Another World’s Versatile Crafting Master Chapter 893

Chapter 893: Which Direction To Go In?
Upon hearing that, Lin Li already had the mindset of a figure in the Sanctuary-realm. However, he could not help but feel his eyelids twitch. Although it turned out that there seemed to be some deviation in his translation of the text on the tomb, the place did not seem to be the place where the Immortal King slumbered. However, he wondered if the relic that the Immortal King had left to Brahere’s mother was the Stars of Fury that he had painstakingly been trying to find.
Of course, that possibility didn’t seem to be big. After all, the Stars of Fury was the weapon of the Immortal King, and Brahere’s mother was naturally the first-generation High Elven queen. Regardless of the relationship between them, she couldn’t possibly have used his own weapon as a gift. However, that resolved another doubt that Lin Li had. It was no wonder that the Immortal King would do everything he could to help the High Elves rise. It seemed that there was an ambiguous relationship between them.
“You’d better not even covet that relic. Brahere has arranged for three souls to guard the tomb and the relic for him. Although you’ve stepped into the Sanctuary-realm, meeting the three of them now will be courting death.” Due to the fact that it was a communication between their souls, Sindera easily noticed from Lin Li’s soul fluctuations that he had taken interest in that relic. Hence, he immediately warned him. “Although you helped to free me from imprisonment, I won’t give you any help regarding this matter. Although I didn’t suffer any loss in strength after I lost my body, that relic will cause great damage to my soul, and I won’t take the risk for you. You guys had better leave. That relic has no purpose for you humans.”
In Sindera’s eyes, Lin Li was a human who had just stepped into the Sanctuary-realm, and was still too weak. He was just like a newborn baby. Although he could be considered human[1], his power still couldn’t be compared to an adult’s. Hence, Sindera tried to persuade Lin Li to give up, and even cut off the possibility of giving him help.
Actually, Sindera was right. Lin Li had just entered the Sanctuary-realm, and had yet to fully familiarize himself with the power of the Sanctuary-realm. In terms of strength, he was still lagging far behind level-25 Sanctuary powerhouses who had entered the Sanctuary-realm years before.
However, Sindera had no idea that Lin Li still had the debris of the stars that contained the purest nomological power. Although he still hadn’t obtained the Stars of Fury, Lin Li’s control over the seven pieces of the debris of the stars had improved greatly after entering the Sanctuary-realm. Hence, although Lin Li could infer from Sindera’s words that the three souls guarding the mausoleum probably had Sanctuary-level power, he was not frightened.
“Thank you very much for your kindness, but I still hope that I can have a chance to enter the mausoleum to take a look,” Lin Li said firmly. Even though he felt that it was unlikely for the relic to be the Stars of Fury, he still did not want to give it up easily as long as there were clues related to the Immortal King.
Sindera could feel Lin Li’s determination from his soul fluctuations. Hence, he did not dissuade him any further, and simply said, “Alright, I can give you three days. After three days, I’ll freeze this place.”

In fact, if Lin Li had broached the topic when Sindera had just broken free, he probably wouldn’t have agreed to Lin Li’s request, because he seriously needed to immediately vent the anger that had been accumulated for thousands of years. However, watching Lin Li’s advancement to the Sanctuary-realm, Sindera’s emotions were placated, and he finally agreed to give him an allowance of three days.
After agreeing on the three-day time limit, Sindera didn’t wait for Lin Li to say anything else. He flapped his wings, and his huge body suddenly disappeared without a trace from the sky above the valley.
Seeing Sindera’s figure leave all of a sudden, the Legendary powerhouses around Lin Li finally breathed a sigh of relief. Although they didn’t know what Lin Li and Sindera talked about, it was clear that they should have overcome the obstacle. As soon as the peak-Sanctuary-level pressure vanished, everyone couldn’t help but feel weak. All the pores on their bodies opened at once, and sweat began to flow continuously.
