The Adventures Of The Young Master Chapter 571

"With this, our deal has come to an end." Jin Rou handed over the sleeping Baal to the demon queen and said, "This guy is weakened and will not be able to be stronger for the next generations so you can control him."
Demon Queen Tharis looked surprised and said, "I can just get him where you captured him. You don't need to personally come to me to give him."
She appeared embarrassed. Although she had a high status, she knew that her status was just like a tiny speck of dust in front of Jin Rou, unable to reach the great apex.
"It's nothing. I'm in a good mood, so this will do." Jin Rou smirked. In reality, he just wanted to check how good the Insignia Royal Family's security and if it'd he up for his standards. And just as he expected, it wasn't. Anyway, he didn't bother to mention this.
He paused for a moment before continuing, "Congratulations. With Baal being in this state, you will be the diplomatic leader of this place."
"Well, there are so many things to deal with so it's not easy." Demon Queen Tharis sighed. Only the first part of her plan was settled. There were so much to do yet. After all, her position wasn't stabilized yet so anything could happen.
"You have to prioritize gaining the masses' support. You can do easily do it by using Baal to expand and strength your position." Jin Rou gave an advice and said, "I have placed a restriction on Baal's soul and I made sure that he won't be able to retaliate, so you can make him do whatever you want him to do. Of course, you have to take it easy or else it will be detrimental for his cultivation."

"I understand, Young Master. This humble Queen is very grateful for your grace." The demon queen knelt down in gratitude. She knew that this would be the last time she'd see him so she did this, "I will never forget this. I will make sure that my future descendants will know you."
For the demon queen, Jin Rou was the greatest benefactor of their royal family and he deserved to be immortalized.
Jin Rou shook his head and sighed, "Rise. You don't have to do that. I'm nothing but a wanderer of this place. My home is not even part of this world."
"I know." The demon queen smiled wryly. She also speculated that Jin Rou wasn't someone from this place or outside.
"Since our ends have been settled, I'll be off now." Jin Rou didn't want to linger here anymore and bidded goodbye, "I hope you will be a great queen for the next generations."
"This is goodbye, Young Master. I wish you well and all the best." This was the queen's sincere wishes. Although they only knew each other because of benefits, it satisfied both parties and all.
Jin Rou nodded and vanished on her sight.
The demon queen couldn't help but sigh for some reason after seeing Jin Rou disappearing. Perhaps, she had thoughts about him, but only she knew what type of thoughts they were.
---
"I'm going to Upper Immortal." Jin Rou returned to the inn and told Zacharite, "Your job is done here. But it's up to you decide whether you'll come with me or not."
Zacharite had no place Great Hell. So of course, he'll come with Jin Rou, "I'll follow you to the ends of the world, Young Master."
"Good." Jin Rou said and sighed, "But I don't think I'll still be able to spare you. After all, I promised that unicorn."

Zacharite smiled and said, "I know. It's just that I still want to follow you no matter what. At least, until you don't deem me useful any longer."
He was always aware that Jin Rou might end his life anytime sooner or later. But he had no regrets, the other party took revenge for him and he could now die in peace.
Jin Rou laughed because of Zacharite's behavior, "Alright, you will be rewarded before you die. And I'll make sure that you like it."
Jin Rou had no right to give Zacharite redemption. But he could give him peace.
"Thank you, Young Master." Zacharite didn't know what kind of gift he will receive from Jin Rou. Could it possibly something that he could take in his grave? Anyway, he'd think about it when the time comes.
Jin Rou grabbed a scroll that he got when searching for valuable items inside Baal's inventory. Luckily, he found this scroll.
"This scroll will be able to teleport us to Upper Immortal. There is no exact location, though." Jin Rou explained.
"Ancient Scroll of Teleportation!" Zacharite saw the scroll and immediately recognized it, "This type of scrolls are only available to great demons."
"Perhaps. But I don't know." Jin Rou shook his head, "That's not the important matter right now, though."
Then he activated the scroll by opening it.
"Boom!" Afterwards, a large gate opened with twin lions at the top. It appeared grand and elegant, as if it was the king of all gates.
Jin Rou observed it for a while and eventually entered the gate, "Let's go."
Zacharite followed suit and after a few seconds, the gate disappeared like it was not there in the first place.

