Necromancer: Divine-Level Summoning Chapter 34

"Hmph! Don't move. I can deal with these demons alone!"
Hurley sneered, and fiery red magic energy gathered in her palm, transforming into a long blade.
Hurley held onto this long saber, and a gust of wind appeared under her feet. She turned into a red fire bomb that charged into the group of demons.
With a flash of the blade, seven or eight of the demons were killed.
By the side, Keaton nodded to himself. Although this woman was a little impatient, she was indeed very strong!
After killing the group of demons, the group of three went deeper into the road. Along the way, they encountered a few rounds of demons, but they were all taken care of by the Skeleton Soldiers summoned by Keaton.
Hurley had also argued with him over this matter, but under Keaton's excuse of conserving energy, Hurley reluctantly agreed to not compete with Keaton, allowing him to get more System Shop Points.
During this process, they encountered some powerful demons as well. Even though they could deal with them if they put in some effort, the three of them still chose to take a detour.
After all, this was not a safe surroundings of a human city. It was one of the most dangerous places in the Sky Blue Border.
While they were only the outer region, as time passed, they would eventually reach the center of this perilous land.
At that time, if their conditions were not ideal, the risks in their trip would be greatly magnified.
As they walked, the three gradually approached Fallen Sky Lake.
The danger level here had also increased significantly, and the demons they encountered along the way were much stronger than the ones before.
"Take this and hang it around your neck."
Hurley now took out three black stones from her pocket. These were called Breath Suppressing Stones, and they could help to erase their presences for a while.

"Why didn't you take out something like this earlier?!"
Keaton teased.
"Since you know what these are, you shouldn't have asked such a question. I'm only an early Rank 4 magus, and it's already very good that I have three of these Breath Suppressing Stones. How could I have so many stones for you to use on the journey here?"
On the surface, Hurley seemed to be complaining about her predicament, but Keaton could hear the girl's pride in her words.
The Breath Suppressing Stone was a very rare magical material. Weaker mages might not even see it, let alone own it.
For example, Keaton had only seen this in textbooks. This was his first time seeing it in real life.
After the three Breath Suppressing Stone were successfully activated, the three of them did not stay any longer and headed straight for the Fallen Sky Lake!
While Fallen Sky Lake was classified a lake, it stretched across an extremely large area, looking like an ocean.
One spring after another was hidden at the bottom of the lake, constantly bubbling as they spewed out water. Huge amount of dark elements were transmitted from the center of the lake, causing the surrounding air to drop in temperature.
The few of them did not stay any longer and quickly headed to their destination.
Roar!
As the three of them advanced, they met with more powerful demons. However, with the help of the shielding stone, they were not discovered.
"Mm? Thunder Soul Tree, there's a Thunder Soul Tree here!"
As she walked, Hurley, who was leading the group, suddenly stopped and pointed in a direction.
"This is good stuff, it's the dream material of countless thunder magicians. If one possesses a magic staff made from this Thunder Soul Wood, their battle power will increase by at least 30%!"

The joy on Hurley face was hard to conceal. Or rather, the naive her had never thought of concealing her emotions.
"Why don't we take a few each? If we do it secretly, no one will find out."
Samira suggested quietly.
This was because there would always be powerful creatures guarding the Thunder Soul Wood.
Although there seemed to be no beasts beside the Thunder Soul Wood, she did not dare to be too greedy.
"What's the point of breaking a few branches? If it were up to me, we might as well take this entire piece of wood with us. After all, there's no one that is guarding this treasure. What's there to be afraid of?"
Keaton licked his lips, a greedy look appearing on his face.
Although the Thunder Soul Wood was not as valuable as the Soul Calming Flower, it was still considered a good material. Even if he could only get half of it, he could still exchange it for quite a number of System Shop points.
Keaton took the initiative, and rushed over. He pulled out the Thunder Soul Wood in one go and ran back.
The two girls who were standing guard were dumbfounded!
"According to our prior arrangement, half of the Thunder Soul Wood is yours."
As he spoke, Keaton was about to break the Thunder Soul Wood, but at this moment, Hurley, who was standing at the side spoke.
"You don't have to share half with us. We didn't make a move at all, so you can just give us a few branches."
Samira also nodded her head. She had only wanted a few branches of the Thunder Soul Wood, and was satisfied that she could obtain them. She was not a greedy person as well.
"You can't put it that way. Although you didn't make a move, didn't you provide the Breath Suppressing Stone?"
Keaton raised his head and smiled at the two girls.
"Without the stone, I might not be able to get here. Just take it. Didn't we agree before? After coming in, we'll each share half of the benefits."
Keaton was not a good person, but he didn't want to take advantage of these two girls.
Since they had already discussed the distribution of benefits before entering the Fallen Sky Lake, Keaton saw no reason to keep it for himself.
Upon hearing this, the two ladies were overjoyed.
They smiled and took the Thunder Soul Wood that Kedan handed over. At the same time, they had already treated Keaton as a friend in their hearts.
Sometimes, people's relationships were that simple.
As long as one was willing to treat others sincerely, it was very possible that others would also be willing to treat you sincerely.
After splitting the Thunder Soul Wood, the three of them followed the path trampled by the birds and beasts, searching for possible locations where the Soul Calming Flower could spawn.
Although they knew that the Soul Calming Flower could be found within the Fallen Heavenly Lake region, it would not be easy to find such a small item in a short period of time.
As they walked, just as the mood of the three became increasingly heavy, Hurley, who was walking at the front, suddenly stopped in her tracks.
She stared coldly at a spot not far away, her shoulders trembling and twitching.
