Necromancer: Divine-Level Summoning Chapter 22

"The evolved Skeleton Soldiers are already so ferocious. What about my Centaur Lady?!"
Keaton quickly turned his attention to the Centaur Lady.
Unlike the few brainless skeleton soldiers, Centaur Lady's intelligence had already surpassed most summoned creatures and reached the standards of spiritual creatures.
"Master."
Feeling Keaton's gaze, the deer girl subconsciously puffed out her chest in pride.
Her movement caused Keaton to feel embarrassed.
My operating system is fine. She has four legs and is an animal, we are not of the same race, there is reproductive isolation between us!
Don't think too much, she is just a summoned creature, while she has intelligence, she is definitely not human!
After a series of self brainwashing, Keaton's gaze had returned to normal when he looked at the Centaur Lady.
[Name: Centaur Lady]
[Rank: Intermediate Druid]
[Attack Power: 1 standard power unit.]
[Defense: 1 standard power unit.]
[Skill 1: Berserk Magic Lv. 3, +50% target's movement speed instantly, +20% body size, +30% damage resistance. Duration: 30 seconds]
[Skill 2: Curse Magic Lv. 3. -50% target movement speed, -20% body size, -30% damage resistance. Duration: 30 seconds]
[Skill 3: Enticement (Passive) Lv. 3. Any unit that focuses on the Centaur Lady will be affected by this passive skill, reducing their will to attack.]
Upon seeing this, the young man finally understood what was going on.
"Haha, it seems my operating system should be fine."
Currently, Keaton was very satisfied with the evolved version of the Centaur Lady.
Although her attack and defense were very low, being less than a Rank 1 summoning creature, she more than made up for it through her abilities.
Summoners focused on fighting as a group, and numbers were the biggest barrier that restricted a Summoner.
On this basis, a super support like the Centaur Lady would naturally greatly amplify his powers.

Keaton calculated that with Centaur Lady's current ability, she could release buff magic for six separate allies. Concurrently, she could also cast a curse on six enemy units.
"If only I could have two Centaur Ladies!"
Keaton sighed, but this was an impossible matter.
As long as Keaton had enough points, he could have as many skeleton soldiers as he wanted.
However, he was only allowed one Centaur Lady with amazing support abilities.
"Since I can't summon another Centaur Lady, let me summon a few more Skeleton Soldiers."
Helpless, Kedan could only use the system reward points to exchange for more Skeleton Soldiers.
Currently, Keaton's system points were still too little. Even though the system had already unlocked the option to open up a new summoning template for him, the points needed were beyond frightening.
Let's first not mention the Frost Dragons and the Abyssal Demon Dragons, the Rank 9 magical summons.
Just the unlocking fee of a single Rank 4 summoned creature already reached 2000 points!
With the system's unpredictable behavior, Keaton could not guess when it would issue the next mission.
Currently, all Keaton could do was convert all his points into measurable combat strength.
"Six Skeleton Soldier, a Centaur Lady, and a peak Rank 2 Magus. It shouldn't be a problem for me to defeat a peak Rank 3 Magus now."
He looked at the six Perfect Skeleton Soldiers in front of him, as well as the doe eyed Centaur Lady beside the Skeleton Soldiers, Keaton let out a smile before stowing them away into the alternate space. He then went back to sleep.
At this moment, he still did not know how big of a storm the school was now in because of his battle.
...
"What? Keaton actually defeated eight second-year students by himself? And those eight second-year students even fought together?"

