Necromancer: Divine-Level Summoning Chapter 1

In the pitch dark room, Keaton Merlin slowly opened his eyes.
"Hmm, where is this? Why am I here? Wasn't I playing a game? Who brought me here?"
Keaton Merlin stood up and rubbed the side of his head as he surveyed his surroundings.
"Eh, why is it so sticky?"
Keaton Merlin was puzzled as he felt a viscous texture on his fingers. Lowering it for a closer look, he got a shock.
"F*ck! It's blood! How did I bleed so much!"
In order to see his injury clearly, Kedan Merlin hurriedly searched for a mirror in the room.
A moment later, Keaton was looking into the mirror he had found. His heart skipped a beat at the sight.
"Damn, is this even me?"
A person with a straight nose and deep eye sockets appeared in the mirror.
Although this person looked very handsome, Keaton was very sure that this person was not him.
It was at this moment that Keaton suddenly felt a sharp pain from within his brain.
Countless memory fragments surged into his mind like a tide.
Half an hour later, the sharp pain finally receded from Keaton's head.
At the same time, he finally understood that he had transmigrated to another world.
This was a world where magic was flourishing, known as the Sky Blue Continent.
In Sky Blue Continent, magicians possessed a position that ordinary people could not reach.
The original owner Keaton was also a mage, but he was a Necromancer, and it was even hereditary, passed down from his family.
Unlike the situation where other mages would be sought after no matter where they went, in the Sky Blue Continent, Necromancers were an existence that everyone hated.
In the eyes of the people of the Sky Blue Continent, every Necromancer was an incomparably evil existence.

These evil sorcerers only knew how to study necromancy and poison all living beings. Countless people had died in their hands.
Therefore, more than 400 years ago, the Guild of Magic of the Sky Blue Continent organized the mages and jointly set a rule—the Sky Blue Convention!
According to the Sky Blue Convention, every mage had the obligation to pursue and annihilate all Necromancers.
From then on, there were fewer and fewer Necromancers that survived under the organized siege.
Today, Necromancers had become a rare species.
However, such a rare species was not protected. Instead, they were hunted down even more crazily.
"What bad luck do I have! When others transmigrate, they either transmigrate to become the emperor's son or directly transmigrate to become the emperor.
But so much for my luck, not only did I not get a good identity. I just transmigrated and I'm being hunted down. My life is so tough."
Keaton Merlin slapped his thigh with a pained expression.
"Look at you, why did you have to learn Necromancy? You harmed yourself and me!"
The original owner, Keaton Merlin, was a youth blinded by hatred. When he was very young, he witnessed his father being killed by an elemental mage.
From then on, he made up his mind to become a Necromancer and let the world know that Necromancers were not to be trifled with!
In order to achieve this lofty goal, he gave up his powerful talent in elemental magic and instead cultivated Necromancy.
However, the moment he learnt the art of Necromancy, he was killed by the Skeleton Soldier he summoned.
"If you don't cultivate Necromancy, you won't be able to summon Skeleton Soldiers. If you don't summon Skeleton Soldiers, you won't be killed by them. If you don't get killed by them, I would not have been able to come to your world."

"I'm going to cry if I say too much. I've been harmed so badly by a fool like you!"
While clapping his hands and stamping his feet to complain, Keaton packed his luggage. At this time, he was already prepared to run away.
"Since I'm already here, there's no point complaining. Just accept reality and run."
While packing, Keaton continued to grumble.
"Don't even think about me avenging you. You've set me up in this world, and I have to 'return the favor' somehow. Otherwise, I'll feel unbalanced in my heart."
Just as Keatong was speaking utter gibberish with a dejected expression, a 'ding' sounded in his mind.

[Ding! God-level summoning system has been successfully bound. Host identified as Keaton!]
[Ding! As the host has transmigrated as a Necromancer, the difficulty of survival has greatly increased. The host is specially exempted from novice missions. A gift package has been sent to the host's backpack. Please accept it quickly!]

"F**k me, there's actually a system!"
Keaton raised his eyebrows. The bitterness on his face disappeared and he became energetic.
"Like I thought, as a transmigrator, how can I not have a system? This is a standard for transmigrators."
While muttering to himself, Keaton opened the system backpack.
Although this was his first time coming into contact with this system, he instinctively knew how to open the system backpack.
After opening the backpack, a colorful newbie gift bag appeared in front of Keaton.
"System, open beginner's gift bag!"
Keaton softly recited in his mind, and the system space suddenly emitted a dazzling light.
Keaton, who was blinded by this light, subconsciously raised his hand to cover his eyes.
After a few seconds, the light dissipated, and Keaton opened his eyes.
The first thing he saw were two shiny golden objects.
Keaton squinted as he carefully looked at one of the items.
In the next moment, an extremely detailed introduction column appeared before him.
_________________________________________________________
Name: Necklace of Falsehood
Level: Divine Artifact
Durability: One year
Effect: Disguise the host's Necromantic Energy as Summon Magic Energy. It will never be seen through!
Note: This item cannot be repaired. When the duration ends, this item will no longer be able to be used!

Looking at the introduction of this necklace, Keaton beamed with joy!
With this thing, he could live under the sunlight for a year and not have to worry about being hunted by other mages!
Keaton withdrew his gaze and placed his attention on the other item.
A familiar scene appeared once again.
__________________________________________________________
Name: Seal of Contract
Level: Divine Artifact
Durability: Permanent
Effect: It can force the host to sign a master-servant contract with any creature that has been summoned, ignoring any resistance!
Note: This item also allows the host to sign a contract with creatures in the material world, but the host must obtain the other party's consent.

After reading the introduction of the second item, Keaton laughed out loud.
"Forcibly signing a master-servant contract, ignoring any resistance. Ahhh! Yissssss! This is good stuff!"
Thinking of those charming dark creatures described in the novels he had read on the novels online, Keaton started to drool from the corner of his mouth.

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.
8 150Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons: Year One
Build a Dungeon. Slay Heroes. Survive Finals. Wounded Army vet Logan Murray thought mimics were the stuff of board games and dungeon manuals… right up until one ate him. In a flash of snapping teeth, Logan suddenly finds himself on the doorstep to another world. He’s been unwittingly recruited into the Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons—the most prestigious interdimensional school dedicated to training the monstrous guardians who protect the Tree of Souls from so-called heroes. Heroes who would destroy the universe if it meant a shot at advancement. Unfortunately, as a bottom-tier cultivator with a laughably weak core, Logan’s dungeon options aren’t exactly stellar, and he finds himself reincarnated as a lowly fungaloid, a three-foot-tall mass of spongy mushroom with fewer skills than a typical sewer rat. If he’s going to survive the grueling challenges the academy has in store, he’ll need to ace the odd assortment of classes—Fiendish Fabrication, Dungeon Feng Shui, the Ethics of Murder 101—and learn how to turn his unusual guardian form into an asset instead of a liability. And that’s only if the gargoyle professor doesn’t demote him to a doomed wandering monster first…
