The group of men who had followed Yu Shijin out had unwittingly fallen over.

Dumbstruck, they glanced back and forth between Su Huiqing and Yu Shijin, before breaking out in dazed expressions.

“Are you all very free?” Yu Shijin’s glared harshly at the bunch of men.

The vice chief detective brushed the dust off his body and waved. “No… no…”

He then quickly boarded the military vehicle which they had driven over in.

Yu Shijin finally turned back and looked at Su Huiqing, who was still leaning casually against the car.

She was looking at him with a tilted head and a lazy smile.

He drew out a cigarette from his pocket with one hand, while the other was already clicking on his black lighter.

His actions were relaxed but his lowered eyes were cold and heavy.

In the end, he seemed to have thought of something, and so shoved the lighter back in his pocket.

He then lifted his eyes to look at Su Huiqing, his gaze full of surging emotions.

He heard Su Huiqing’s question very clearly and noted in particular that she had said “Young Mistress of the Su Family”, and not “me”.

“You helped Xuning and the rest, so it is only fair that I help you in return.” Yu Shijin stuffed one hand into his pocket and returned Su Huiqing’s look.

The hand inside that pocket was clenched into a tight fist.

“Get in.” After keeping silent for a few seconds, his eyes turned a shade cooler as he gazed at Su Huiqing’s pale face. He pulled open the car door. “I will drive you home.”

Su Huiqing didn’t get any rest while she was inside the little black room. She fell asleep almost immediately the moment she boarded the car.

Her lashes cast faint shadows on her face.

Yu Shijin pursed his lips as he glanced at her. His expression remained cold and distant but he quietly slowed down the speed of the car.

The Su Family residence was not far away and Su Huiqing opened her eyes the moment they arrived at their destination. She opened the door and alighted.

But she didn’t leave immediately. Instead, she turned and bent over slightly to look at Yu Shijin. Her long black hair flowed past her shoulders, covering half her face.

“I forgot to mention.” Su Huiqing’s lips curled up. “Thank you for today.”

Yu Shijin could see those sparkling eyes of hers. His hands remained on the steering wheel as he repeated. “It is only fair.”

Only after Su Huiqing left did he finally lean back and lit a cigarette.

His handsome face was shrouded in the cigarette smoke.

His cell phone rang. It was Chu Xuning.

“Speak.” He answered the phone coldly.

Chu Xuning’s heart skipped a beat. “Master Yu, the initial investigations showed that Shen Anan is largely involved in this matter.” Chu Xuning glanced at the surveillance footage. “When Ms Su was in the little black room, Shen Anan… purposely went over to take a look.”

“Purposely went over?” Yu Shijin put out his cigarette as his voice turned even frostier. “Since she is so curious about the little black room, then let her try it out herself. Go over to the Shen Family.”

With that, he gave one final look at the entrance of the Su Family residence before driving off.

The police station.

A whole bunch of people were watching Chu Xuning make that phone call.

Qin Dui had yet to regain his color and he looked at Chu Xuning in a daze. “You… who the hell are you guys?”

Chu Xuning did not hesitate at all upon receiving Yu Shijin’s orders. He put his cell phone back in his pocket.

“Of all the people, you just had to lock up Ms Su.” Chu Xuning looked at Qin Dui with pitying eyes. “You better buck up and hand over everyone involved. Only then can you lessen your own punishment. But even if you insist on keeping mum… in this world, there is nothing that Master Yu cannot uncover.”

“Let’s go.” Chu Xuning waved. “We are going to the Shen Family residence.”

Behind him, Superintendent Hong looked on at Qin Dui, who was being held between two men. “I already warned you before.”

At this moment, Shen Anan still had no idea what was happening.

She had been waiting for an update since calling Qin Dui earlier, but had yet to receive any news.

In the end, she couldn’t resist phoning Qin Dui. But the call was cut off after two rings.

Shen Anan felt somewhat uneasy.

A servant walked in at this moment to tell her that someone called Qin Dui was outside waiting for her.

Yu Shijin turned and revealed his flawlessly handsome face. It was a face whom one did not easily forget.

Shen Anan immediately remembered seeing him at the predecessor training class. “You…”

Yu Shijin ignored her but just glanced at Qin Dui. “Is this her?”

Qin Dui nodded, his face pale.

“Very good.” Yu Shijin’s lips finally curled up in a chilly smile. He then commanded coldly, “Arrest her.”
