Upon hearing her words, he leaned against his chair and lowered his head. He flipped the fountain pen in between his two fingers several times and said nothing.

He seemed to ponder about what she said. Zhi Ruo noticed that her brother hadn't said anything for the past two minutes and was getting anxious. ​​

He sent his personal bodyguards to follow his sister for the past two weeks to make sure she would not get herself into trouble that was where he found out that his sister applied for a job at G. south hospital.

Afterwards, he asked them to check out the hospital to know if it was a good one to work at. He didn't want her to loose her life in the process of getting a job for herself.

"You didn't even tell your family what your plans are. Did you even think of us if something bad had happened to you when you wanted to get the job?"

He didn't answer her question, instead he reprimanded her.

Zhi Ruo heard her brother and almost broke into tears because of his cold eyes staring at her.

Zhi Xuan being a protective brother didn't allow his sister to leave on her own. He ordered his driver to drive her home and made sure she calls him when she arrived at home.

When she got home, she did as she was told and called her brother who was already worried sick about her.

After she had done that, she called Xiao li to share with her the good news. Xiao like was so happy that she clapped her hands.

"Ruoruo finally, you have gotten what you wanted. I'm so happy for you"

"Lili, when are you gonna get a job also?" Zhi Ruo spoke with all seriousness in her tone. "You can't continue to stay under the roof of Young master Jingyi Wang and do nothing, right? Don't tell me you want to be a full house wife?"

Upon hearing her friend's words. Xiao li sighed deeply. She had also thought of it, but she did not know how to bring it up whenever she was with Jingyi Wang.

She said in a low voice, "I've thought of it, but I didn't get the chance to tell Jingyi Wang. I thought of going out to look for job next month, so it would be easy for me, but I'm scared that Jingyi Wang would not allow me to leave"

Zhi Ruo did not tell her parents about the job because she was scared of them scolding her. That was why she approached her brother for help instead.

But she never knew that her brother had discussed her matter with her parents which they agreed to it. Her brother being a sensitive person knew how crazy his sister could be and assigned his people to follow her.

"If I do, don't you think that they would scold me for not telling them in the first place?" Zhi Ruo asked with a smile.

Xiao li heard her and sighed internally.

When it was time for dinner, Jingyi Wang had not returned home which made Xiao li worried. She sat in the dining area and stared at the food, not bothered.

She picked up her phone, thinking she should call him to know how he is, but when she thought that he might be in a meeting she stopped and placed her phone down.

At that moment, Yang Lingsi walked over and leaned in to say, "Young miss, young master said that he would not come home for dinner tonight so you should eat without him."

The moment Xiao Li heard this, she frowned and grabbed her phone to call him.

"Young miss, he said that he would be in a business meeting this night, so he won't have the chance to pick your calls." Yang Lingsi hurriedly said when she saw that Xiao Li was about to call him.

She sighed and dropped the phone, then she said to Yang Lingsi, "Okay."

Xiao Li didn't eat too much and went for the master bedroom. She showered, chatted with Zhi Ruo since Jingyi Wang was not around. When it was half past nine, she turned off her phone and slept off.

Xiao li was stunned for a moment before she reacted,"ah Jin,when did you come back? I didn't see you in the room and you didn't give me a call" Xiao li voice was not loud,it was soft and gentle,but it did not sound like she was asking a question. instead it sounded more like a complaint.

Jingyi Wang's breath was some what unstable and he was staring at her with his deep blue ocean eyes which glowed in the dark. He tightened his arms around her as he felt that she was trying to resist.

" lili,let me hug you for some time"he quietly whispered in her ears.

At that moment,Xiao li detected the smell of red wine when he spoke. It was then that she saw the wine bottle and glasses scattered all over the sofa it seems that he was drunk.

"Ah jin,you drank too much,let me help you back to the room". she tried to slip her hand out to support Jingyi Wang but he didn't allow her.

"let me hug you a little bit more".His breath became heavier as he said.The aroma of red wine in his breath hit Xiao li continuously. she stayed quietly in his arms without saying another word.

" Lili, you won't leave me, will you? you will love me back? even though I was the one who ruined your marriage?"

At that moment,Xiao li was stunned for a while.

This man was no longer his usual, cold and arrogant self.he now realized that he was the one who ruined her wedding and she might hate him for that.He was scared that she might not love him because of this, that was why he decided to question her.
