Chapter 45: The Person Instigating Behind You

Su Family, Su Huiqing.

Those four words were powerful and resonating.

Not only Shen Anan and Zhang Mingxi, who had just entered, but even the person sitting inside a black car parked outside of Zhang Corporation was shocked.

“That brat is ferocious!” Chu Xuning held a stack of documents. The moment he rolled down the car window, he heard those four words.

Although he did not watch the live stream, Chu Xuning could imagine the look she had when she said those words.

She must be staring at the camera with a chilly smile.

Even though he was not at the scene, he knew the people at the conference were dumbstruck because the voices coming from the laptop turned instantly quiet.

“Young Master Yu, these are all the information I found about Su Huiqing.” Chu Xuning momentarily paused before passing over the documents to Yu Shijin.

Yu Shijin placed one hand on his knee while his other hand gripped the laptop. He paused the laptop screen at that beautiful figure.

When he heard Chu Xuning’s words, his slender fingers took the documents, but his eyes never left the laptop screen.

Chu Xuning had already placed his hands inside his pockets and wanted to leave when he suddenly remembered a baffling situation. “Oh right, when I visited Chi Yue today, I realized that he is investigating Miss Su, too.”

After he had said his sentence, he didn’t see what took place next.

Yu Shijin stopped his movements and after a long while, he turned his head slightly to look at Chu Xuning. “Go to the press conference.”

Sunlight shone down through the window, and it enveloped his face. Under the sunlight, his defined features looked lonely and cold.

“You are letting me go?” Chu Xuning stared at him in shock. Did Young Master Yu want him to support the Su Family?

“You are the one collaborating with Su Corporation. If you won’t go, then who will?” Yu Shijin lowered his eyes once again and rolled up the car window. His side view looked handsome and cold.

The black car slowly drove away and disappeared within the crowd of cars, but the purple orchid on the hood of the car glimmered against the golden light.

Yu Shijin casually placed the laptop to the side and flipped through the documents. The more he looked, the more his expression became indiscernible. A hint of disappointment faintly glossed through his cold eyes.

He put his phone down and placed the laptop on his lap. He then lit up a cigarette with his black lighter.

With the thick smoke surrounding him, he stared at the figure on the screen.

Someone opened the door once more.

He stood at the entrance and stared at the person who stood at the podium.

Her hands were placed on the table and her uniform appeared a little messy. She looked up with her black eyes towards him.

Xie Zhengyuan did not hesitate any longer and straightaway walked forward.

If one were to say that those families were still calm when the Yu Family appeared, they finally broke their calm demeanor into a shocked one when Xie Zhengyuan appeared!

“How can I be missing in such a large event?” A voice rang in the silent atmosphere.
