The Last Embrace Chapter 369

His companion standing beside him was grinning maniacally, his blood lust eyes shining brightly at the people cowering in fear before them. "Let's continue the party!" he shouted.
They aimed their rifles at the terrified people on the floor ready to unleash death...
'Fuckers, sick psychos!' Jessy swore profanities to herself.
She waved her hand immediately freezing the gunmen instantly on the spot!
Before a single bullet can be fired from the rifles of the assailants, everyone was already frozen inside the disco club.
Jessy's eyes were blazing in anger while approaching the gunmen.
Do these men deserve to live another day?
Never...
What's the use and point of putting these sick men inside the jail and waste taxpayers' money after they already killed and wounded several people tonight?
Where is the justice?
Since these men like brutal execution-style and ready to die then she will let these men have a taste of their own medicine before they will go to hell tonight!
She wielded her power, separating the rifle from the hands of one of the gunmen, then she unfreezes the man and fired the gun into his widen eyes...five bullets smashed his skull in succession...good amount of blood and bits of pieces of his brain splattered everywhere.
Unblinking, Jessy did the same to the second guy.
Done!
"Good riddance!" she spits into their bullet-riddled faces.
She went to the toilet of the disco bar and washed away some of the blood that sprayed on her face. This is the worst part of the killing process, washing away somebody's blood. She's wanting to puke...
She's not satisfied because the smell of blood was still clinging to her clothes and skin. She needs to go home quickly and took a long shower, but she must open the main door first so that the medics and cops can get inside cause there still wounded victims that need immediate medical attention.
She exited the toilet and walked towards the main door and opened it, as expected, SWAT team, cops, and ambulance were already waiting outside.
Everyone was holding their breath, especially that they recently heard ten successive gunshots originating from the inside of the establishment and then total silence ensued...they were expecting more dead and wounded people inside.
Jessy went back inside...she can't unfreeze all people at the same time...or else stampede will take place.

She unfreezes the first five people near the door, as soon their consciousness returns and saw the door wide open behind them they rushed outside...
Jessy unfreezes more five people...ten people...another ten...and so on...until the only people left behind are the five wounded victims and the dead perpetrators themselves swimming in their blood.
Jessy unfreezes the remaining five victims.
The SWAT team was already inside the bloody area...checking everything from floor to ceiling...cops and ambulance personnel rushed inside to bring the wounded to the hospital.
The SWAT team and the cops stared at the gunmen shaking their head...it would be hard to identify them because their faces were already disfigured by the bullets.
There's one question burning in their mind—who's the one responsible and brave enough that overpowered and killed these gunmen?
The cops cordon the entire area as their investigation was going on.
The men in uniform were further baffled after done interviewing some of the survivors outside.
The survivors insisted that they never saw anyone firing guns at the killers. They all declared that when they opened their eyes they already saw the gunmen swimming in the pool of their blood.
So...who killed the gunmen?
That will be the headline of tonight's flash report! Jessy muses.
She left the disco bar then hovered in the air and teleported right inside her room in the facility longing for a long shower.
She landed in her room.
Dang!
Her clothes were covered with blood. She quickly discarded them on the floor and went inside the bathroom naked and took a long shower.
She only stops showering after one hour.
Feeling clean and fresh, she wore clean clothes and sat down on the bed. Dang! she remembered that she left the baby bassinet in the department store, she needs to get it back!
She made herself invisible again and quickly teleported into the department store, the store is already closed!
No problem, she zoomed inside the store and snatched the bassinet from the baggage area and left the store, then teleport back to her room in the Facility.
She placed the bassinet in her bed and went out of the room to go back to the clinic and resume blood transfusion.
...
The blood transfusion ended at 11:30 in the evening.

Crap!
The queen must be angry waiting for her at the clinic for more than one hour.
Jessy exited the clinic in haste. She walked hurriedly towards the study room to explain to the queen why she was being late.
She entered the study room.
The queen raised her head.
