Queen Margaret sighed. "Jessy is a soft-hearted girl. But your father has his own rules to follow and bending for Jessy is not his priority. He still and always be affected by the events of the fast."

"I understand my father's principle. But I also understand Jessy's point of view. They are both right. Anyways, where is father right now?"

"He has not come back yet from the cave. I wonder what took him so long in there?" the queen was frowning.

"Could it be that he had a change of mind and slaughtered all the savage vampires?" Adam took a wild guess.

Queen Margaret was shaking her head. "That bothered me also. He told me that he will only kill the leader tonight and spare the rest."

"Mom you need to go back to the Facility while I'm going to teleport to the cave to check what's happening there," he said.

"Okay, I'm leaving now. When is Jessy returning to the Facility?"

"She told me that she will return tomorrow and resume blood transfusion. Please, don't worry anymore, Mother," Adam said trying to ease the stress on her mother's face.

"Alright, I'm going back now to the Facility," Queen Margaret replied.

She suddenly vanished from Adam's sight.

Adam went inside his room and looked at Jessy, she was still sleeping soundly in the bed tucked under the cover.

He initiated the teleportation process in his mind.

A minute later he landed outside the cave's entrance. He noticed that his father's men are no longer guarding the entrance. Although he can see a few of them still scattered outside. It's already 3:00 in the morning and the sun will be shining soon, it's not good for them to be still outside when the sun is already out on the horizon. They should go back to the Facility as soon as possible.

"Where is my father?" he asked the person nearby.

"The king already went home back to the Facility," the guy answered.

"When?"

"Just a few minutes ago."

"What happened inside? I mean...he didn't slaughter the entire savage clan?" he asked.

The guy shook his head. "No, they're still alive inside the cave," he answered.

"Good," he felt relieved. "And why are you still here?"

"The king ordered us to guard the place. When the daylight starts to appear on the horizon we will take refuge inside the cave," he answered.

"Good, I'm leaving now. Guard the place well," he said.

The guy nodded his head.

Adam teleported back into the city inside his room in the condo. Jessy was in the same position when he left her. He eases behind her and resumed hugging her from behind, she moaned a bit when his body pressed on hers. "I love you," he whispered into her ears.

She didn't reply.

Adam smiled and shut off his eyes ready to sleep his face pressed on her nape.

The next day.

When Jessy wakes up the next morning, she was greeted with the enticing aroma of creamy carbonara, crispy tempura-battered shrimp, lasagna and hot chocolate coffee placed in the food tray above the table.

"Wow, yummy! I'm getting hungry all of a sudden," she grinned while looking at Adam lying beside her in the bed.

"Rise and shine, my love. Breakfast is ready!" he chuckled.

"You went outside the condo to buy it? You shouldn't bother," she said.

"No, I didn't. I just went down on the ground floor and ordered those foods in the restaurant there. It's pasta dishes for breakfast today, hope you like my choices for a change," he said.

"I like it very much!" she beamed.

Without further ado, Jessy rolled out of the bed and went inside the bathroom to gurgle water on her mouth. When she exited the bathroom, Adam already placed the food tray above the bed to jump-start their breakfast.

"Let's eat!" they uttered in unison and laughed at the same time.

Adam pile foods on Jessy's plate, then he also filled his plate and they began eating the delicious dishes in front of them.

The couple chewed on their foods silently savoring the creamy flavor of the dishes.

A few minutes later. The plates were now empty except for the chocolate coffee.

They took their cups and began sipping their coffee.

"You want to go back to the Facility right away? You can stay here in my place the whole day if you want," he suggested. "Or you can go with us, we will have a photoshoot in the studio later in the afternoon, until 5:00," he offered.

Jessy shook her head. "Thanks for the offer. I will go back to the Facility to resume blood transfusion," she responded.

"Okay, as you wish," Adam said.

One hour later.

Adam and Jessy exited the bedroom and went to the kitchen to wash the dishes. They spotted Caden sipping his coffee in the terrace, smiling and waving at them.

Done washing dishes. They come back to the bedroom.

Jessy was now ready to go. She hugged Adam and kissed him wet on the lips. "Thanks for the delicious breakfast! I love you so much!"

"I love you too!" he responded. "Wait...I'm going with you to the facility then I will return here before lunch," he said.

"Okay, let's go!" she said.

The couple teleported into the Facility outside the clinic door.

"I will visit, Mother," he said.

"OK, go ahead," she mumbled.

Jessy entered the clinic and greeted the doctor. "Good morning, Doc! I'm sorry for my absence. Now that I'm already here, let's start the blood transfusion!" she smiled cheerfully at him.

"Nice to see you again, Jess. Just wait for a second 'coz I'm going to get the recipient from the adjacent room," he said.

"Take your time, Doc. I'm not going anywhere," she said.

The physician gets out of the clinic and went to the next room.

The doctor returned with a recipient and then have him lay in the vacant bed. Then he began putting the IV drips in place, and began inserting the needle into the recipient's vein and quickly removed it after the plastic tube was already inserted into the vein, he did the same to Jessy.

The blood transfusion went smoothly.

Jessy glanced at the window and her eyes widened when she saw Adam, King Antone, and RODEN! outside looking at her through the window. She covered her mouth with her free hand in total surprise!

The king was talking to Roden animatedly while Roden was listening to the king in awe.

Jessy can't believe her eyes, what the heck happened?

Tears of happiness formed in her eyes.

King Antone and Roden waved their hands at her, she waved back, and they walked away from the window.

Adam went inside the clinic.

"What's going on?" Jessy asked in puzzlement.

Adam grinned. "Turns out, my father didn't kill Roden. He brought Roden here to give him a tour of his new home and explained the rules here and show him how blood transfusion was done inside the clinic," he explained. "Are you happy now?"

"Yes, very much!" Jessy squealed in happiness.
