The Last Embrace Chapter 458

"My name is Adelyn, that evil guy killed my entire family, pointed a gun on my head and abducted me from my house then held me as a prisoner inside his basement and rape and torture me daily, he only stopped torturing me physically after he got me pregnant," the girl was sobbing hysterically.
"Shhh...calm down Adelyn...from now on that guy will never hurt you ever again," Jessy promised as fresh tears fall from her eyes. She can't imagine an innocent girl will be subjected to this kind of torture. It's inhuman!
Jessy gritted her teeth in anger.
She wanted to kill that bastard upstairs!
"Adelyn, wait here, okay? I will call the cops so that they can rescue you..." she said softly.
"Please don't leave me alone here, I'm scared!" the girl shouted in a frightened voice.
Jessy waved her hand and freeze the hysterical girl.
She exited the basement, went to the kitchen and found a sharp knife, she snatched it from its holder.
She hurriedly went upstairs... her eyes blazing in rage.
Grrrr!
She wanted to kill someone evil tonight!
She will stab the guy's body several times until he dies in agony!
She already reached the top of the stairs...then all of a sudden...she realized that killing that guy might jeopardize her mission.
Dammit!
She can't afford that to happen. Under the law of humans, one is not allowed to kill another person out of revenge unless it's done out of self-defense.
She remains rooted on the spot unable to continue to the room.
If she is not Agent X, that guy was already dead by now!
She went to the door and kicked it hard. "Fucker!"
Jessy went back downstairs and plopped down on the sofa, her nostrils flaring, she took her phone from her sling bag and placed a call to Oliver.

A minute later, Oliver's sleepy voice can be heard from the other end. "He...hello...partner, why are you calling me in the middle of the night?"
"Partner, wake up! I already found Adelyn alive! She was being held prisoner against her will in the basement of the killer's house. Come here with a backup and ambulance. Adelyn is in bad shape. I'm still in the same area, a few miles from the house where the massacre took place. I will alert you guys if you come near the area. Hurry up because I have a murderous intent to kill this rapist-killer guy!" she said.
"Jesus Christ! Calm down, Jessy. Don't kill that guy! It's against the law!" Oliver's voice suddenly comes alive. "I will go to the police station right now and make a report, just wait there! We'll arrive there shortly, stay calm and don't make any stupid move, got it partner?" he said.
"Fine, just hurry up!" Jessy said gritting her teeth.
And the line went dead.
Jessy closed her eyes, trying to control her boiling blood lust. That guy upstairs doesn't deserve to live another day, he should be killed and tortured, just the way he did to his victims, and right now she would very much want to end his life.
She opened the light in the living room and settled there.
She becomes restless in the sofa...
The more she stays inside the house the stronger the murderous intent is creating havoc in her reasoning and judgment.
She'd better get out of the house quick or else that guy upstairs will never see another day again.
Jessy exited the house and hovered up in the air.
She looked around her as far as her eyes can see.
The night is calm and peaceful and everyone was already sleeping soundly in their houses.

Everything around her is peaceful...
But her troubled mind is not!
She inhales and exhales air in her lungs until calmness takes over her raging emotion.
Ah, she feels better now.
She will just wait for Oliver and the ambulance before she comes back inside the house. That way she can prevent herself from murdering that despicable rotten guy upstairs.
Thirty minutes later.
In the far distance, she can see three cars on the highway heading towards her direction.
She immediately went back inside the house and goes down to the basement, she entered the closed door where the pregnant girl was located. She ambled towards the bed, she placed her hands on the frozen girl's head and began erasing Adelyn's memory of her and their short conversation.
Done erasing Adelyn's memory of her, she left the basement and went to the living room and open the door wide for the law enforcers' easy access to the house.
She then exited the house and hovered in the air.
Her phone starts ringing. It's her partner calling her asking for directions.
"Oliver, proceed to the second house on the east part, the one with a light on the veranda. I'm here waiting for your arrival," Jessy conveyed her instruction.
She settled on the veranda and waited for them.
A few minutes later.
Three cars arrived in front of the house. Oliver emerges from his car followed by the police officers as well the ambulance crew and sauntered to the veranda where Jessy was sitting.
Jessy stood up and went inside the house leading the people into the kitchen and they went down to the basement to see Adelyn.
Jessy opened the close door...
Adelyn's miserable, tragic and disturbing condition was seen for the first time by the law enforcers...from the cruel heavy chain attached on her hands and feet that were used to restrain her...to her disheveled unkempt hair...to her burn skin and worst to the bulge on her stomach...the disturbing view was too distressing and harrowing for anyone to see.
The law enforcers stared at Adelyn with tears on their eyes.
Jessy and Oliver left the scene to give way for the police officers and the ambulance crew to implement the procedures of documenting all the evidence inside the room before taking Adelyn away into the ambulance and bringing her to the hospital.
Jessy leads the two offices upstairs in the room where she freezes the guy.
They entered the room and Jessy unfreezes the guy instantly.
The police officers handcuffed the despicable guy's hands behind his back.
Jessy and Oliver went downstairs.
She exited the house and sat on the veranda.
"Are you okay, partner?" Oliver asked worriedly.
"I'm okay, I'm just bothered by what I see in that room inside the basement. Anyways, I'm glad that Adelyn is safe now. Partner, please asked the officers if they still need something from me because if there's nothing more, then I'm going home to rest," she said.
"Okay, wait here for a second," said Oliver and he entered the house.
A few moments later, he emerged from the house.
"Partner, you can go home now," Oliver informed her.
"Nice, I'm leaving now...see you tomorrow afternoon," she said and disappeared from his sight.
Oliver went back inside the house to prepare his report.

Naga rising (Final version)
Eshanai used to think that her life was pretty good, that the elders of her tribe of Naga sisters had their best interests at heart. But one suspiciously regular disaster after another sort of makes you question things. So when Eshanai decides to go out on the island to do the unthinkable, break some rules, and nothing terrible happens to her like the elders said it would, her questions start to multiply. What else could the elders be wrong about? Were the Naga really chosen by the spirits? And could there be other people out there, beyond their island? Follow Eshanai and some of her sisters as she tries to find a way to leave the island and comes up with increasingly creative ways to get into a certain Oni's pants. Author's note: This is not a rewrite of my original Naga rising story. It's more of a reimagining, as it contains many of the same characters and settings but will have a completely different plot. Be advised that the two are not related to one another. This should not be seen as any form of sequel or prequel story. So I have caught up to my backlog, and at first, I thought I could release a chapter once a week. That turned out to be unrealistic as I am writing in my spare time, so periods of inaction might not be uncommon. Some of the tags might not come into effect until later on in the story.
