The next day.
The royal couple entered the prison room. Their children were already gathered inside for the family meeting.
King Antone went to his oldest son's side. "Zain, is this true? You are now ready to leave this room and live together with Hannah and your son under one roof?"
Zain smiled at his father. "Yes, Father. All you heard is true. I will also announce to everyone that Jessy and I are no longer an official couple. We are going our separate ways. I'm ready to leave this room today, Father," he said.
"This is awesome! I'm happy that you finally realized that staying here is a waste of time. So, can we now schedule Hannah's blood transfusion tomorrow?" the king asked.
"Yes, Father. As soon as possible," Zain answered.
"Where do you want to stay, son? Here in the Facility or the Habitat?" the queen asked.
"In the Habitat of course. I already had the house ready, remember?" Zain reminded them.
"Ah, okay. Don't worry I will get the house ready so that you and Hannah can finally transfer there... after she is done with the blood transfusion," Queen Margaret stated.
"Thanks, Mother. I'm so ready to get out!" Zain said in a thrilling voice. The expression on his face was that of someone excited to face the world outside after a long time of hiding.
King Antone wrapped his arms around his oldest son affectionately. "Welcome back, son!" he said teary-eyed.
"Thank you, Father!" tears shimmered on Zain's eyes.
Everyone in the room was emotionally affected by this milestone. Comfortable silence descended upon them, as they kept their thoughts to themselves, savoring this momentous moment, enjoying their togetherness.
"I want a family hug!" Abigail exclaimed cheerfully.
The family member gathered closer to each other and finally initiated the group hug.
Queen Margaret can't contain her happiness. "I love you guys! You are my only treasures in life! Thanks for this wonderful day. I've been waiting for something like this to happen for a long time, finally, the long wait is over! I'm so happy today!" she smiled as tears of happiness fell from her eyes.

King Antone rubbed his wife's back gently. "Shh, don't cry wife! You're getting ugly if you cry!" he joked.
The children erupted in peals of laughter.
Queen Margaret elbowed her husband. "You're so mean!" she pouted.
They looked at each other feeling happy.
A few moments later.
"Alright, let's go now, Zain. From now on you no longer have to stay in this room. You are free to join us outside!" King Antone declared.
Every one disengaged themselves from the group hug and ready to leave the room.
Zain picked up his bag that contains his clothes and meager belongings and went to Adam's side. "I will visit you here from time to time, brother. Don't worry, I will set Jessy free tonight!" he promised.
"Thanks, brother," Adam smiled.
One by one, they were getting out of the room, except Adam.
King Antone was the last one to go, he went to Adam's side and hugged him. "Thank you, son, for helping your brother. Will you be okay — being alone here?" he asked in a concerned voice.
"Don't worry about me, Father. I have my gadgets here with me, besides my sister brings me foods three times a day. I still have someone to talk to in case I'm getting lonely," he explained.
"Nice to hear that, son. I gotta go. Your mother and I will visit you here frequently, take care of yourself," King Antone said, he patted his son's shoulder and moves away, walking towards the door.
"Bye Father," Adam said.
"Bye son," King Antone waved at Adam before he closes the door behind him.
Adam went to bed and lie down. Now, he got the room all to himself. He closed his eyes for a moment savoring the joy of his success. Finally, today, he was triumphant in obtaining Jessy's freedom from his brother.
...
Inside the clinic.
Jessy was undergoing a blood transfusion session with one of the recipients when the smiling Princess Abigail entered the door.

"Hi, Jess! You will receive good news tonight at 10 in the evening! Be sure you are in your room or much better you go to your parent's room so that you have someone to celebrate the good news with!" the princess said in a thrilled tone.
Jessy raised her brows. "What this good news is all about?" she asked out of curiosity.
"Secret! See you tomorrow!" the princess walked away from Jessy and ambled towards the door.
Princess Abigail waved at Jessy goodbye before she left the room.
Jessy was left in the clinic bed wondering what the good news is all about? The only thing that registered in her mind — Abigail is just going to play a prank on her.
She smiled. Fine, she will play her game tonight.
Two hours later at 9:30 in the evening.
Jessy exited the clinic and went to her parent's room as per the princess's instruction.
"Daughter, how's the blood transfusion today?" Hector asked.
"Fine as always, Dad," Jessy responded.
Sarah asked, "What time you will finish blood transfusion tonight?"
"At midnight, Mom," replied Jessy. "I will just close my eyes for a few minutes," she answered and settled herself on the sofa, shutting her eyes to rest.
A few minutes later.
The intercom suddenly comes alive and made a crackling noise.
The intercom was built in every room, this is to ensure fast communication between the management and the inhabitants, just in case the Facility and the Habitat are attacked by the enemy and everyone can be alerted quickly to rush into the tunnel, at once.
A male voiced began talking...
~
"Hello...good evening everyone! How are you? I hope everyone is already resting in their rooms at this time. Prince Zain here.
Guys, please listen because I have an important announcement to make tonight. Maybe you have noticed my absence for a while. The truth is I'm undergoing some mental and emotional issues for a while and my marriage to Jessy did not work as planned. It's difficult to stay in a loveless marriage, therefore, I'm setting Jessy free and wish her well with her new endeavors in life. Starting today my marriage with Jessy is no longer valid. We will be going our separate ways and remain friends.
I'm going to focus on my young family and live in Habitat together with Hannah and our son. Jessy and I would like to ask for your understanding and blessing during this new phase of our lives. Thank you all for your support. That's all for tonight. Rest well, everyone!"
~
The intercom went silent.
Hector and Sarah stared at each other, looking at their daughter, still reeling from the news, a wide smile broke into their faces.
Jessy's eyes widened in surprised and shocked, she was speechless for a moment.
"Holy Guacamole! OMG! Is this true!?" Jessy shrieked, she finally regained her voice.
"Yes. It's true daughter, you're finally free from your disastrous marriage with Zain!" the couple shouted in glee, feeling elated for their daughter's freedom.
"Yes! I'm free...finally!" Jessy screamed in jubilation.
Unable to contain her happiness, Jessy jumped up and down on the floor.
Amused, Hector and Sarah watched their only child acting like six years old in a hyper state.
Jessy finally ceased her jumping and sank into the sofa, the feeling of bliss still lingered in her lips, her whole face was glowing radiantly.
She needs to celebrate her happiness with Adam!
That's right!
She got to see him now!

The day they became Mortal
Paladins and Vampires have always been sworn enemies. While the Paladins were blessed with the power of Apollo, made to heal and to wield the power of light itself, the vampires were immortal beings with heightened senses, strength and speed. For centuries the two lived in general peace, while the paladins built their kingdom Appollis, the vampires resided in the sanguine lands of Sareth. All changed however when an unknown paladin poisoned the special water supply of the vampires with Blackrye, a plant that to the vampire's horror removed their right to eternal life. No longer protected from illness or the relentlessness of time the vampires were forced to indulge in more blood. Soon enough a war broke out between the two kingdoms, a war that would cost the life of King Barron of Appollis and the sanity of Queen Diana of Sareth. Their heirs were too young to ascend the throne, forcing the two kingdoms to hastily form a truce until both princes were old enough to rule their lands. Five years after the blood war Arrin of Appollis and Ophyr of Sareth rule their respective kingdoms, despite having been kings for a few years and heavily disliking each other due to their past, they decided to keep the truce in place. What happens however when Arrin decides to kidnap the vampire king after he unfortunately stumbled upon Appollonian terrain?
