She would head out after settling two people.

This was the first time Su Jiu heard Su Huiqing’s voice after close to a month.

It was said through a phone, but he could feel the charisma from her tone alone.

He had been tidying up his thoughts throughout his entire journey back from the International Association, why was it Su Huiqing?

“God Qing?” Su Jiu could not help but get shocked at the news. He replied while holding onto his phone, “Leader Jiang, this joke isn’t funny.”

God Qing, the lead racer of the International Association’s racing team and a renowned celebrity standing on the international peak. Nobody knew how he accomplished all of that. The only fact outsiders were aware of was that even the top powers in the International Association did not dare to touch him easily.

He was just like the racing king, a character who only existed in legendary stories.

“Do you think we didn’t try to persuade him before? It’s just that nobody could change his decision,” Leader Jiang stopped for a moment before adding, “You should be aware that God Qing’s identity will definitely create chaos wherever he goes. Many people from the International Association want to lay their hands on him. They just can’t touch him in the International Association, so I’m afraid they will try their luck in Green City.”

“Okay, I got it,” Su Jiu said as he squinted his eyes. He continued, “If there’s anything I can do to help God Qing in Green City, I’ll definitely try to help.”

Outside the door, the car that drove Su Huiqing stopped. She alighted from it, carrying her bag on her back.

The corners of her lips were curving upwards slightly and she looked like she was in a good mood. She walked towards her house with a speed neither too fast nor too slow.

On the way, the maids called her ‘Missy’ in delight.

Su Huiqing tilted her head slightly, looking as beautiful as a painting.

She smiled and waved at them. It was not a deliberate action, it was just like any casual behavior she had when facing her normal friends.

After entering the house, she threw her bag on the table and received the cup of milk given by a maid. Gulping it down, she threw a lazy and casual smile back at the maid.

Then, she turned around and greeted the two people in the main lobby with an extremely natural tone, “Little Uncle, Uncle Chen, I’m back.”

Her voice was cold and slack.

Su Jiu clearly paused for a second. Then, he marched towards her in a threatening manner and whacked her head harshly. “Uncle Chen, is my Mum back yet?” She scanned her surroundings but did not spot Su Ruohua anywhere.

Uncle Chen just came back from printing a pile of information at the study room on the second floor. He handed them to Su Jiu and answered, “Madam came home once in the afternoon. She headed straight for the Charity Gala after that and will only be back at 9pm.”

“I’ll pick her up after I’m done with my homework.” Su Huiqing squinted her eyes.

Shen Anan probably devised another plan after spluttering out those words just now.

She needed to understand the current situation from Su Ruohua, she could not just accept it passively like this.

“Mum, don’t worry,” She placed the jacket over Su Ruohua’s shoulders and hugged her. Smirking slightly, she said, “I’ll get the top score on this mock-examination for you.”

Shocked, Su Ruohua lifted her head and she met eyes with Su Huiqing’s gorgeous and stunning face.
