Another World’s Versatile Crafting Master Chapter 899

Chapter 899: An Endless Stream
Actually, it wasn’t that strange. Iceblast Wyrm Sindera was a powerful presence just below the Dragon Aspects. Thus, Brahere wouldn’t ignore the value of its blood. After converting Sindera’s body into an Undead creature, it would be wasteful to leave the dragon’s blood in its body too.
Lin Li had been thinking what kind of blood he could get for Norfeller in order to help him break through the bottleneck. Wouldn’t Sindera’s blood essence be perfect? However, Norfeller wasn’t strong enough to absorb this blood essence directly now. Lin Li still needed to modify it a bit after returning to the Tower of Dusk.
Other than the bottle of Iceblast Wyrm blood essence, Lin Li didn’t take anything else. After all, all the magical crystals and materials here were too low-level to Lin Li.
After a day of searching, the expedition finally left the mausoleum. Although each faction had suffered quite a bit of loss during this expedition, the benefits they had gotten at the end of the day were still much greater than what they had lost.
When the team had exited the Gargas Grand Canyon, Iceblast Wyrm Sindera suddenly appeared in the sky of the canyon. Its body accelerated and it released the terrifying ice flame dragon breath before smashing into the ruins deep in the canyon.
With continuous thuds, the team standing on the cliffs of the Grand Canyon felt violent tremors, as if the entire canyon would collapse at any moment. When everything was over, the canyon seemed to have been broadened. Although they couldn’t see what had happened inside the canyon from here, they could imagine that the ruins would have been destroyed.
After destroying Brahere’s mausoleum, Iceblast Wyrm Sindera had finally taken his revenge. He flapped his wings and flew towards the Tower of Dusk’s team.
Seeing that Sindera didn’t leave immediately, Lin Li used the Power of Flight and flew towards him.
“Human, you’ve helped me escape from Brahere’s imprisonment. Although you’ve reached the Sanctuary-realm because of that, that is your own gain. We wyrms are never forgetful and unappreciative creatures. If you happen to need help someday, blow this horn flute and I will fight for you once. However, you need to remember that I’ll do it only once!” Before Lin Li could react, Iceblast Wyrm Sindera dropped a glittering, translucent horn flute that looked like ice, and left this canyon by tearing apart space.
Although Iceblast Wyrm Sindera had left, the shock he had brought to the team wasn’t over. What he had said to Lin Li using the common language had clearly been heard by the rest of the team too, and scared all of them.
It was already very formidable that Lin Li had stepped into the Sanctuary-realm. Now, Sindera even promised to fight for Lin Li once. Everyone knew that Sindera was at the peak of the Sanctuary-realm and a step into divinity already. He was only second to the five Dragon Aspects.
Although it was only one chance to summon Sindera, Lin Li could easily defeat any opponent below Sanctuary-level given that he had already reached the Sanctuary-realm. As for the Sanctuary masters, they would probably not be mad to challenge another Sanctuary master. Thus, rather than a chance to summon Sindera, it was more apt to call it a weapon to instill fear. As long as Lin Li didn’t use it, the deterrent force would be there.

Lin Li kept the Icy Horn Flute away, and returned to the Tower of Dusk’s team. Claus and Joseph immediately rushed over to discuss collaboration with Lin Li. They didn’t just want a normal collaboration, but a collaboration on all fronts, almost to the extent of subordinating themselves to the Tower of Dusk.
With Lin Li’s power now and his relationship with the Ashen Warlock, no one would be able to stop him even if he wanted to rule the entire Breezy Plains. However, Lin Li didn’t wish for that. While it might sound cool, what was the use of it? For Lin Li, that would be totally meaningless, and only add more trouble for him.
What Lin Li hoped for was similar to the Ashen Warlock—to maintain a peaceful environment in the Breezy Plains. That was probably the Supreme Council’s wish too.
