“What if I don’t care if you are a divorcee!” He finally said, following his heart and verbalized his decision after struggling with himself.

He thought that these words would be enough for this woman to let go of her anxiety and wariness. Unfortunately, he was wrong.

He Xiyan felt even worse as she remembered that day. If she had told him then, their relationship would have ended at that point. Then, he would not have dropped by her flat for a meal and neither would his mother gift her presents, all these things would not have happened.

In any case, everything was her fault. She had thought that they could be friends, but she was wrong. A single, young man would not want to be on purely planktonic terms with another woman.
