The Adventures Of The Young Master Chapter 402

"Keisa!!!" This time, Shila Su couldn't hold himself back and immediately entered the arena, with his words crying out loud. He didn't even mind now if anyone of the enemy's camp entered at the same time though it would to a death match once again.
"Keisa... No..." Seeing the lifeless body of her wife, he was trembling with grief and hatred, "Please don't leave me... Please..."
He tried to shake her body to wake her up. In fact, he even tried to channel his essence qi to her in hope of reviving her. But the bitter truth didn't work that way. His wife was already dead, and because it was because of a death during a presence of a universal law, it was almost impossible to revive her back.
The emperor looked at this scene without any comment. It was like he wasn't interested in playing dirty as of now, and just let Shila Su grief for his dead other half.
But he wondered, why humans were so emotional? For him, emotions were just a useless tool in the path of domination. What would worthless emotions do for him? It would just be a hindrance and might be a shadow if he kept it.
They should have just rid of it from the very start. It's all what he thought right now.
On the other side, the Rou family was watching this with indescribable and mixed emotions, especially Yanlu Rou. Because of her scheming tactics, the Su family was trapped here, ending it with a casualty that they couldn't bear. After all, the one who died wasn't from them, it was from the Su family! She was regretting it a little, but thinking of the bigger picture, she ignored this. She didn't care if she was condemned or treated as evil by others, as long as her family could survive the high tides of the large sea, then it's all that mattered for her.

Shila Su kept on crying and crying for a long time. And no sides bothered him for that. It looked like they were sympathizing with Shila Su, but the truth was only the Ru was doing so. The devils weren't making a move because their emperor hadn't told them to do so.
After a long while, he finally did. He carried his dead wife and flew over from a distance from the Rou family. His eyes were bloodshot and said with a cold tone, "First, my daughter. And now, my wife. Tell me Yanlu, is this the result you wished for?"
The tone was very hostile and was sending killing intent towards Yanlu Rou.
Yanlu Rou ignored the almost bursting intent of Shila Su, she calmly answered, "Shila, you know that I don't wish for this. All I want is the prosperity of both our families. I never intended to get your family killed here."
"Hah, really?" Shila Su was clouded with irrationality. He was deeply angered by how calm Yanlu Rou was taking things, "You can say that because you aren't the one who has someone important to you die. Do you think you can say that if you're in my position?"
It was a provocative tone filled with mockery. Shila Su didn't even mind the breaking of ties of the two families right now.
"Maybe I will also feel the same as what you are feeling right now." Yanlu Rou calmly said, "However, I wouldn't act the same as you. You clearly are blaming me for what have done to your loved ones, it was like as if I planned for it."
"What, it isn't?" Shila Su smirked. He really didn't plan to back off and kept on provoking the old lady.

"I admit that I have a part of the blame here, since I dragged you to three to stay." Yanlu Rou was still collected and started defending herself, "But let's talk about your side, now. Firstly, hile I really didn't tell you the grave information of their arrival, you still have time to escape. In fact, I'm even willing to use so many resources to activate an emergent portal for you all to go back home. However, what did you answer? You and Keisa have told me that you are willing to help us. So, why are you here pointing fingers?"
"..." Shila Su didn't know what to refute these words. It was all exact and the same thing that really happened. So how could he deny it? He wasn't dumb enough to do so.
"Secondly, your daughter is missing with my own and blood grandson. Do you think that we are willing to plot against you if it will cost our good Jin'er? Hell to the heaven, that's no way. Our family wouldn't gamble with our grandson's life just to take your lives!" Yanlu Rou said with sharp words that made sense and believable.
But her words were all true. After all, who would want to sacrifice their most talented individual for the ambition of killing a certain family? Jin Rou weighed more than everything else the universe could offer.
"And thirdly, your wife has clearly expressed her intent to help us fight the enemy. And she even made a pact during the universal law introduction. If your eyes weren't blind, you would have saw me not pushing my intents to her. She was willing to do so. So then again, Mister Shila Su, why are you pointing fingers now?" Yanlu Rou's cold tone made the temperature dropped to an utmost degree.
Shila Su had no fight with words against her. All of what she said clearly hit the spot cleanly and elegantly, destroying his delusion of putting all the blame to the Rou family. It was a cheap attitude of his, but his grief was more than what he could take. So, he didn't say anything and just walked away with his wife being carried.
Who knows what he was going to do with the corpse?
Seeing this, the Rou family couldn't help but sigh in lamentation. Truly, everything went out of their calculations. Not just that, a fight was still going to happen between the actual Rou family against the devils.
And no one knew if one or some of them would die.

Dream Dungeon
Welcome to the dream dungeon. Ely suddenly finds himself in a mysterious dungeon accessed only through sleeping. Many people are drawn into this dream world, confused and mystified. Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
