[Ding! Detected that the host has received all the newbie gifts. System mission officially begins!]
Just as Keaton was immersed in his peach-colored fantasy and was unable to extricate himself, the familiar system's notification once again sounded in his ear.

[System Mission: Deceive and Assimilate]
[Mission Difficulty: Level 1, Low]
[Mission Description: As a detestable Necromancer, the host must learn how to hide himself in the crowd. Becoming part of the Sky Blue Continent's Mage Guards is the most suitable choice!]
[Mission Tool: The examination report of the Sky Blue Border Mage Guards. After receiving this tool, the host will be able to skip all the previous steps and directly enter the final recruitment assessment segment!]
[Mission Requirement: Host has to infiltrate the Sky Blue Guard Army within three days!]
[Mission Reward: After succeeding, the System Shop will be opened for the host. Every time the system mission is completed, the host will receive system points. The host can exchange the required items in the System Shop with system points.]
[Penalty for Failure: If the host fails to complete the mission, the system will automatically leave the host and find the next suitable host.]
[Note: The faster the host completes the mission, the higher the rating will be. The system points will also increase!]

After reading the system's mission description, Keaton's brain was thrown into confusion!
"This is a low-levelled, level one mission. System, do you have some misunderstanding about the words 'low-level mission'?"
"I'm a Necromancer, and you actually want me to participate in the examination of the Sky Blue Border Mage Guards? Are you crazy, or am I crazy!?"
"Don't you know that if my identity as a Necromancer is exposed, I will be cut into pieces by those mages that are always spewing righteousness!"

[Ding! Host need not be agitated. You may also reject this system's mission. However, once Host refuses to accept this system's mission, the system will forcefully break away from the host according to the Universal System Convention and retrieve the items in the beginner's gift bag!]
What the f**k…..
Keaton's expression changed drastically. The anger on his face was however quickly replaced by calmness.
'Based on the shitty nature of the system, it might really do as it claims.'
'I have to rely on the Necklace of Falsehood that it gave me to survive. I cannot let it go.'
After calculating his odds silently, Keaton once again placed his attention on the interface that appeared during his communication with the system.
"No, no, no. I was just joking with you. Don't be so petty!"
"Isn't it just making me infiltrate the Sky Blue Border Army? It's not a big deal, I'll do it!"
Keaton put on his Necklace of Falsehood before speaking righteously,
"Give me the report. I'll go and complete this mission now!"
After inheriting the Host's memory, Keaton already knew that the garrison troops of the Blue Sky Border Army were currently recruiting at this very place, Roma City.
[Ding! Detected that host has accepted the mission issued by the system. Mission tools are being distributed.]
Whoosh!
A golden light flashed in front of Keaton's eyes. The next moment, a physical examination report appeared on the desk in front of Keaton.
Picking it up, Keaton almost laughed out loud.
......
"Congratulations, student Keaton Merlin."
"You have passed the test and become a guard of the Sky Blue Border Army, obtaining the qualifications to head to the Sky Blue border."
"This is your garrison identity card. Please keep it well."
A middle-aged soldier smiled faintly as he handed a military identification card to a young man in the testing center of the Sky Blue Garrison Test Centre.

Upon hearing the soldier's words, Keaton Merlin's heart didn't waver at all. He even felt like laughing.
He actually passed it so easily. This was the so-called low level mission?
Before coming to this test center, he was still worried that there would be problems with the examination report in his hands.
However, when he took out the report and asked for directions in the examination center, the soldiers in charge of watching the scene didn't even take a glance at the report in his hands. They directly brought him into the last examination room of the Test Centre.
Keaton Merlin took the military identification card and medical report from the middle-aged soldier.
With this garrison identity card, he could head to the Sky Blue border at any time.
After putting away the Sky Blue Garrison's identity card, Keaton Merlin left the test center with light steps.
Three days later, people from the Sky Blue Guard Army would come to escort him and the newly recruited soldiers to the Sky Blue border.
At home, Keaton Merlin opened the system interface.

[Ding! Host has completed the first mission, Mission Rewards calculation is in progress!]
[Ding! As the host only used half a day to complete the novice mission, the mission completion level has reached SS-grade. Mission points doubled! The host now has 200 points!]
[Ding! System Shop has opened. Host can use points to exchange for rewards in the system.]

Hearing that pleasant ringing sound in his mind, Keaton happily opened System Shop.
At this moment, the System Shop only had one icon available for summoning.
Perhaps the other summoned creatures had not been unlocked. Whatever, he would use his points first.
Keaton did a few calculations in his heart before clicking the icon.
Name: Perfect Skeleton Soldier
Rank: Elementary Dark Creature
Attack Power: Two standard Power Units.
Skills: None
Exchange Points: 100
Note: The power of a standard Unit is equivalent to a Fireball spell.
"That's pretty fierce. It's base attack is equal to two fireballs. Doesn't that mean I'm invincible among my peers?"
With a thought from Keaton, two perfectly disguised skeleton soldiers instantly appeared in front of him.
Before waiting for these two skeleton soldiers to figure out the situation, Keaton took out the Contract Seal and forcibly turned these two skeleton soldiers into his servant creatures.
After that, Keaton no longer looked at these two skeleton soldiers. With a wave of his hand, he sent these two skeleton soldiers back to the alternate space.
"I still have three days. I will need to properly enjoy my life!"
......
Three days later, the new recruits of the Border Army gathered.
A bus carrying more than 50 recruits then set off from the gathering point of the garrison.
"Hey, rookies, we're setting off now."
"My name is Norton. From today onwards, I will be your leader."
"All of you should feel honored for yourselves. You will head to the border of Sky Blue to contribute your youth to humanity."
"To motivate you, if you can persevere… One day, you will become as powerful as me."
Listening to Norton's speech, the recruits in the bus revealed puzzled expressions.
"I can tell from your expressions that you don't believe in my strength."
"It seems like I'll have no choice but to show you some of my skills today."
A small fireball appeared in Norton's hand just as he finished speaking.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
