The next day.
Jessy arrived in Oliver's apartment at 9:00 in the morning.
Oliver looked at Jessy with admiration in his eyes.
"Partner! Good job last night. You managed to find the missing girl Adelyn and you save her life from that rotten rapist-killer! Finally, the poor girl's family who died in the massacre can now rest in peace in heaven, and Adelyn can start forgetting the harrowing torture she undergoes in the hands of that despicable bastard!" Oliver said, his voiced full of anger towards the killer.
Jessy released a deep sigh. "I'm feeling sad for Adelyn. She will be constantly reminded of what happened to her due to the baby that she was carrying inside her tummy," she commented in a gloomy voice.
"Yeah, I guess so. But she always has a choice, after giving birth to the baby, she has an option to give up her baby for adoption. That would solve the problem," Oliver said.
"I dunno... partner. Did you saw those burn all over her body that looks like it was periodically inflicted on her body? She will be reminded of her abductor's evilness every time she looks in the mirror. She will be scarred for life. Her life will never be the same. I...just feel so sad for the girl," Jessy said, she still can't get over on what happen to the girl, it feels traumatic to her. Tears shimmered in her eyes.
Oliver released a deep sigh.
"You know what—?" she asked.
"What—?" Oliver said.
"Some humans are just pure evil, they can kill and hurt anybody without remorse. Unfortunately, it would be hard to detect these kinds of people with hidden inner killing instincts," Jessy observed sadly.
Oliver nods his head. "Yeah, you're right. As long... some people are hiding killing instinct inside themselves, then no one will be safe. Don't worry about Adelyn's condition, she will be taken care of and she will undergo trauma counseling to make her feel better," he declared.

There was silence in the living room for a moment.
"Ah, I will tell you of another good news to cheer you up!" Oliver blurted out.
"What is it?"
"Do you remember that financier of the hostage-takers? The username and password you give me to access the messaging app?"
"Yeah, what about it?"
"They traced that guys contact in Singapore. It turns out, that guy in Singapore is the main guy who pulls all the strings. He got many people under his payroll to do everything for him. Their specialty was diverse such as extortion, mass killings, terrorist bombings, kidnapping, human trafficking, and other illegal activities. It's the biggest crime syndicate that has been operating all over Southeast Asia," he elaborated further. "There will be a string of arrest all over the Southeast Asian countries in the coming days. And your greatest contribution in this... was that you were able to help topple one of the most notorious and secretive syndicates in Asia. It's going to be the first of its kind in this century and hope not the last one, partner! I am proud of you!" Oliver clapped his hands in glee uttering his praises to his partner.
Jessy smiled a little. "Good to know that," she murmured.
"Because of the good news, we'll have a celebration today! What do you want to eat for lunch? I will order a sumptuous lunch for you as a reward," Oliver grinned.
Jessy smiled. "Now you're talking! It's up to you what you wanted to order." She leaves the decision to him.
"Okay, I'll order the dishes that I think is delicious," he said looking at the different menu on his food delivery app.
"Partner, can you give me the Top 10 Most Wanted list in our city?" Jessy asked.
He picked up the envelope from under the center table and handed it to his partner. "Here..."

Jessy reached for the piece of paper from the envelope and began reading it. "What about this list that you wrote Top 3 Oldest criminals in the Top 10 Most Wanted?" she asked in confusion.
"Ah, that one? That is the top 3... the oldest. I mean those three people are fugitives and still at large. They could be out of the country and living peacefully in another country, or they're still here... hiding and probably living in another city or already dead," Oliver explained.
"I see... so you want me to prioritize these cases first that ranges from 5 to 10 years old, so old already," Jessy commented.
"Yeah. But if you want, you can choose from the latest crimes and solved them first. You can choose what to solve based on your preference. I just categorized them by the recent and oldest date. Just take your time, I'm just curious how you can solve those cases that have been forgotten by the masses due to old age?" Oliver asked curiously.
Jessy was silent for a moment.
Indeed, how can she catch those fugitives?
"Do you have the names and addresses of the fugitives family, friends, or lover?"
"Yes, I made a list of them and put a person to track their relatives and love ones. I have their addresses as well... where they work, sexual orientation, and so on," answered Oliver.
"Good! I can visit them anytime and read their minds every single one of them. I'm sure that if these fugitives are still alive until now, they will surely contact their loved ones by any means possible, even if it's only once in a while," Jessy revealed her plan.
Oliver gives her a thumb up.
"Ahh, mind-reading is indeed the best tool you can use to track those fugitives because Police Officers can not detain the criminals' relatives and forced or torture them to reveal those fugitives' whereabouts. What a splendid idea, partner!"
"It's a tedious process actually... but it's the only effective way to find out the criminals hiding place," Jessy stated.
"You are correct, partner!" Oliver agreed.
Jessy began reading aloud one of the fugitives info.
"Let's start with Jason Garcia. He was convicted of fifteen counts of drug trafficking and conspiracy charges. He is a Drug Boss, he is the founder of a drug trafficking organization in the city and other neighboring cities. He was believed to have murdered 19 people in the past. He was responsible for illegal activities in the city. He is short-tempered and always carries a gun with him. He killed an undercover agent. He's been at large since ten years ago. The FBI is offering a $1 million reward for any information leading to his arrest and capture."
Done reading, Jessy looked at Oliver.
"You want to ask if the $1 million rewards will be given to you if you successfully located the fugitive?" asked Oliver.
"What if I told you that I'm interested," Jessy grinned.
"Ah, don't count much on it, partner, because you are considered one of us now. But if indeed it will be awarded to you, what will you do with the money?" he asked.
"I will donate the money to the different charity organizations operating in the city," she answered.
Oliver smiled. "That's a brilliant idea, partner! I wish you good luck!"
"We'll start the investigation after lunch, partner," Jessy informed him.
"Yes Boss!" he answered.
Jessy continues reading the information of the Most Wanted Criminals along with the crimes they have committed in their lives.

Naruto Retsuden: Toru
[SI/OC Third Shinobi War]Well fought and well done. All of us fight as one. It took me three years to be able to properly read the faded out kanji of the flimsy poster that I keep in my back pocket. The illustration is colourful, bright reds and yellows. Colours that would definitely catch the attention of a child. The poster was carefully placed along the walls and fences of my village, level with the height of a four year old. I thought enlisting to become a Shinobi was a heroic deed, something I needed to do to save my family from poverty and to serve my country at the cusp of war. Then I graduated early to be deployed to the front lines.I am sadly and sorely mistaken. Warnings:Slow-burnNO OP-NESSRomance? What romance?