It was the Festival Season in External Faction Zone and everyone was celebrating it. Many people were dancing and drinking by all sides while beautiful ladies were dancing at a stage. Everyone was so high and happy. After all, this type of break was very rare for them.
"Esdat, look at that girl in white. She's beautiful, isn't she?" A young man in his 20s said while observing someone, "That girl is from the esteemed Deepdive Clan. If you ever betrothed her, you will be directly become the next king of their clan."
The one who called Esdat wasn't particularly interested in this girl, but he took a look and find her decent. Unfortunately, her dancing skills weren't up to par so he looked away.
Everyone was happily having their times of their lives when suddenly, a large explosion was made right at the stage.

Plague Doctor
The once-bustling and noisy streets were now filled with an eerie blanket of silence. Hoarse and frenzied whispers lingered high above the heavens, and an indescribable ancient giant lurked in the shadows of the bottomless ocean. A mysterious plague had outbroken, and natural disasters wrought the Earth. Global pandemic and catastrophes had the panicked masses seeking illusory shelters from the devastation, day and night. A bloody shower poured over the land as the streaks of lightning tore across the sky, illuminating the ill-intentioned gathering of ravens above. Nevermore, nevermore, quoth the ravens. “We can see that this malformed creature has twelve pairs of ribs like humans, but also has a “transverse bone” that humans do not possess…” In the medical school, Gu Jun continued bringing down his scalpel, illustrating the abnormal thoracic structure of the malformed cadaver on the dissection table to the surrounding students. Ominous and treacherous times had descended! Truth and logic had crumbled, order warped into a frenzy. Humanity can only forge ahead through the power of intelligence and wisdom.

Friendship Overload
A capricious master of the past is saved by an unsuspecting girl. When told to pick her reward, she merely asks for his friendship. “If so, then I will be your friend. The best damn friend there ever was!” As such begins the journey of a kind hearted girl and her capricious friend. However, the more they learn about the world, the crueler it seems. Will the girl’s light lift it out of chaos, or will her friend’s hidden darkness bury it completely? What is light and what is darkness anyway? In the end, strength conquers all. (More details below↓ ) For those wanting more clear-cut details about the setting: The story revolves around the adventures of a reincarnated reckless mage with evil tendencies and his prodigious friend who’s trying to be a good person. However, the world they live in is low on resources and overpopulated with several races which hate each other’s guts, overpowered monsters that shouldn’t even exist, and paranoid humans on the verge of destruction. Basically, it’s one giant bloodbath waiting to happen. The MCs need to strengthen themselves, learn and adapt to their surroundings (which become more and more insane with each passing chapter), and eventually, hopefully, do something to stop the madness before the world’s destroyed in warfare.

Chronicles Of The Storylord: 12th Chronicle - Origin
Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am the 12th soul, but I am not as those others are, for I am merely a shard. My purpose: begin the Tale anew. For I am the Storylord, and I am the Tale. The Tale is all, and all is the Tale, yet the Tale is myself, for I am all in my domain. This is my story, the saga of many, the legend… of the Tale. Just remember this: “This world is but a story, and all the stories are true...” This story is in the same general multiverse as RE: Deity by lightningwarrior21, but will be almost completely separate except in a few chapters. I have permission from him to use his base multiverse, and you should go check out his fiction, it’s really good. http://royalroadl.com/fiction/9597 This ‘fiction’ will be updated sporadically, so don’t expect much of a steady stream of chapters. (I’ll try to do one chapter a week, but no promises.) Suggestions on how to improve this universe helps with the management, so comments are welcome, as are Grammar Nazis. I’ve had this fiction mostly as scattered notes in my google drive, and only recently had enough time to actually put it together, like I promised lightning back in January. (Writer’s block and schoolwork do not mix well.) The cover is not owned by me, I found the image on google images. Anyway, I’ll be back yesterday… or was that tomorrow? (I really need to get that damn causality generator fixed, me-damnit!) See ya!

There will be some R-15/18 scenes for the Harem (though I have toned down the one posted here from the original drafts more to the R15 side.] The story is pretty much evenly split between progression fantasy and real-world character building and events, hopefully blending together to make a compelling narrative about how someone could change themselves and the people around them for the better if given the chance by some miraculous intervention, while also hopefully saving the world (and maybe other worlds too.] Update schedule revised: Minimum 3/week - Tues/Wed/Thurs but will aim to hit 5/week where possible If you have any questions re: future plot turns/types of things that might happen and want to know so you know whether you'd find it worth your time reading, feel free to drop me a PM and I'll let you know.
