Global Online Survival Chapter 11

Ye Jun didn't know that he had spurred Master Ed's competitiveness.
He was checking the trading messages at the moment.
The flow of messages had not stopped since he put up the electric ray meat on the trading channel; there were already thousands of them in just a few minutes.
Still, most of them were just ordinary items that were far from what he wanted, and many of them were even spam.
"Add me to watch films…"
F**k…
What era is this, there are still these kinds of messages.
Ye Jun didn't hesitate to blacklist those doggoned scammers.
He then scrolled down through hundreds of messages in one go but didn't see any exotic items like the Strange Fruit Tree.
Out of despair…
He decided to change the trade announcement a bit, setting it to auto-trade.
"Trading electric ray meat, 20 copper coins a catty. If you have rare items, you can send photos to discuss in detail. Other harassment messages will get you blacklisted and I'll never trade with you again."
That message immediately scared off a lot of people who wanted to try their luck.
After all, Ye Jun was currently recognized as a super survivalist with too many goodies, so who knew if they would need him in the future? It would be too bad to get blacklisted and offend a super player.
Tens of thousands of miles away in a tropical wilderness—a young white man wiped the sweat from his forehead and sent a message to Ye Jun once again.
That person was Master Bear, who had sent Ye Jun many messages earlier, all of which had been drowned out.
No one else had eaten wild monsters, but Master Bear had hunted and killed a lot of them in the past two days, so why didn't eating wild monster meat have any effect on him?
Was it because of the low level of his prey, or was it that only the bosses would produce effects?
Maybe, it was time to talk to that player named Ye Jun!
Master Bear had always been indifferent to other players and was focused on just hunting and leveling up, having risen to level two just on the third day.
But he then realized he wasn't the only strong player in terms of survival; some were even stronger than him. Besides, there were many things that they couldn't figure out by simply burying their heads in their work.
"Ding! Player Ike (wilderness mode) purchased two catties of fish meat. The transaction was successful, and you've received 40 copper coins!

"Ding! Player Song Mingqing (deserted island mode) purchased five catties of fish meat. The transaction was successful, and you've received 100 copper coins!"
"Ding! Player Luo Han (rainforest mode) purchased 50 catties of fish meat. The transaction was successful, and you've received 1000 copper coins!"
All of them traded using copper coins; there weren't any rare items. After all, the other players weren't fools; although they still didn't know the specific use of some rare items, that which was rare was worth more; no one would be willing to use them for trade if they weren't in a desperate situation.
Ye Jun was slightly surprised, so he kept note of that player called Luo Han.
If this person can get 1000 copper coins at this stage, it means that he had at least hunted a thousand catties worth of prey. I just don't know whether he hunted small animals or big game. If it's the latter, the strength of this person shouldn't be underestimated.
It's just that… How come I've never heard an announcement about this person before?
Could it be another scheming old c*nt?
After all, not everyone would choose to announce their identities.
Still, Ye Jun was a bit at a loss. There wasn't much competition in such a survival game. Was there a need to play dirty?
Just then, a message shook Ye Jun's heart.
"Player Bear, (wilderness mode) purchased forty catties of fish meat. You've received 800 copper coins and a friend request!"
Master Bear wants to add me as a friend?
Ye Jun was kind of excited!
He was a big fan of shows like Man vs. Wild and Hostile Planet and had fantasized countless times that he was following Master Bear on his travels, but he never thought that the man himself would take the initiative to add him as a friend.
Accept!
Immediately, a familiar face appeared on the chat channel.
"Hello! Dear Mr. Ye! I'm Bear!"
Bell was very polite and made his intentions clear.
"You're willing to trade the bronze armor for fish?" Ye Jun was a little surprised.
Equipment was an extremely valuable thing at the moment.
Defensive equipment like bronze armor was a hot item; it could greatly improve the chances of survival.
"I know that equipment is precious, but defensive armor is not very useful to me. It will be much easier for me to hunt alligators if I can get a lot of fish to boost my strength. Maybe there's a chance that I can hunt that alligator king!"

