the rope and parachute cloth, and covered the cabin.
Then on the trade channel, for a pound of fish, some banana leaves were traded. Once all that was done, a simple defensive canopy was made.
The fireplace and wood were transferred inside the log cabin, which was already packed.
Ye Jun could only stay on the raft and fish, but luckily he was now in such good health that this little rain wouldn't make him sick
"Check-in!"
Ye Jun opened with the check-in for today.
Now, the most important thing every day was to check-in.
"Ding! Checked in successfully! Congratulations to the host, you've received a freshwater purifier!"
A two-foot-tall, cylindrical object appeared.
"Small Freshwater Purifier: can purify 1 liter of seawater per hour!"
Potable water was the most important resource at sea—it was even more precious than food.
Although it was convenient for Ye Jun to trade water with other players, it was best to keep the initiative in his own hands.
This small freshwater purifier could purify one liter of water an hour. It would mean it could purify more than twenty liters a day; it was totally enough for Ye Jun to use.

Now, there was no need to depend on someone else for freshwater.
Ye Jun started fishing, as usual.
He cast the hook out and let it go with the current.
Then opened the chat channel to see the status of the other players.
"How are you guys doing now? It's day five and I'm feeling pretty good about the days. Still not enough food but much better than working overtime every day like before. I'm now free to do whatever I want."
"Fine. I'm used to being hungry!"
"I found a squirrel nest with dozens of catties of nuts in it. I'll be good for a while!"
"I can fish here, but unfortunately I don't have money to buy a fishing net!"
"I'm so envious. I'm chopping wood. I want to trade Almighty Ye for fish!"
"I'm also gathering firewood and plan to trade it with the Almighty Ye for some food. Not much can be exchanged, but it's the safest way for me to go."
"I also want to, but unfortunately the food Almighty Ye brings out every time is traded too quickly!
"Only a fool would work for the one surnamed Ye. A cubic meter of wood for a catty of fish meat is not enough for a meal. The one surnamed Ye is even more black-hearted than capitalists…" someone said gloomily.
"Can the one upstairs be of great kindness and do something to contribute by selling your food to everyone cheaply?" replied Ye Jun suddenly. "At the price you sell one catty of food, I'll sell ten catties cheaper than you by half."
As a result, this person immediately disappeared.
Generous with the resources of others, but stingy when it was theirs…
There would always be this kind of person in the world.
Ye Jun's presence stirred up many replies.
"Almighty Ye! Almighty Ye has appeared!"
"Almighty Ye, the food you traded is too little, can you get more? I have plenty of wood here!"
"Almighty Ye, what are you missing? I'll see if I have any here."

"Almighty Ye, do you want more mushrooms? I have a lot of mushrooms here. I'm sick of it. I want to eat meat!"
"I have apples here, can Almighty Ye give me some meat in exchange?"
"Yes!"
Ye Jun replied seriously.
Then, he took out a portion of the food and exchanged it for some fruit, wild vegetables, asparagus, mushrooms, and the like.
It was good to have lobster and abalone every day, but it was also good to have some delicacies grown in the mountains.
Finally, Ye Jun left a message saying, "I will take out as much food as possible to trade every day. And I'm buying fine ship wood."
After doing this, Ye Jun closed the channel.
It was better to rely on oneself than to rely on others. This survival game's purpose was all about improving the players' ability to survive.
The contribution Ye Jun could make alone was insignificant.
Besides, his safety was not guaranteed right now.
It was raining at the sea, and who knew when a violent storm would come. His little raft was still unreliable so he had built a ship soon.
Ye Jun sent his doll down into the sea to search for supplies, while, with the help of the magical fishing rod, he kept fishing, farming monsters, and then exchanging fish for supplies.
It rained for three days, and for these three days, Ye Jun had managed to catch several hundred catties of fish every day, but the EXP that could be gained by killing ordinary fish was already very low.
Ye Jun had to have the doll search the bottom of the sea for special fish, or high-level wild monsters.
"Ding! Killed sea turtle (level 2), +5 EXP, +1 Hunter Level, +10 Endurance, +10 Speed, +50 Strength."
Ye Jun casually knocked a large sea turtle to death with a stick. Suddenly, he heard the sound of him leveling up.
Ye Jun opened the attribute panel.
His current attributes were:
Player Ye Jun (Death Mode).
Titles Obtained:
Beginner Flame Controller. Fire Energy Level: 2 (190/200)
Flame Affinity: 10 (You can absorb 10 points of Fire Energy per day.)
Beginner Hunter. Hunter Level: 4 (2/400)
Beginner Lightning Controller. Lightning Level: 1 (22/100)
Lightning Affinity: 10.
Skill: Fireball
Skill: Palm Thunder
Endurance: 110, Speed: 110, Strength: 302.
After three days of killing hundreds of fish, he finally reached level four.
Ye Jun walked to the end of the raft and yanked up a rope from the sea.
It was the parachute rope. At the other end, a two-meter-long electric ray was tethered in the water.
Provoked, the electric ray discharged desperately.
The electric current was enough to knock out a grown man.
But Ye Jun was now a Lightning Mage so these electrical currents became his sustenance instead.
"Absorbed electricity, +5 Electrical Energy."
The doll encountered this electric ray the day before yesterday at the bottom of the sea. At that time, Ye Jun was ecstatic to find it, and he commanded the doll to directly capture this electric ray alive.
Ye Jun didn't kill the electric ray immediately, but raised it and turned it into a living eco-charger.
It could discharge two or three times a day to replenish Ye Jun's Electrical Energy and help Ye Jun cultivate his thunder spells.
He fed the drained electric ray some fish and threw it into the sea again.
Ye Jun fished out the Strange Fire Coral from the fireplace, plucked a Fire Energy Bead, and consumed it.
"Ding! Absorbed 10 points of Fire Energy, +1 Fire Energy Level, +10 Strength, Fire Energy Level 3."
In Ye Jun's constantly burning furnace, the Strange Fire Coral provided a Fire Energy Bead almost every day.
Finally, his Fire Energy Level was raised by one level.
On top of that, the strange Withered Blood Tree had been continuously watered with blood for the past few days. Surprisingly, it had come back to life, and on this day, the glow of blood flickered, as if there was a surprise to be born.

# The Gemstone of Ominium 2 - Pain
Her unfazed expression didn’t even waver when the blade of her thin sword pierced one of the men all the way through armor, flesh and bone, a gurgling sound bubbling from his throat. With a kick she mercilessly pushed him back, freeing her blade, and glanced down at his dead body sprawled at her feet, confirming that death had indeed taken him. Stepping over the dead man’s body as if it were a mere pebble on her path, she raised her head just in time to see her second attacker lunge at her and, nimbly turning on her heels, she slit his throat. A spray of hot, sticky blood hit her left cheek and slid down her neck, but she didn’t even blink. The scent of the fresh blood filled her nostrils and her brain like an inebriating drug and she stepped forward once again, lightly turning to one side to avoid being decapitated and quickly returning the favor. One by one the men kept falling as she advanced, victims of her lethal, almost mechanical movements, as if she’d been born with a sword in hand and ready to kill …* This is a direct continuation of Book 1 - Denial.