"Mother, I'm sorry I'm being late. I'm sorry that I keep you waiting here for one hour," she said feeling apologetic.
"Can you tell me the reason why?" Queen Margaret asked.
"I...I went to the city to buy a bassinet for Ruth's baby. There's a critical hostage situation happening near the store where I bought the bassinet..." she stopped talking.
"Continue. So—what did you do to them?" the queen asked, looking at the younger woman's face curiously.
"I...I decided to help immobilize the hostage-takers so that no more victims will die under their hands," Jessy explained.
"Really? What did you do to the hostage-taker?" Queen Margaret raised her brows asking for more info.
"I froze them and shoot them on their heads using their rifles," she confessed.
The queen fell silent, her eyes fixed on Jessy's face.
"Why did you kill them? Why not let the men in uniform arrest them instead?" the queen asked.
Jessy cleared her throat.
"Those psychos don't deserve to live another day. They were meant to kill everyone in that room if I didn't arrive on time, so I just finished them...based on their style," Jessy said in a low voice staring at the floor, waiting for the queen's scolding that never comes.
A sly smile appeared on the queen's lips.
"Bravo, child! I like the way you deliver justice, swift and flawless," Queen Margaret said admiring her daughter-in-law's boldness.
Jessy raised her head and smiled. 'Thank God!' she felt relieved.
"I don't mind you helping other people of your kind especially if they need saving, just don't abuse your power, okay?" the queen said in a firm voice.
"I won't, Mother!" Jessy replied.
"Alright, bring Ruth and the baby here. We need to send them home tonight before the night is over," Queen Margaret ordered.
"Yes Mother, I will go now and fetch them," Jessy hurriedly left the study room and sauntered towards her room to pick up the portable bassinet and bring it with her to the human's living quarters.
When she pushed the door open, Ruth was still wide awake but the baby was already sleeping soundly in the bed. She placed the portable bassinet in the bed.
Jessy smiled at Ruth. "Ready to go home tonight?"
"Yes! I can't wait...I'm dying to go home tonight! It's the only thing that keeps me going here through night and day," Ruth clapped her hands in glee.
"Okay, let's go!" Jessy said.
Ruth placed her sleeping daughter in the portable bassinet, then she looked at Jessy with gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you for the bassinet, Jess, it looks so cute!"
"Don't mind it, I'm glad you like the bassinet, it's my gift for your baby," Jessy said.
Ruth looked at the room for the last time, this room becomes her refuge for a short duration of time, they finally exited the door.
While they were walking in the hallway, Jessy glanced at Ruth's face, it's glowing with happiness and excitement.
Jessy felt happy for Ruth, her happiness was contagious.
A few minutes later.
They finally arrived in the study room.
Queen Margaret was waiting patiently for them, smiling the moment she spotted the adorable baby sleeping like an angel inside the portable bassinet. "What a cute baby!" she gushes.
"Good evening, my Queen!" Ruth bowed her head in greetings to the queen.
"How are you feeling today, Ruth?" the queen made small talk with the woman.
"I'm feeling great because I'm going home today! I'm super duper excited to go home and see my mother and father again! I missed them so much!" Ruth's voice was ecstatic.
"Very well, we're going to send you home in a moment..." Queen Margaret said and glanced at her daughter-in-law.
Jessy got the queen's message, she looked at Ruth and freeze her instantly. "I'm done, Mother," she said.
Queen Margaret went to Ruth's side and placed her hands on the frozen woman's head to start erasing her memory of the abduction.