However, what Lin Li thought differently from the Ashen Warlock was that he wanted not only peace, but also for the other factions to acknowledge allegiance and show enough respect to the Tower of Dusk, such that no one dared to challenge the Tower of Dusk’s dignity. The Tower of Dusk to the Breezy Plains should be like what the Supreme Council was to Anril, able to maintain a supreme position with absolute strength.
Thinking about it, the Supreme Council had only shown their hand less than 10 times since its establishment over 1,000 years ago. However, no faction had ever dared to challenge its authority since it had been established. Even the Guilds of Magic under the Supreme Council also possessed unquestionable authority in their respective territories unless they had declined to the extent of the Jarrosus Guild of Magic.
After the expedition had returned to the Breezy Plains, the four factions went their separate ways, and Lin Li brought the Tower of Dusk’s team back to Doland directly. Lin Li was still quite a distance away from stabilizing his strength, even though he had spent half a day reading the Book of Eternity back in the mausoleum to stabilize his realm. He still required a deeper understanding of the Sanctuary-realm and to completely master Sanctuary strength in order to match the abilities of other Sanctuary masters.
While Lin Li was consolidating his findings, the news that he had reached the Sanctuary-realm spread fast among the other factions. It was already shocking news that a new Sanctuary powerhouse was born. The fact that this new Sanctuary powerhouse was the young President of the Tower of Dusk made it more shocking.
Not a single person or faction could underestimate a Sanctuary powerhouse. The Tower of Dusk in the Breezy Plains was already a top-level faction. Now that its young President had reached the Sanctuary-realm, it would make the Tower of Dusk the most powerful faction in the Breezy Plains.
With a Sanctuary powerhouse, the distance between the original four most powerful factions in the Breezy Plains and the Tower of Dusk just became even larger. Unless they could produce a Sanctuary powerhouse too, there would be no way to narrow that gap.
This news had shocked everyone from the utmost north to the utmost south of the Breezy Plains. Those factions who had collaborations with the Tower of Dusk naturally wanted to deepen their relationship. On the other hand, those that had been in rivalry with the Tower of Dusk were shaking with fear now. They would do whatever it took to improve their relationship so that the Tower of Dusk wouldn’t deal with them someday.

Doland was suddenly bustling with activity. An endless stream of people was coming up to the doors of the Tower of Dusk. Some were here to congratulate, some were here to apologize, and others came to talk about a more comprehensive collaboration. The plaza in front of the Tower of Dusk was even more bustling than a market at the moment. If not for the fact that the Tower of Dusk had been built with sturdy materials, it would have collapsed by holding so many people.
Of course, most people doubted the credibility of this news when they first heard it, even though the news came from the three biggest factions—the Mithril Alliance, Caesar Family, and Glittergold Trade Union. It was already shocking for a 20-plus-year-old mage to be a Legendary powerhouse. Now that he had reached the Sanctuary-realm, that was just too heaven-defying! Even the God of Mages Geresco only stepped into the Sanctuary-realm when he was 30. How could this young President of the Tower of Dusk be even more talented than Geresco?
However, as the leaders of the three factions appeared in front of the doors of the Tower of Dusk with an extremely humble and respectful attitude, everyone had to believe that the news was true. After all, there was nothing for the factions to gain if they had put up a show. Moreover, the relationship between the Mithril Alliance and Tower of Dusk was so hostile to begin with.
Although Lin Li didn’t show up, the attitude of the top few factions had already proved the authenticity of the news.
As such, everyone held back their arrogance and pride when they came to the Tower of Dusk, and was respectful even to a mage apprentice of the Tower of Dusk, and didn’t dare to yell at them—not even those respectable chiefs and leaders who had considerable fame and status in the Breezy Plains.
Be it those who came for collaboration or apology, what everyone wanted to know the most urgently was what kind of attitude Lin Li held about the various factions now that he was a new Sanctuary powerhouse. Although there was already the Ashen Warlock who was a Sanctuary powerhouse before Lin Li, he didn’t have his own faction, and lived in solitude in Gran Town. As long as one didn’t disturb him, he would almost never intervene in any matters in the Breezy Plains.
