Necromancer: Divine-Level Summoning Chapter 19

In Clarke's opinion, Keaton's actions were simply him courting death.
While it was true that the eight of them were indeed not very impressive among the second grade students.
However, all eight of them were Intermediate Magi, and it was not something that a beginner Magus like Kedan could handle.
In Clarke's mind, the only reason why Karlot had failed was because of his lack of stamina.
He didn't think that Keaton actually had the ability to defeat Karlot openly.
"I know. Isn't it just having the eight of you running away like rats?"
Keaton smiled at Clarke and raised his eyebrows provocatively.
"Powerful people will always draw their swords at the stronger ones. Only trash like you would come to the beginner magic arena to seek for pride."
"As for me, I detest trash like you the most. I have no choice but to reluctantly teach you all a lesson."
Ever since Keaton accepted the system mission, he had been thinking of how to defeat these nine people as quickly as possible.
His plan was to first defeat one of them, then lure the other eight over to deal with them altogether.
There was actually not much difference between him and the other eight, even if he might be a Beginner Mage and them being Intermediate Mages.
Just as Clarke said, the eight had already fought many battles.
Their current state was not their peak forms at all.
However, it was a different case for Keaton. With the system, he did not require any mana to summon his creatures.
As long as his magical creatures did not die, they would continue fighting.
Furthermore, unlike other skeleton soldiers, the combat power of the skeleton soldiers summoned by Kedan far surpassed that of ordinary skeleton soldiers.
They were not only strong, they even had high magic resistance.

In addition, the strength of their attacks exceeded the power of ordinary Rank 2 spells.
What was worse was that Keaton could actually summon four Skeleton Soldiers.
In addition, he could still summon the Centaur Lady to assist him.
Although Centaur Lady's combat power was not strong, her innate ability could help four skeleton soldiers in fighting.
Centaur Lady was what they termed a Druid. She could cast buffs on the skeleton soldiers to improve their stats and increase their attack power.
Other than that, Centaur Lady also possessed the ability to use curses.
As long as she had enough time, she could apply a debuff to all of Keaton's enemies.
This was where Keaton's source of confidence lay in.
"Young man, don't speak too confidently."
Looking at Keaton's disdainful expression, Clarke was furious.
But he did not immediately step forward to challenge Keaton.
His subconscious senses told him that this freshman student was very dangerous.
If he acted rashly, he would definitely not gain any benefits.
Seeing that Clarke had no intention of fighting him immediately, Keaton no longer bothered about Clarke and retreated to the resting area of the dueling platform.
Not long after, the second grade students on the other seven dueling platforms were brought over by the first grade students.
These people quickly registered their names before walking onto the dueling platform.
"You're Keaton?"
"I heard that you want to challenge all eight of us. Where did you get your guts from?"
"Brothers, don't be angry. This sort of minor character isn't worth us getting angry over. How about this? I'll take care of this brat. Just watch."
One of the second grade student with thick eyebrows and big eyes loudly spoke.
This person was Shaynce of Dueling Stage No. 9, an Earth Magus.
"No, no, no. Let me do it. I'll teach him a lesson."

"Don't fight with me. I'll do it. I'll do it."
...
Before the battle started, the eight second grade students had already started arguing among themselves.
After experiencing the previous few battles, they were secretly mocking the first-year students for being weak.
Now, a first-year student actually dared to call all eight of them over in front of everyone.
These people were naturally unconvinced.
All of them wanted to fight Keaton one on one, and none of them were willing to give this opportunity to others.
It was at this moment that Keaton suddenly spoke up.
"Stop fighting. All of you can come at me together."
Standing up, Keaton gently patted the imaginary dust off him.
"Let's do it together. This will allow me to end it earlier. I still have to go back for training."
As soon as he finished speaking, Keaton's three summoned creatures walked up in front of him.
"You're too arrogant. Do you think you can defeat all of us with your three summoned creatures?"
"Everyone, don't argue with me. I'll go. I have to teach this kid a lesson today. It's too infuriating."
"It's better if I go…"
Before he could finish his sentence, two more beams of light appeared on the dueling platform.
Two additional skeleton soldiers clad in armor appeared before everyone.
The second grade students on the stage instantly stopped their arguments.
They looked at the five summoned creatures in front of them in horror, as if they had seen an otherworldly demon.
"Are… are you a monster?"
"Five summons, it's actually a quintuple summon."
"This kid is definitely not a beginner mage. The magic power of a beginner mage can't possibly support quintuple summoning!"
The eight people on the dueling platform were discussing animatedly, and the first grade students in the spectator stands were naturally not idle either.
"F*ck, Boss Keaton can actually complete five summons."
"How terrifying is the Mana required? He's only in the first year."
"Do you think Boss Keaton will be able to complete a sixth summoning in the next few months?"
"Boss Keaton is really our first-year student's benchmark."
Looking at the five summoned creatures on the dueling platform, the first-year students immediately became excited.
When Kedan had performed a Triple Summoning, these people had already thought of the freshman who had summoned two Black Warriors on the registration day.
However, at that time, there were still people who were suspicious of Keaton's identity. They felt that the two Black Warriors that they saw being summoned on the first day of school was done by another impressive figure.
However, after Keaton performed the quintuple summon, all speculations stopped. Everyone unanimously agreed that Keaton was the mysterious freshman who summoned the two Black Warriors that day.
With these two identities combined, Keaton became an irreplaceable existence among the freshmen of the first grade.
Furthermore, after today, his position among the new students would be even more stable.
This was because he would represent all the freshmen of the first grade today to ruthlessly trample those second grade students who had humiliated them.
"I'll give you three seconds to prepare. I'm going to make my move."
Keaton looked coldly at the eight second-year students in front of him, his eyes filled with ruthlessness.
The eight second-year students subconsciously retreated a step.
The five summoned creatures that Kedan had summoned had given them great pressure, causing their emotions to become unstable.

This, however, is the first and only biography written about that great man with foreigners in mind. We, his biographers, imagine they will be immensely grateful. It is the epic of cozy nights in a tent below the stars, of warm wind and ocean waves. It is also the epic of missing old friends in faraway places, and that feeling of needing to make life mean something. *** ‘ICOMO ODYSSEY’ is a nostalgic slice-of-life adventure about a utopian sci-fi land. Chronicles Of The Storylord: 12th Chronicle - Origin
Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am the 12th soul, but I am not as those others are, for I am merely a shard. My purpose: begin the Tale anew. For I am the Storylord, and I am the Tale. The Tale is all, and all is the Tale, yet the Tale is myself, for I am all in my domain. This is my story, the saga of many, the legend… of the Tale. Just remember this: “This world is but a story, and all the stories are true...” This story is in the same general multiverse as RE: Deity by lightningwarrior21, but will be almost completely separate except in a few chapters. I have permission from him to use his base multiverse, and you should go check out his fiction, it’s really good. http://royalroadl.com/fiction/9597 This ‘fiction’ will be updated sporadically, so don’t expect much of a steady stream of chapters. (I’ll try to do one chapter a week, but no promises.) Suggestions on how to improve this universe helps with the management, so comments are welcome, as are Grammar Nazis. I’ve had this fiction mostly as scattered notes in my google drive, and only recently had enough time to actually put it together, like I promised lightning back in January. (Writer’s block and schoolwork do not mix well.) The cover is not owned by me, I found the image on google images. Anyway, I’ll be back yesterday… or was that tomorrow? (I really need to get that damn causality generator fixed, me-damnit!) See ya!
