Xiao li sat in the living room with Ai Bao in her arms. Her gaze fixated on him as if she was looking at a child.

Ever since Jingyi Wang brought Ai Bao home, she had never been so bored like before. The both of them would go to the garden together almost everyday. It was as if Jingyi Wang knww she loved dogs. ​​

When she was in the Xiao family, her parents never allowed her to have pets as they saw it as distraction. Back then, Xiao li was an accounting student and one of the top three in her school. She was very studious and had no time for nonsense. Hence, they saw that buying her a pet would distract her from her studies as she would have to take care of the pet everyday.

At that moment, Jingyi Wang walked into the living room. Upon seeing the scene in front of him, his face darkened and his heart leaped to his throat.

This two looked closer that he thought.

He saw a smile starting to form on Xiao li's lips as she seems to whisper something to Ai Bao.

He suddenly felt that this woman would soon be taken away from him if he didn't act fast. Ai Bao had a special place in her heart also, but what about him?

Realising that these two didn't even notice he has been standing there for some minutes now, his blue eyes dilated and dimmed. He thrust his hands into his pocket and coughed "Isn't the duty of Mrs Wang to take care of her husband? it seems that you have forgotten your duties?"

Xiao Li rose her head the moment she heard the voice and saw the man dressed in a white shirt and a black pant with his short hair brushed back completing his look.

His handsome and cold face showed an overbearing and arrogant expression. The curve hanging at the corner of his lips held some cruelness behind it. "What are you staring at? Mrs Wang? hmm?" he realized that she was gaping at him and laughed. "Come and help me with my tie"

He said and threw the tie at her, giving her an evil smile. Seeing this, Xiao Li snorted and rolled her eyes at him. She stood up and walked up to him then, she began to knot the tie.

Her slender, long and fair fingers didn't stop moving as she made beautiful moves. Her eyes were lowered making it easier for Jingyi Wang to see her long eyelashes that blinked occasionally.

It was alluring!

"Done. Is Mr Wang satisfied now?" She informed him when she was done. "You should reward me with- " She had yet to finish her words, when a firm lips landed on hers, making abruptly swallow her remaining words.

Xiao Li was shocked.

Her eyes widened in surprise, but she couldn't bring herself to break the kiss. She wrapped her arms around his waist and pulled him closer.

This woman... she was sending a message to him, if she could allow him to kiss her without struggling, this means she was slowly accepting him.

As he thought of it, he felt delighted.

After a long time of kissing, Jingyi Wang broke the kiss and lifted Xiao Li's chin, then he said in a magnetic voice"Xiao Li, don't think of running away with another man. In this world, no matter where you run, I will always be there. Even if you enter the ground I will find you there."

He sounded so overbearing and domineering like he was claiming his property. Xiao Li opened her big innocent eyes and blinked like a child. She then said slyly,"When did I tell you that I was going to run away?" As she spoke, she tucked her to the back of her ear.

Jingyi Wang smiled and cupped one side of her face"I know you the best Lili, actually I'm just making sure you won't try to run away" He said this through his smile,revealing his white set of teeth.

At Zhi's corporation.

Zhi Ruo entered the Zhi's corporation in a woolen coat and a jean trouser with a pair canvas shoe. The moment Zhi Ruo stepped in, the ladies in the office were unusually excited getting together to gossip.

Zhi Ruo was already a well-known child before he even reached the age of seven. She was well-known for her beauty in the whole of G.City. Not only for that, she was the only one in her family that didn't go into business. She wanted to live her own world and not follow her parent's path.

Zhi Ruo barged into her brother's office without knocking. She looked up and saw a tall figure in a black suit looking out of the window. "Brother seems to be so busy, that he forgot he has a sister."

The man heard her and turned around "Young mistress doesn't even know how to knock anymore. It seems that I spoilt you enough for you to have forgotten the things our parents taught you" Zhi Xuan's voice was polite and elegant.Even though his words sounded gruel, he still couldn't hide the smile he had on his lips.

This two siblings didn't wait a minute to attack each other with words.

"Bruh...brother, now you know that you are pampering me too much". A small pout on her lips as she sat on the couch.

Zhi Ruo was the last child of her parents and she received love and care from both her parents and her brother. When her parents left for Europe, Zhi Xuan has been the one looking after her just like how a big brother should do.

Whenever, Zhi Ruo wanted something without hesitating, he would give it to her.

Zhi Ruo picked up the cushion and played with it. "Brother, I've never seen you with a woman before. When are you going to get married? I can't wait to be an auntie"

Zhi Xuan was just five years older than Zhi Ruo and he never had a girlfriend by his side. He had everything a woman was looking for in a man. His gifted good voice was elegant and beautiful which could make a woman drown in it if heard not to mention his handsome looks, strong family background and solid professional accomplishments.

It was a taboo to mention that he never had a girlfriend in front of him. However, today, Zhi Ruo had used that to subtly taunt him. She had clearly called him inexperience. That was a slap on Zhi Xuan's face.

Zhi Xuan's face was grim and he did not speak.

Upon seeing the Zhi Ruo did not blink nor smile like she used to do whenever she brought this topic up, the corner of his mouth curled upwards into a mocking smile. "Since you want a child so badly, why don't you get married and make me an uncle instead"

Hearing him speak in a tone so full of ridicule, Zhi Ruo quivered in anger. She pointed her finger at her brother, "You...Sigh. Brother, I only care so much about you. If mom and dad comes back, they would want you to get married, so you can give them a grandchild. But me, I'm still so young for marriage"

"So young for marriage?" he raised an eyebrow and sat down behind his desk. "Lili was about to get married six months ago, but her marriage was ruined by Jingyi Wang and I heard that she would get married to him soon"

Hearing this, Zhi Ruo felt uncomfortable. She dropped the cushion and stood up in anger, "Brother, Xiao li had probably found the right person for herself, but me, I've not found the right person for me. Do you want me to end up with a man that would mistreat me?"

Upon hearing her brother's words, she calmed down and her anger subsided. She looked at him with a pout, then she said, "I know you will protect me, but it's just that when you get married, you won't love and care about me like you are doing now"

Zhi Xuan was speechless, "..."

Did she not just say she wanted me to get married and make her an auntie? Now she is complaining.

Zhi Xuan shook his head with a sigh.

This woman, he did not just understand her.

"Why are you here in the first place" Zhi Xuan spoke up after realising that she had yet to tell him why she was here.

"I found a job already"