Of course, there were also those who weren’t relaxed, like Joseph and the several patriarchs of the Mithril Alliance. To the others, the unparalleled Sanctuary-level enemy had left, but to them, it seemed like everything had just begun. Even though Lin Li had only just stepped into the Sanctuary-realm, they were certain that Lin Li definitely had the ability to destroy the Mithril Alliance.
“Master, congratulations for stepping into the Sanctuary-realm!” As soon as the Iceblast Wyrm Sindera left, Ujfalusi and Norfeller scurried towards Lin Li. Although one was a Lich with a stiff face, while the other was a Vampire who never smiled, there was immense joy written all over their faces.
“President Felic, congratulations on stepping into the Sanctuary-realm,” said Master Basel, who could not suppress his agitation even though he had always been calm and composed. Although he could already predict that Lin Li would one day step into the Sanctuary-realm based on his rate of progress, he had never expected that day to arrive so soon.
Sanctuary powerhouses were definitely existences who stood on the peak of Anril. Although they were still far from becoming gods and deities, they were no different from gods and deities in the eyes of many. Hence, the people of the Tower of Dusk were naturally the ones who were the happiest about Lin Li entering the Sanctuary-realm.
There was only a handful of genuine Sanctuary powerhouses in Anril, and each of them was considered a mythical figure who had a pivotal influence on the entire continent. Forces which had the support of Sanctuary powerhouses would undoubtedly have an extremely high status in the entire continent—such as the Brilliance Shrine and the Supreme Council. Everyone could completely imagine how no one would dare to offend or attack the Tower of Dusk again now that Lin Li had entered the Sanctuary-realm, for they were a force that would one day become a powerful one that everyone admired.
“Master Felic, congratulations! I never thought that we would have the honor of witnessing the emergence of a new Sanctuary powerhouse,” Hoffman said while walking towards Lin Li with the two major shareholders of the Glittergold Trade Union.
He was not exaggerating at all. In the last several hundred years, there had been no new Sanctuary powerhouse in Anril. Rodhart, who had caused bloodshed in the Breezy Plains, and Prophet Willen, who was known as the Son of The Holy Light, were the only ones. However, no one had had the privilege of seeing them step into the Sanctuary-realm with their own eyes.

“Yeah, Master Felic has entered the Sanctuary-realm at the young age of 20-something. This is unprecedented in Anril. His magical talent is so high that I’m afraid even Osric and Geresco cannot match up,” said Claus from the Caesar Family who also approached. They were no longer bothered about pride as they complimented Lin Li without hiding.
Seeing that Claus was sucking up to Lin Li shamelessly, the faces of Joseph and the people from the Mithril Alliance grew even more sullen. Clearly, it was no longer possible for them to expect the Caesar Family to side with them.
“Joseph, you were the one who insisted on attacking and suppressing the Tower of Dusk. You should think of where the Mithril Alliance should go from here,” said the patriarch of one of the families in the alliance, sounding extremely hostile. At the same time, his words also caused others to respond, and several patriarchs and elders of Joseph also began resenting him.
Damn it, now they’re blaming me and criticizing me. When things were going well, they were all so quick to attack! Although Joseph cursed in his heart, he knew that they had reached a critical moment for the survival of the Mithril Alliance, and one mistake would easily cause the Mithril Alliance to be wiped out from the Breezy Plains.
“Alright, you guys, cut it out. Joseph, now that they’ve all gone to congratulate the President, it won’t be appropriate for us to do nothing.” Elvis had a higher prestige, and he stopped all of them from accusing and blaming Joseph with just one sentence.
Joseph was also momentarily confused. When he heard Elvis’ reminder, he finally snapped back to reality. Although Lin Li might not care if they congratulated him or not, it would still be a good chance for easing relations.
However, Joseph was somewhat unable to swallow his pride despite knowing that it was something he had to do. After all, the relationship between the two factions had become strained to the point that it was impossible for them to reconcile. He didn’t know what Lin Li’s attitude would be like.
Joseph hesitated and did not act immediately. However, Li wouldn’t purposely wait for an opponent to come over and say something. After talking to Hoffman and the others, Lin Li said, “Sindera has only given us three days to explore. We’d better go see how the expedition team is doing down there. If no one has any other opinion, we’d better hurry up and finish this expedition.”