Azula, the shapely teacher, asked in shock as she looked at Audrey standing in front of her.
Looking at Azula's shocked expression, Audrey secretly felt pleased.
A few days ago, she and Keaton were still being tortured badly by this female teacher.
To think she would have such a day! Hahaha!
Audrey was overjoyed in her heart, but on the surface, she maintained her previous expression.
"Teacher Azula, I'm telling the truth. If you don't believe me, you can ask the other students. There are thousands of us. There's no mistake about this."
Upon hearing Audrey's words, Azula turned around in a daze and returned to her seat.
She did not expect that the student with the lowest magic power in her class was actually the mysterious student who summoned the two Black Warriors when school started.
She actually wanted him to learn from that person. How embarrassing.
"He must have been laughing at me when I said those words."
As she thought about it, the guilt in Azula's heart disappeared without a trace, and was replaced by a trace of shame and anger.
"Do you know where Keaton is? I need to see him now."
Azulo didn't ask Audrey to call Keaton over. To the her now, the office was a difficult place to perform what she was about to do.
As long as she went elsewhere, she was confident that Keaton would tell her everything.
"Ah, I don't know where he is either. After he defeated those second-year students on the dueling platform, he disappeared."
Audrey said angrily. As she spoke, she cursed at him for being irresponsible. He didn't even bring her along.
She had practically screamed her lungs out for him today, but that b*stard had left her behind after winning. He really didn't deserve to be human!
"Isn't your relationship with Keaton very good? How come even you don't know where he is?"
In her anxiety, Azula did not think too much and directly asked the question that she wanted to know the most.
The moment Azula asked this question, Audrey's face instantly turned red.
"Actually, I'm not very familiar with Keaton either."
Looking at Audrey's bashful expression, Azula quickly knew that this girl had developed feelings for Keaton.
"It's okay. The Academy has no rules that forbid you to love freely. If you don't say it, I won't say it. No one will know that you like him."
"I do not like Keaton at all! He's such a baddie, always bullying others. I…"
Audrey suddenly couldn't continue. She couldn't find any more flaws in Keaton other than the occasional teasing. In her heart, Keaton's image had already become glorious after that battle.

A Titan's Crusade
Erik Thayne spent most of his life being brutally ridiculed and tormented for his weight and physical appearance, among other things. A social pariah and diagnosed with an eating disorder no one has an explanation or treatment for, Erik spent years trying to overcome his issues with his personal image and escape the ridicule and vicious torment of his peers. After years of dedicated effort, and a fresh start in a town away from his childhood and adolescent tormentors, he had finally begun to truly realize what he'd been striving for all along. Only, fate apparently has other plans because in the blink of an eye, Erik found himself snatched from Earth and taken to another universe, another world, where he is offered the chance to be more than he'd ever imagined. Now, he has to fight to restore the Balance between Chaos and Order on a world of swords and magic, in a universe governed by the System's laws, which resemble those of RPGs from Earth. Erik learned to embrace the things about himself that others taught him to hate, using them to reforge his physical identity into something more removed from his old self-loathing. But can he learn to embrace the darkest parts of his mind just as he did the reviled aspects of his body and become who he needs to be to succeed in the task set before him? It might just prove easier to stalk in the dark as a monster than to walk in the light as a man... *This is my first time publishing anything I've written to a public audience. Due to formatting issues, I forwent traditional stat-screens for something a little less problematic, delineating stat screens by separating them from regular text with horizontal lines in a lighter-grey coloration. Let me know if you like them or not. Criticism is entirely welcome, but please don't hate on my work after only reading 1 chapter. This is a writing project I intend to complete but I have committment problems so we'll see how long this goes on. Also, fair warning, as the description implies, the main protagonist is intended to be someone who has been treated cruelly, developed antisocial tendencies, and ultimately has to question his own humanity--or lack thereof. This story is not intended to be brutally dark but I will definitely be trying to follow a darker theme. It is intended to be violent and some scenes later in the story might be...alarming. There will likely also be some light, non-graphic (think more implied with crude jokes and conversation than actual details, there will be no full-blown sex scenes)relationship scenes planned later and if you're opposed to either a bisexual or gay main character, stay away. I haven't yet decided which way he's going to swing but the odds on him being straight are relatively miniscule, and I've always wanted to write a story about a gay man who basically looks like a lumberjack because who doesn't like giving conventional stereo-types the middle finger? This will NOT be a harem story, and I have no intention to focus on romance over action--it's a consequence of character development where I'm concerned, not the be-all-end-all of the story. The cover-art does not, in any way, belong to me. It was an image titled the Druid King (by duskanmarkovic according to the file name) which I found on Google Images. Until I can get something commissioned, this is the best stand-in image I could find.

Tales of Light
These are a collection of short stories following different narratives. It's more like a playground and experimenting with ideas or subjects I don't want to write a complete story about. It's also a place to test my skills as a writer. Think of it as a notebook of un/finished ideas. Feel free to pick and choose which chapters to read. They aren't related unless specifically said otherwise. Just relax, enjoy, and cringe at goofy stories. There may be a timeline of events, or not... who knows?