Grey Worlds
A mysterious incident occurred on a otherwise normal science centered world where all of the children from the age range of eight to sixteen suddenly vanished. “Where have their kids gone and will they ever return?” The now childless parents never got to really ask that question, because a strange new element replaced their lost children. This element slowly mutated the various animals that they once ruled over with their technology to the point that they were immune to their modern weaponry. The barren land of savages on a continent far away from theirs also had their children taken, but they easily mutated just like the beasts and only grew stronger thanks to the incident. A revolution of animals eventually took place after the mutations started to cause the animals to understand just how badly the humans ruined their lives and planet. Humans were the slowest to figure out how to use this strange new element to evolve, while their opponents were evolving and growing stronger by the day they couldn’t even surpass their modern technology. When humanity was on the brink of extinction a long forgotten event finally ended and their children finally started to return from the various worlds they were summoned to! It turns out that the mysterious new element that they didn’t know what to call was mana and that it’s everywhere in some fantasy planets. The children brought back a increase in technology and techniques to grow stronger with, which caused the humans to finally be able to build safe havens for their race. They grew stronger and started to finally adapt to their brand new environment. This is the story of a orphan who was taken away from his world, before he could gain a sense of attachment to the world. Who only has his older sister to care about and how he ends up adapting to the new world in front of him.------------------Dog notes by doggo First 'five' chapters aren't what the story is really about and is more of a prologue. The reason why some are separated into parts is because Doggo originally posted them as a entire chapter. The main setting is Ghost's actual world and not any foreign world. So this story was already posted once to another site or this site three years ago… and Dog is finally ending that three year hiatus! The explanation on why Dog was on a three year hiatus would of been written in the review section, but rrl doesn't allow self reviews. I'd have to create a alt just to self review which they obviously don't want even tho I'd not give myself any stars so its going to be here instead. The update schedule is a chapter a week till Dog get a editor and then two chapters a week till Dog gets enough money to pay for Dog’s bills. The final goal is to release a chapter every other day. Dog writes 4k word chapters so they are about twice as long as some of the other authors so every other day is actually more like once a day. ------------------- The part that was supposed to be the 'review' which Dog wont bother editing out repeat infomation since it wasn't supposed to go here in the first place. The first thing Dog will go over is what changed for the first 5 chapters, so that anyone who still remembers Dog's little novel and wants to continue from where Dog originally left off can decide whether or not to reread it. Also Dog is moving over to qidan simply because dog like the app they have. Dog won't go premium even if Qidan tells dog to and will simply move back to royalroad or create a blog. The things that changed over the years are mainly two important things. The first is that Dog changed the first person point of view to a third person, because Dog read a really bad first person novel and it reminded dog of dogs own novel. Dog also changed the thoughts of the character to be - - instead of italics. Finally dog changed chapter 3 completely to make the mc not seem like a homicidal maniac and introduced a important character in chapter 3.What happened to do in the three years that dog was away? Was dog at college and now needs money to eat? Was dog off in space after successfully becoming a astronaut and has now returned home with a completed novel or two? The answer is actually quite plain dog graduated from highschool and was supposed to only spend a year at dogs owners house to choose what major dog wanted to go to college for.Dog didn't do that and is still stuck with dogs owners and is sick of being a neet. Dog wants to move and buy doggy food, but dog is antisocial and doesn't want to work a simple 9 to 5 job for the rest of dogs life. Dog is a reader before dog is a author and the reason why dog got into writing was because dog wanted to write a novel without all the things dog finds annoying. Dog spent the first year reading various novels and dropping various novels. Dog is all caught up and has to much free time on dogs paws. The first year that Dog took off was the very same year that qidan came out so dog was naturally overloaded with free chapters. But now that pemium exists dog naturally has to limit the amount dog can read. Dog is addicted to reading like my very own readers and can understand your frustrations for dog disappearing for 3 years.Dog decided that dog will go back to writing 2 years ago. Dog wanted a decent stockpile incase dog has any other emergency so dog didn't post for a year but then dog decided to change the point of view which took another year.Dog has a patreon page https://www.patreon.com/mclaindog but there isn't any tiers there or goals till dog gets a editor. My final goal is to release a chapter every other day, but as long as Dog gets a editor Dog will do two free chapters a week.Dog will probably also make a kofi for anyone who just wants to send dog a tip and can't afford to donate money monthly while maybe having bonus chapters if the tip jar gets filled.
