Necromancer: Divine-Level Summoning Chapter 3

Although the fireball in Norton's hand was not large in size, the heat it emitted was shocking.
All the recruits were shocked by the sudden increase in temperature within the bus just from Norton's fireball.
Continuous exclamations sounded in the bus.
"So powerful?!"
"Is this the capabilities of those in the Border Guards?"
"Our leader is actually a fire element mage."
"The temperature of this fireball is really high. Just looking at it gives me goosebumps."
"When can I master such a powerful fireball?"
...
The inside of the bus was boisterous. All the new recruits were envious of the compressed fireball in Norton's hand.
Norton was very satisfied with the new recruits' expressions. He smugly spoke,
"My fireball technique has been praised by the officers in our army. It has killed countless enemies and is very powerful. As long as you don't mess around, protecting you will not be a problem."
When the recruits heard this, they exclaimed again. They looked at the fireball in Norton's hand with even more envy.
Looking at the fireball in Norton's hand, Keaton Merlin was also very curious about it.
Although he was only a Necromancer and had never cultivated any elemental magic, he could see that the fireball in Norton's hand was extraordinary.
This was a principle widely recognized in the Magic studies.
Under the condition of utilizing the same amount of magic power, the smaller one could compress their magic power, the more powerful it was.
For Norton to be able to compress the fireball to the size of a palm, he could indeed be considered a very powerful mage.
However, he did not know if Norton's fireball or his two skeleton soldiers were stronger.
He came to the conclusion that this particular fireball would probably be stronger, since the two Skeleton Soldiers were gauged to have the strength of two standard fireballs.

The fireball in his hand was obviously not a standard fireball spell. After compressing its power by so many times, it must have already surpassed the strength of ordinary fireballs by several times.
As the bus continued on the journey, Norton remained passionate and enthusiastic. He began to explain to the new recruits about the Sky Blue border, allowing them to have a deeper understanding of it.
In the evening, the bus finally stopped at the spatial entrance closest to the Sky Blue border.
The new recruits got off the bus led by Norton and approached the entrance.
This spatial entrance was situated by a lake, and it was located in a very remote location. However, the Mage Union still sent people to guard it.
The new recruits took out their military identification cards and followed Norton into the spatial entrance.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The new recruits disappeared one after another.
At the same time, within the Blue Sky border, everyone's figures reappeared.
Keaton Merlin was the last to appear. He looked around in curiosity.
This was the border of the Sky Blue Continent, the only connection between the Sky Blue Continent and the Alternate World.
The external environment here looked no different from the Sky Blue Continent, but in reality, there were countless dangers hidden here.
The region of the Sky Blue Border was incomparably vast. Although it was only a border, compared to the Sky Blue Continent, the region here was more than ten times larger.
In this place, the Mage Union that was backed by the Sky Blue Continent was the highest ruling force.
A thousand years ago, the Alternate World invaded the Sky Blue Continent.
In order to resist the invasion of the Alternate World, the sorcerers of the continent joined forces and established the Sky Blue Border Guard Army.
After 1000 years of development, the Sky Blue Border Guard Army had already become a highly independent organization.

They became a powerful force under the jurisdiction of the commander-in-chief of the guards, as well as the leaders of the eight armies.
The Sky Blue Guards Army today was responsible for maintaining the order of the entire Sky Blue border and stabilizing it.
Now, Keaton had become a member of the Sky Blue Guard Army as a necromancer. This result also made people sigh.
Under the lead of Norton, everyone moved forward at high speed. They encountered a few evil spirits along the way, but they were all easily killed by Norton. No accidents occurred.
Two days later, everyone finally arrived at their final destination, Soul Suppression City.
On the incomparably tall and majestic city walls of over hundreds of meters high, the words 'Soul Suppression City' written on the city gates in flamboyant calligraphy.
All the new recruits were excited.
"Is this the legendary Soul Suppression City?"
"I didn't expect such a tall city wall to exist in this world. Haha, I'm finally here."
"One day, my name will be carved up there as well, and all of my name will eventually resound throughout the entire Sky Blue Border."
"Forget it, the waters in the Sky Blue border are too deep. You won't be able to grasp it, let uncle do it for you."
...
"Alright, rookies, it's time to enter the city. You guys still want fantasize about Soul Suppressing City in your current state? You're are still far from it."
The leader Norton looked at the excited faces of the new recruits with disdain.
After looking at them for a while, Norton thought of himself. He was also like this back then.
Truly, newborn calves are not afraid of tigers, young and reckless and ignorant.
After shouting for a while at the new recruits, Norton slowly led everyone to the city gate.
"Boss Norton, you're back so soon?"
At the entrance of Soul Suppression City, a few soldiers holding staffs looked at Norton with smiles on their faces.
The others clearly knew Norton and were greeting him respectfully.
"I'm going to recruit new recruits, not travel. Of course I came back quickly."
"On the other hand, have you disobedient things been careless these past two days?"
Norton pretended to be angry, but he was actually teasing the soldiers.
"Boss Norton, what are you saying? How can we be careless?"
As soon as his voice fell, the soldier guarding the city was slapped on the head.
"Do you think I don't know you? Of all the people here, you're the only one who likes to slack off."
After being slapped, the soldier guarding the door wasn't angry at all. He was still smiling cheekily.
"What is my boss saying? Under your guidance, I've changed a lot over the years, okay?"
"Alright then. Just stand at your posts and don't slack off."
Norton had a mission to complete, so he did not want to stay here for long.
"Boss Norton, don't worry and leave it to us. We guarantee that it won't be a problem!"
Norton nodded and headed back into the city. As he walked, he glanced sideways at the recruits behind him.
Looking at these new recruits looking at him with admiration in their eyes, he was secretly pleased.
"Newbies, welcome to the number one human city in the Blue Sky Border, Soul Suppressing City."
After being praised by the two soldiers guarding the door, Norton was in a very good mood. He could not help but begin to introduce Soul Suppression City to these new recruits.

