After a few seconds, a smile spread across her face, and her eyes were filled with excitement and joy.

Liu wei heard this and his face fell. His malicious looking eyes gleamed with a contrasting combination of fire and ice.

Liu wei's expression turned solemn and cold, "Do you really love him? You know who Jingyi Wang is; he is ruthless and arrogant. He doesn't care about anybody except from himself"

"That's not true" Xiao li immediately retorted. The Jingyi Wang she knows is sweet and caring. She had never seen him being ruthless. "Why are you saying all of these?" Xiao li could not help, but ask.

Why was he saying all of this?

Liu wei could not believe that Xiao li would immediately side Jingyi Wang even though it's been a few months she'd stayed with him.

What surprised him was that she even defended him as if she'd been living with him for almost 20 years of her life.

He brushed every thing aside and smiled sweetly at her, "Xiao li, you have become fatter. It seems that Jingyi Wang is really taking care of you"

Xiao li head this and nodded her head, smiling. Liu wei lowered his head and gazed at her finger. The ring he gave her was no longer there.

Does that mean he was nothing to her now?

His heart felt empty.

He had never thought that one day, she would be for another man. He thought that after he cut off the wedding with her, she would come begging at his feet for him to come back.

Liu wei heard her voice and come back to reality. He shook his head and gave a bitter smile, "Just thinking about those days we used to be together"

The moment Xiao li heard this, her heart trembled; Her heart ached badly for him. She suddenly remembered his words and the anger she saw in his eyes that day; she trembled.

She had always wanted to meet him and ask for forgiveness, but now she has done it, she felt relieved.