"You have a boss there?" Ye Jun narrowed his eyes, calculating in his mind.
After hunting a boss, Ye Jun knew full well of the tremendous benefits that could come from hunting bosses.
Perhaps a different deal could be made!
Ye Jun said, "I can find enough fish for you. I don't need the bronze armor for now, but I would like to have the first pick if you hunt the alligator boss and get equipment or skill books I can use!"
"What if no equipment or skill books suitable for you are dropped?"
"You can give me the bronze armor then, or, after hunting the boss, exchange it with the corresponding bronze coins!"
"You trust me so much that you're not afraid I'll turn against you?" asked Bear, somewhat incredulous.
"Just because you're Bear!"
If it was any other person, Ye Jun might not have trusted the other party to such a degree.
But, after all, Bear was a world-class celebrity. Unless he didn't mind that his reputation went down in flames.
It was early in the game; Ye Jun believed that the other party would prefer not to screw up his good name over a little fish.
"Mr. Ye, your trust is greatly appreciated, and I, Bear, will make a pact with you and give you the first pick after hunting the boss!"
Ye Jun smiled!
This was a done deal!
All it cost Ye Jun was some fish meat.
There was probably no shortage of boss-level fish meat in the ocean.
Ye Jun directly transferred a hundred catties of fish meat to Bear with a wave of his hand.
Aside from what was traded to others, there were less than a hundred catties of fish left from over three hundred catties of meat.
Ye Jun redirected the doll to jump into the sea and start searching for prey, while he threw out his fishing rod at the same time!
Yang Tianxing sent another message at that moment.
"Brother Ye, are there any more fish? I want to buy some!"
Yang Tianxing had just caught more than twenty catties of fish with his fishing that day and the group was feeling amazing, thinking that it was too good a deal to have exchanged twenty cubic meters of wood for a fishing net. They would have fish to eat every day in the future.
They didn't expect that high-level fish meat could boost the Strength stat.
Still, they had only gotten 20 copper coins for the 20 catties of fish, which was only enough to exchange for a catty of Ye Jun's fish meat.
"Brother Ye, I netted fish today and got a shell; there was a glowing pearl inside, so give me an estimate to how many catties of fish meat it would be worth."
The whole group was apprehensive at this time. They were in an anxious mood after Yang Tianxing finished his request, and could only wait for Ye Jun's reply.
They really didn't have much hope in their minds.
High-grade fish meat was too precious.
The glowing pearl they had fished out would have fetched a sky-high price in peaceful times, but now, it was not as good as a catty of fish meat.
Glowing Pearl: illumination range, 20 meters.
Ye Jun's breathing quickened when he saw that message.
Isn't this just what I need right now?
The doll couldn't see anything when it dove to the bottom of the sea; that Glowing Pearl would be of great help when searching for things in the deep waters.
"I can give you fifty catties of fish meat," said Ye Jun.
Yang Tianxing's squad saw the message and all their eyes widened in disbelief. They were a little giddy with happiness.
They didn't expect Ye Jun to be so generous, directly giving them fifty catties of fish meat.
"Brother Ye, thank you so much. We simply can't repay you."
"This is just trading! This is useless to you guys, but it's important to me. I got the better end of the deal, to say the least. Feel free to tell me if you guys need anything else!" Ye Jun was very happy at the moment.
"Brother Ye, that doll of yours, can you give it to my big brother!" A clear and beautiful voice was suddenly heard on the call channel.
Yang Tianxing blushed and hurriedly chided, "Chengcheng, don't talk nonsense…"
Doll?
Ye Jun subconsciously shook his head and said, "I'm using the doll now; I can't give it to you guys!"
"Ahem…"
"Brother Ye, we'll let you do your thing. I'll hang up now!" Yang Tianxing hung up the call right away.
Ye Jun froze; he suddenly had a bad feeling…
These guys, they didn't misunderstand, right?