However, Lin Li was certainly very different from the Ashen Warlock. Not only was he the Tower of Dusk’s President, he also possessed a powerful army of mages. This would be a lot for the other factions to worry. Given that the Tower of Dusk was already the Breezy Plains’ most powerful faction, now that it possessed a President who was a Sanctuary powerhouse, would he have the intention to sweep the entire Breezy Plains under his rule?
Nobody could answer this question now, not even the members of the Tower of Dusk. Not to mention those visitors, even the Tower of Dusk’s own people rarely saw Lin Li. He was all consumed with understanding the knowledge of the Sanctuary-realm. Where did he have the time to care about those thoughts other people had?
The Book of Eternity by the God of Mages, Geresco, recorded the precious experience this noblest mage to ever live in Anril had accumulated over his lifetime. These experiences might only serve as an example for others who had reached the Sanctuary-realm a long time ago, but they were extremely valuable for a newbie like Lin Li who had just stepped into the Sanctuary-realm.
For a Sanctuary master who had been in the Sanctuary-realm for many years, he would be on the path that he had chosen. However, Lin Li was now standing at the crossroad. Without the Book of Eternity, he would need very long to figure out which path was suitable for him. With the experiences from the Book of Eternity, however, he was guided to the broadest path he could go.
After finding his path, it only required him to take a step in that direction to stabilize his Sanctuary-level status. Thus, what Lin Li needed to do now was to take the first step since breaking through to the Sanctuary-realm with the help of the experiences and knowledge he had learned from the Book of Eternity.
This first step was crucial as it determined whether his Sanctuary path from now on would be smooth, and what would be the highest level of achievement he could get. Many Sanctuary powerhouses had spent 10 years or even more trying to calibrate the pros and cons of various paths before making their decision. Since the lifespan of Sanctuary powerhouses was prolonged by a lot, it was worth it to spend even 100 years on making this choice.
However, Lin Li only took five days to make the decision and take his crucial first step because he possessed the Book of Eternity. This first step meant that he had completely stabilized his status as a level-25 Sanctuary powerhouse, and was not just a lost Sanctuary-level newbie anymore.
However, Lin Li didn’t leave seclusion immediately after stabilizing his realm. What he needed now wasn’t just that. Back at the mausoleum, Brahere had told him that he would be able to find the Immortal King’s weapon at the location where the Tree of the World had collapsed with that Moonlight Scepter. That weapon he was talking about was very likely to be the Stars of Fury.
Could he really get the Stars of Fury so easily with the Moonlight Scepter? Lin Li didn’t dare to think this way.
Now, Lin Li had reached level-25, and it was hard to improve his abilities in a short amount of time. After all, the Sanctuary-realm was different from the Legendary-realm. Every increase in level would be much harder than the increase in Legendary-realm. However, it wasn’t so hard for Lin Li to purely increase his fighting strength. Although he didn’t possess the Stars of Fury, his understanding of the nomological power contained in the debris of the stars was much greater after he had reached the Sanctuary-realm. Thus, he could release a greater extent of their power.
As such, Lin Li focused on understanding the debris of the stars after stabilizing his foothold in the Sanctuary-realm. However, he didn’t just focus on Holy Light and Gloomy Dark, as his understanding of these two pieces now had already reached the threshold of his current abilities given that he had reached the Sanctuary-realm because of his understanding of the laws of these two in the first place. So, his focus now was on the other five pieces of debris of the stars.

Because KU requires exclusivity as part of their terms of service, I have had to pull the majority of the content from this site. I left the full novel up for as long as possible, so I hope everyone got a chance to read it. If you haven't had a chance to read it in its entirety (sorry!) you can pick it up on Amazon. Thanks again for coming on this journey with me, and I so hope you enjoyed it. The book will be out on Tuesday July 24th. Best, James Hunter