As soon as Joseph made up his mind and was about to go all out to swallow his pride to speak to Lin Li amicably, they actually turned around and returned to the canyon before he could make a move. Upon sight of that, Joseph was instantly stunned, and his expression became extremely sullen. In the end, he had no choice but to bring his people back to the canyon.
Ever since Sindera’s dragon soul was released, the Humerus Wyrms stopped moving entirely, and fortunately so. Otherwise, the entire expedition team would have been in a really dangerous situation. Although Lin Li and the rest had pestered Sindera, Sindera’s control over the Humerus Wyrms had not been affected at all.
Under Sindera’s command, the Humerus Wyrms strategically gave the expedition team more pressure, and they unknowingly separated the four teams. As soon as the teams dispersed, they gave the Humerus Wyrms more positions to attack, and while hundreds of Humerus Wyrms didn’t join the battle immediately, there were still at least 70-80 that did. If it weren’t for the timely appearance of Sindera’s dragon soul, every additional second of delay would have resulted in great losses for the expedition.
However, even so, the casualties of the expedition were extremely astonishing, and even the Tower of Dusk that had the Magic Net Mageweath array and the help of the two Legendary powerhouses[2] faced a crisis, let alone the other teams. The Glittergold Trade Union at least had the help of the Tower of Dusk. Although there were casualties among them as well, they were not severely damaged, unlike the other two teams.
In particular, the area that the Mithril Alliance was in looked extremely miserable as there were numerous Abyssal Demon corpses strewn around, and the Claw Demons were almost annihilated. Only less than 10 Blood-Flame Winged Serpents were left, and even half of the Abyssal Shield Demons that were only responsible for defense were destroyed. Even with the Abyssal Demons as cannon fodder, the casualties suffered by the Mithril Alliance were the greatest amongst the four teams.
When Lin Li and the others returned to the entrance of the canyon, there were no longer any Humerus Wyrms around the expedition team, except for some broken and useless Humerus Wyrm skeletons. They should have been the work of Sindera. As a proud ancient wyrm, Sindera definitely wasn’t willing to see his Humerus Wyrms continue being exploited by others. Fortunately, Sindera wasn’t too extreme. Otherwise, Lin Li’s Crimson Humerus Dragon and Ujfalusi’s Crimson Dragon would have been wiped out too.
Unfortunately, the power that allowed the Humerus Wyrms to move came from the Dragon Crystals in their bodies and the hundreds of Humerus Wyrms meant that there were hundreds of Legendary Dragon Crystals, yet the expedition apparently couldn’t salvage a single one. Although Legendary Dragon Crystals no longer mattered to Lin Li, they were treasures to the others. The team had suffered a huge loss, and yet they couldn’t gain anything at all. One could imagine how disappointed they all felt. They had definitely suffered huge losses during the battle.
After hurriedly bidding goodbye to Lin Li, Hoffman and Claus quickly returned to their own respective forces with their subordinates to deal with the aftermath of the battle. Even though Lin Li had stepped into the Sanctuary-realm, their forces still had to continue living. Besides, without sufficient strength, what right would they have to cooperate with a Sanctuary powerhouse?
On this side of the Tower of Dusk, Lin Li, Basel and the rest had just landed in front of the mages. As soon as they did, Alan, who was in command, welcomed them. After the battle in the canyon stopped, Alan and the others had noticed what was happening in the sky, but given the realm of their abilities, they were still unable to find out what had exactly happened. They merely managed to guess something which they dared not believe.
“President, have you…” Alan wanted to pop the question, but he dared not. He only managed to feel that his President seemed to be extremely different from before.
However, at this moment, Angelano had already put away the Alchemy Colossus, and was controlling the Alchemy machine that he used for transport, running towards them and swinging its head. He yelled in a sharp voice, “Alan, you’re such a fool. Do you really have to ask that? Your President is already in the Sanctuary-realm.”
[1] I guess this human means something like “not just an ant”.
[2] It was “Archmages”, but should be about the goblin dude and Alan.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.