{The Dragon Within} (Completed)
Meeting his fate at the hands of seven great heroes, the wicked drake now stands in Death's hall. Met with the Grim Reaper itself. Defeated and its pride broken, the drake doesn’t beg or grovel, it simply awaits judgement. It waits for the God of the afterlife to send it on its way, to either the heights of bliss and peace or where it knew it would be sent. The depths of agony and torture, the halls of Tartarus, the father of monsters. Grim looked up from its oaken desk and down at the creature that would have otherwise, if grown wiser and older, matched the reaper itself in power. Its faceless guise, hidden by a black hood and whirling shadows, it briefly stared at the drake. “You are unfit for the sky yet also too fit for the abyss,” Grim spoke, its voice a cracking whisper. “Your time came too soon, the actions you have taken will lead your world to ruin…Be reborn, pitiful serpent. Yet remember what you have done, see what your actions have made that realm into. Let me show you, how your greed and gluttony have warped such a wonderful place and time.” Grim raised its black-feathered pen towards the beast “Be reborn, as the weak pitiful creature you should have been born as. Take this both as a punishment and…a learning experience. For failure, can be the best teacher.” The drake took a step back, hoping to escape this cruel fate. Yet none escaped Death, less so its embodiment. Screaming shadows engulfed his form, ripping away at his body and shape. Fangs of darkness sinking deep into his draconic flesh, warping it, changing him into something else… Opening his eyes, the wicked drake felt none of its power, none of its magic and none of its might. As it stood at the edge of a cliff, looking down upon a ruined valley of rot and miasma. It glanced down at itself, seeing none of its sturdy scales or sharp claws. The drake had been reborn... As a Human. Will also be posting on CreativeNovels found here; CrN Where chapters will be posted earlier than RRL.

Chronicles of Xod (returning from hiatus)
After a long recovery over a chronic motion sickness issue, I feel I'm ready to return to writing this book. It might be slow at first, but I'm hoping to pick up where I left off. I apologize again for the long hiatus. The pages following are a true account. An account of how I, Josh--a teenage nerd from modern suburbia--ended up in a strange world filled with fantastic magic, bizarre creatures, and terrifying dungeons. Despite the troped-up fantasy feel of the world, this is hardly an ordinary tale. For one, don’t expect a happy ending. With the trials I’ve been through, the horrors I’ve seen and the atrocities I’ve committed, believe me when I tell you, this is not a happy tale filled with friendly rainbow bears or teenage flying unicorns. It’s more likely you’ll finish this book mentally scarred as I will not spare the details of my unfortunate adventures. With the help of my trusted companion Gui, I gain an insight that no one else in the world has. This knowledge allows me to exploit and, for lack of a better term, metagame the system which gave me a clear advantage over its residents. “With great power...,” someone might begin to quote to me. In my defense, I think maybe even you, reader, might have acted similarly with how this reality changed my view of good and evil. This story will be updated regularly on Wednesdays around 6 PM. There will only be about 1000 words per update. The focus is to finish the story before doing any major changes or editing. Please read as if this is a work in progress, not a finished product. Feel free to let me know if you see any error, whether glaring or minor. If you help me out, I'll be sure to add you to a thank you list at the front of the book when it is published. Chronicles of Xod is a first-person fantasy novel that follows the adventures of a young man from Earth. Through unknown circumstances, he finds himself in a fantasy world where life is not all wonders and happy endings. The story takes common fantasy concepts from my favorite video games, books and movies and gives them an adult edge. It also introduces some taboo concepts often glossed over by stories written for broad audiences. The style is meant to be immersive and heavily detailed. The short novel will be written in a way that attempts to bring a sense of realism to an unrealistic genre. Where there are realistic consequences and dangers in a world populated with violent monsters, cruel demons, bloodthirsty undead, and immoral bandits. In this fantasy world, the inhabitants are essentially gender blind as far as sexuality is concerned. There is also more variation amongst male and female physiology. This isn't meant to be any kind of promotion or demotion of social behavior in reality. Just a concept I thought would be an interesting idea to have in a fantasy setting. I highly discourage anyone from reading this material if you are personally concerned with being offended or traumatized. Both violent and sexual content will be graphically detailed. All characters involved in sexual scenes are mature and of the age of consent(18+).
