Chapter 166: Master Yu Asks: Where Are You?

Actually, Qing Zi could not be faulted for her way of thinking.

The International Association had always been a place usually closed to commoners. It was complicated to get a spot here in the first place.

In Qing Zi’s mind, the three of them had come to the International Association just to study. The gulf between them and the locals was just too wide. It would do them no good to cross the locals.

Su Huiqing allowed Qing Zi to drag her aside, and good-naturedly listened to her advice. She was much taller than Qing Zi, and she just stood by the door with gently lowered eyelids and relaxed brows.

Qing Zi sighed, her expression serious. “Just give her the bed and take mine… are you listening to me?”

Su Huiqing shoved her cell phone into her pocket before smiling at Qing Zi. She replied calmly, “Mmm.”

She appeared extremely obedient.

Qu Yan just dragged a chair over to the computer and started playing her video game. However, she didn’t put on her earphones. She just typed on her keyboard as she half-listened to the ongoings in the room.

Bertha crossed her arms and lifted her delicate chin when she saw Su Huiqing and Qing Zi return.

She glanced askance at Su Huiqing. “Gather up your things and get lost.”

Su Huiqing paused.

She slowly turned her eyes on Bertha and casually zipped up her jacket. Her dark eyes were cold and clear. “You… say that again?”

She had indeed heard Qing Zi’s advice.

But it didn’t mean she had to comply.

Su Huiqing had never bowed down to anyone in her entire life.

The International Association was a military base, and the power was held by the big three.

If this was another dormitory room, the others would have been extremely respectful and humble toward Bertha. But it was her bad luck to end up with someone like Su Huiqing.

She did not even fear Bai Yi, the current boss of the military base, why would she fear those under him?

Bertha’s guard saw that Su Huiqing was not about to back down, and so he reached out to grab her. “Do you have a death wish?!”

Su Huiqing’s eyes narrowed. Her hands remained casually tucked in her pockets.

All she did was to raise her leg and give that man a vicious kick!

Her speed was breakneck fast.

Apart from Qu Yan, no one else could clearly see her movement.

Su Huiqing placed her foot on the man’s back.

She then glanced sideways at Bertha and said calmly, “Remember my name. Su Huiqing. Don’t get the wrong person if you wish to take revenge.”

She was no ordinary student.

She was Su Huiqing.

Dappled sunlight shone through the windows.

Her eyes were chilly to the extreme.

Bertha’s face changed. She knew power when she saw it.

Even though Su Huiqing had yet to recover her peak form, she was not called the Queen of Mercenaries for nothing. She barely needed to lift a finger to deal with these people.

Bertha remained silent and just placed her own bag on the bed by the door. With lowered eyes, she appeared deep in thought.

It was the first day of school, and Su Huiqing didn’t wish to give Principal Dien a lousy impression.

Even more so, she didn’t wish to make a big deal out of this.

She slowly removed her foot.

Glancing at the clock on the wall, she took up her clothes and entered the changing room.

The door to the dormitory room was opened the entire time. The earlier commotion attracted people from the surrounding rooms, who immediately backed off when they saw Su Huiqing emerge.

Qu Yan closed her laptop and followed Su Huiqing out.

Qing Zi naturally did not dare to remain in the room alone. She took her bag and chased after them.

Su Huiqing was going to meet Apollo, but she didn’t try to shake off Qu Yan and Qing Zi.

The three of them came across a group of youths dressed in some sort of a white uniform.

There were about 30 to 40 of them, all possessing rather striking looks.

“Do you see them? They are our seniors from Class S who are going to graduate this year. I heard that every single one of them is very formidable.” Qing Zi was full of gossip once again. “Why are they all wearing a white ribbon? Is it their class style?”

Su Huiqing looked toward the direction which Qing Zi was pointing at.

She came to a sudden stop and didn’t even pick up Apollo’s call.

“What’s the matter?” Qu Yan raised her brows.

Su Huiqing shook her head slowly, as her eyes swept across the group.

Her gaze finally landed on the white ribbon around their wrists.

After a long while, she finally lowered her eyes and called Apollo back on the phone.

She casually replied Qu Yan, “I am fine.”

Her eyes were completely dark.

How could she fail to remember?

The fourth of November.

The day of her death.

One of the white-uniformed people, a youth with dark blue eyes suddenly halted.

“Class monitor?” One of the guys beside him asked.

Mo Qiu turned his eyes away from the trio. “Nothing, let’s go.”

Outside the school gates.

Apollo stood there in all his golden-haired glory. A silver car was parked behind him.

If it was in Green City, his flamboyant manner would have been a rare sight. But in the cosmopolitan and diversified world of the International Association, he was not as outstanding. Nevertheless, he still attracted some sideways glances.

“King, I don’t see you anywhere?” He placed his phone by his ear as he scanned the pedestrians passing by.

Su Huiqing hung up the phone and called out, “Look behind you.”

“Let’s find a place to talk.” Su Huiqing indicated toward Qu Yan and Qing Zi. “These are my roommates.”

“Let’s go to the Night Bar. There is no safer place in the International Association than Dugu’s.” Apollo smirked wickedly. “He has been tracking down news on you, right? Let’s see if he can recognize you today.”

Su Huiqing casually placed her hand on the car window. She had no opinion.

The primary base of the Number One Intelligence Agency was indeed very safe.

As for Dugu investigating her, she was not all concerned.

The people in the Demon Concentration Camp were all brilliant and talented. She never tried to change her own style on purpose, but not everyone could guess her identity.

After all, it was a staggering revelation for someone to be reborn after death.

Basically, no one would ever imagine this to be possible.

She would be in danger if those people in the Su Family found out.

Yu Hongchang stood at the entrance of the training grounds, watching that aloof figure strolling out. He couldn’t help muttering to the person beside him. “I thought he would have taken at least three years. I never expected him to come out in just one year.”

The Yu Family Head was also deep in thought. “He is a holder of the purple-tinted gold orchid badge after all… oh yes, the Dugu Family sent us an invitation today. Should we have Master Yu go tomorrow as well?”

“Where is she?” He took off his jacket, his voice sharp and clear.

“Ms Su and her friends are all at Monster University.” Chief detective instantly knew who Yu Shijin was referring to and had already prepared the information. “They are starting military training tomorrow.”

“Who is their instructor?” Yu Shijin hung up his clothes before flipping through the information with his long, slender fingers.

He estimated that there was not much time left.

The Chief detective didn’t hesitate in his reply. “It is someone from the International Association’s military base.”

“Military base?” Yu Shijin’s eyes dimmed. He said in a very low voice, “Have that person pass his instructor badge to me.”

“Huh?” Chief detective was dumbstruck. He never expected such an answer.

Instructor badge?

Wait a minute. He couldn’t possibly be thinking of that?!

Yu Shijin took out his cell phone and shot the Chief detective a look. His tone was dangerous. “Is there anything else?”

The Chief detective immediately straightened himself and saluted. “I will get down to it, sir!”

After the Chief detective left, Yu Shijin placed the documents on the table.

He then took a shower and changed into fresh clothes, before heading out with his cell phone.

His phone was new, but the SIM card was the same.

Yu Shijin lowered his eyes and clicked on a profile icon. He sent a message: Where are you?
