Chapter 120: Qingqing Makes Her Move

“This is at the request of the Dugu Family. If you refuse, it will make things awkward between both sides.” The person was the Yu Family’s butler. He succinctly pointed out the key concern.

Yu Shijin smirked, his voice maintaining its usual coldness. “I am to meet her?”

“Master Yu, I am glad you agreed.” The Yu Family butler heaved a sigh of relief.

Thinking that Yu Shijin had assented, he felt that Madam’s worries were completely unfounded.

But soon after, Yu Shijin placed one hand on the table and said frostily, “And then kill her?”

The atmosphere turned to ice.

The Yu Family butler was utterly thunderstruck. His eyes widened in shock.

“Have the Dugu Family get out of Green City as soon as possible. I have no time to waste on them.” Yu Shijin took out one of the documents and started to flip through it. His jaw was tightly clenched and his eyes full of malevolence.

The Yu Family butler glanced down and saw the clear palm print that Yu Shijin had left on the table.

His heart turned cold.

“There’s no need for you to do much. Just spare a bit of time to meet her…” He stuttered as he spoke.

Yu Shijin slowly glanced up and looked calmly at the butler. His voice turned even colder. “You can get lost now.”

The Yu Family butler was dumbstruck. So frustrating. How he wished to kick this jerk straight to hell!

But glancing at the clear palm print on the table, he just replied, “Alright Master Yu, your wish is my command.”

Chief detective waited for the butler to leave before going upstairs and knocking on the study door.

“Enter.” The word was uttered coldly.

He opened the door and entered, to see Yu Shijin standing by the window smoking. He appeared to be deep in thought.

He looked as cold and lonesome as the light reflected by fresh snow. Clear and pristine.

“Master Yu, we just received news that the Ning Family has just made their move against Green City.” Chief detective reported with a grim face.

Yu Shijin tilted his head slightly, his smile chilly and vicious. “Is it Ning Wenjun?”

“Master Ning has no idea of the matter. The Ning Family butler should be the one behind it all.” Chief detective thought for a moment. “Do you want me to go inform Master Ning?”

A dark glint flashed across Yu Shijin’s eyes.

He recalled the news that Su Huiqing announced last night.

She must have known about the Ning Family since yesterday.

The Ning Family had dominated the capital for so many years… they were now actually trying to reach into his territory.

“You don’t need to bother about this matter.” He walked to the side of the table and put out his cigarette. He lowered his eyes and said in a low voice, “Let them be.”

Chief detective was shocked.

He knew that the Ning Family was Master Yu’s maternal side of the family.

Did Master Yu mean… he would not bother the Ning Family?

Could he be… allowing the Ning Family to do as they please?

If he knew the Ning Family was making their move against the Su Family, he would be utterly shocked at Yu Shijin’s two-faced behavior.

The cell phone on the table rang.

Chief detective tactfully left the room and closed the door.

Yu Shijin looked down at the cell phone. He watched the flashing caller ID for some time before reaching out to swipe across the screen.

He brought the phone up to his ears. “Mother.”

“It has been two months. Are you still coming back to the International Association?” A beautiful and gentle voice sounded out from the phone. “Leave those insignificant Green City matters to the Chu family.”

Yu Shijin leaned against the table, his cold eyes narrowing. “I am sorry, I can’t go back yet.”

The person on the other end of the phone was clearly taken aback.

After a short moment of stunned silence, Ning Baokun spoke up again, her voice as gentle as always. “As long as you know what you are doing. I can’t hold down the fort here for much longer.”

“That’s fine.” Yu Shijin continued mildly. “I am not interested in the International Association anyway.”

“Let’s not talk about that. I heard from the butler that you don’t wish to meet Ms Dugu?” Ning Baokun sighed with a frown. “With your status, don’t you think you will offend the Dugu Family if you don’t return?”

“I know my limits.” Yu Shijin exchanged a few more words with Ning Baokun before hanging up.

He was engulfed in a chilly aura.

He didn’t wish to think about other matters for the moment.

How could he possibly leave at such a time.

At the Su Corporation, Su Huiqing typed in the final word before printing out the entire document.

She closed the laptop.

“Okay.” She took up her bag from the table and hoisted it behind her. “Thank you everyone for your hard work today.”

As she walked out, she took out her cell phone and keyed in a long chain of commands, entering the Demon Concentration Camp.