Nine-to-Five Villainy
Once upon a time, a man that flew through the skies as easily as any bird changed everything. Decades have passed since then, yet life remains depressingly normal for most. For Timothy Lewis and Amanda Collins, there's parties, high-school, family trouble, high-school, awkward crushes, high school, and, of course, their rising careers as supervillains. Perfectly normal stuff.

The story of a man who was suddenly transported to another universe with a game like 'System', Level ups, Evolutions, Stats, the works. He wakes up as a tadpole in a swamp and through a combination of luck and absurd luck gets set on the road to becoming one of his new worlds most powerful people. This is a first draft with minimal editing. The Tables and such are more prevalent in the early chapters but I am trying to keep the tables to a minimum. I do not intend for there to be any sexually explicit content in this fiction, just occasional innuendos and the like.

All things are. We once dreamed of a sky filled with possibilities. Of neverending knowledge. But those were conceited times, filled with quibbling. Now we look up and fear the vastness. We fear that there’s no edge to infinity. Humanity pulled itself together. Not like you’d expect, not like you’d approve of, but the results are spectacular. We call ourselves Utopians now, to make it simple for our kin in the cosmos. We’ve moved out into the Omniverse, to unlimited resources, and to dominance over the weak. Not for gain, but to the ends of permanence and peace. The cessation of their suffering. At the apex, looking down on those confined, those unenlightened, we felt safe. So few stand shoulder to shoulder with us. Fewer yet of them are so united as we. Porter, a godkiller for the Eidolons, is out of the job. Christopher, a Magus in the Guild, has him a new one, but with motives questionable. Kendall, a failing student at the Monastery, has to deal with secrets he never wanted. Anna, her entire life just fell apart, leaving her bereft. And Doran, he awakens. Each of these people, connected as members of the Omniversal Utopian Commonwealth, are helpless to the dark truth closing in. Not even the artificial intelligence, Aku, keeper of all Utopian power, can stop the Ouroboros. It’s not a new dawn. The light is dying. Hold your breath and go gently.

Ludwig Lock wakes up in a hospital bed to find a weeping woman at his side. After some crying, more weaping and confusion, Ludwig discovers that that lady was his ten year old sister, and that he's been in a coma for fifteen years. He also learns that the world he had grown to know was no more since heroes, villains, and super powers inhabit the streets, being regarded as a lot of things withing an endless spectrum. Just when he was about to finally get started with his new life, Ludwig faced a streak of bad luck, the last event of this chain setting him up to die so a vigilante can save himself. After suffering the worst beating of his life and experimenting the incompetence of the law, Ludwig decides to use his own hands to achieve justice. He will face difficult challenges, traumatic situations, and probably horrible stuff to get his life rolling. But at least he's got a friend to help him. Not a normal one though. ---- IMPORTANT: I personally identify powers as a fantastical element, which is why I don't find weird the addition of other elements of the same vein if it stays within the logic of the world. New and old chapters get updated with relative frequency, (new chapter every week, though it may be delayed a day or more to problems or some other reason) and the story is in a draft-like state, meaning it will probably stay the same but there will be changes on the prose or writing. Also, I would apreciate if it is known to me (Respectfully) which points should I improve on.

Will you work with the town, who may or may not be conspirators, or go at it with your team alone? Use your judgement and logic to determine the best path to proceed and deliver justice upon the villains! (This is a choose-your-own adventurer theme fiction. I've browsed the site fairly well... But have yet to encounter this genre. If you do know of one here, do tell me. That aside, this novel is still incomplete... This is just to show that I'm not dead yet, nor have I given up.)
