Startled, Xiao li gazed at Jingyi Wang who was still smiling at her.

She was confused. Why didn't he show any sign of anger or has he forgotten what she did yesterday? ​ ​

"No, I'm not hungry" Just as she said that, her stomach growled.

Stunned, Xiao li lowered her head and looked at her stomach. She raised her head and flashed an awkward smile at Jingyi Wang. Afterwards, she saw down at the table and Jingyi Wang took her plate and picked some steak for her alongside with baked sweet potatoes.

"I heard that you locked yourself in your room since I left yesterday morning and you didn't even eat lunch and dinner"

Jingyi Wang tilted his head at Xiao li. He cut fried egg and took a big bite.

Xiao li looked at his calm expression and thought something was wrong with his head. Did he forget what she did? Or is he pretending to have forgotten?

When she saw that his face expression did not change, she tore her eyes away from him.

Xiao li put down her spoon after having eaten just two spoons. She glanced at Jingyi Wang again.

Swallowing a big bite of egg, Jingyi Wang said, "If you have anything to say, just say it and stop staring at me"

At that moment, Xiao li realised that she has been gazing at Jingyi Wang for a long time. She coughed awkwardly and averted her eyes away.

After breakfast, Jingyi Wang left the house without saying a word which made Xiao li feel uneasy in her heart.

She watched Jingyi Wang leave in his car and sighed, "Yang Lingsi, I think Jingyi Wang is angry with me. He didn't even say anything to me and he left the house"

Yang lingsi who was behind Xiao li heard this and smiled. She lean forward and whispered in a low voice, "Is young miss angry that Young master didn't give her a good bye kiss?"

With a widely-opened eyes, Xiao li turned around and saw Yang lingsi giggling with her hands over her mouth. She frowned and lightly hit Yang lingsi's arm, "That's not what I'm talking about"

Yang lingsi stopped smiling and asked, "Then what's young miss talking about?"

"Huh?" Xiao li was stunned. When she realised that Yang lingsi was only trying to tease her, she said, "Nothing"

Then, she turned and left.

But before leaving, she casually told Yang lingsi that she would rest in her room for a while.

On the 25th floor of A.B company, a slender figure sat behind the desk as he stared at the man reporting emotionlessly. He then said, "I've said before that the higher management needs to think from the company's strategic planning point of view. Why didn't your sale proposal show any of that?"

"The company has put much capital into delicate secrets and we are exerting out the greatest strength to promote it to the public"

In the last three months, Jingyi Wang saw the opportunity and started a project called, Delicate Secret. It's primary products were lingerie and female clothes. As the business grew, operations expanded until he built an e-commerce website.

The website was one of the most well-known online shopping sites in the country.

Three years ago, the ambitious Jingyi Wang entered A.B company, which developed by leaps and bounds under his management.

At present, Jingyi Wang is known as one of the wealthiest business man in G city.

Finally, the man spoke, "The details of the main plan for delicate secrets is about connecting our products with our online shop..."

After the meeting, Jingyi Wang walked out of the elevator that directly opened into his office and plopped down lazily on the couch.

He glanced at the young man in his early twenties who was standing in front of him and asked, "What's my schedule for today?"

As soon as he said that, a young lady brought in a cup of coffee and placed it on his desk and walked out.

After the lady left, the man replied, "Miss Jiang will treat you to dinner tonight which you have not agreed to"

"Cancel it"

"Okay"

Jingyi Wang asked again, "What else?"

"Nothing"

"Then you may go" Jingyi Wang tugged at his tie gently and lean back into his chair.

A car steered into the Xiao family parking lot. Xiao fang had just arrived home after a work trip and Yu Yan saw him standing under the pavilion talking on his cell phone.

He had returned home when he heard that the Wang's family are ready to meet with them. Although, he heard that Xiao li is being taken care of there, he still felt uneasy.

Since they were going to see their child, he decided to rush home.

Yu Yan gazed at her husband from afar. However, there was a hint of sadness in his eyes.

Xiao fang was wearing a grey pole tee with black pants covering his long muscular legs. At age 45, Xiao fang was at the prime of his life.

Perhaps, Yu yan's gaze was so intense that Xiao fang detected and turned around to where she was noticing Yu yan, Xiao fang frowned.

"Yanyan, miss chao said you haven't been eating well since I left the house. Why?" Xiao fang asked. He was clearing concerned for her health.

Facing Xiao fang, Yu yan finally spoke, "How do you expect me to eat well, when I know that my daughter is in danger"

Hearing Yu yan's words, Xiao fang felt a pain in his heart. He lowered his gaze and sighed. He too has not been doing well these past few days, it was when she heard that the Wang's family wants to meet him that he felt somewhat relieved.

Adjusting his emotions, Xiao fang gave a faint smile and walked over to Yu yan's side. "You don't have to worry about anything. I heard that Xiao li is save in the hands of the Wang's family. Also, then want to meet us"

A glint flashed across Yu yan's eyes when she heard this, "Really?"

Xiao fang replied with a nod, "Mmm"

Xiao fang placed his hand on Yu yan's back and led her inside while comforting her. He brought her to the living room and made her sit down.

He brought her a glass of water and changed the subject. He talked about his business while Yu yan listened without interrupting.
