The Last Embrace Chapter 348

It's already eight o'clock in the evening.
The weather outside the Facility was clear.
Jessy teleported into the forest and landed inside the treehouse bringing her purchases for Jagger. She placed the shopping bag on the floor, then looked at him and smiled. "Hi, How are you today?"
"Hi, Jess! I'm fine," Jagger looked at the shopping bag. "What is that—?"
Jessy grinned. "Just some stuff, you will like them! Let me show you..."
She placed the five-kilo rice, slice bread, pail, plastic basin, and laundry soap on the floor, she glanced at Jagger and starts explaining... "You can cook rice if you want, just use the pot...then I also bought you this pail and plastic basin so that you can get water from the stream the easy way. This basin has many uses you can alternately use it to wash your dirty dishes such as plates, spoon and fork and the pot, or you may use it every time you want to wash clean your clothes. These pail and basin are useful for everyday household activities, use it whenever you want and here's also the laundry soap, you can wash your clothes with it..." she explained everything.
Jagger was speechless for a moment.
"You are bringing more things here every time you visit me," he commented. "And I can't thank you enough..."
Jessy nods her head. "Yeah, because you don't have much here...the house is bare...and you don't have money to buy stuff either, so, since I have the money I'm willing to provide those useful pieces of stuff for you...because I wanted to help you in any way I can," she said.
Jagger's mouth twitched amusingly.
"I won't be surprised if one day you will bring a curtain to decorate the window or bring a table and chairs here or bring your bed here," he said smirking.

Jessy looked at him wearily wondering where this conversation will be going...
"And maybe you can buy a bed as well... we can make our room...then you will stay here with me and we will conceive a baby and start a family..." he said winking at her suggestively.
Her mouth was agape with his statement, then she released a deep sigh. Maybe it's about time to clear his misconception about some things. "Jagger, let me get things straight for you. I did not buy all this stuff because I had romantic feelings for you, if you had that notion in your head, please erase that fantasy! okay? I bought all these because I pity your situation here, I did all these out of the goodness of my heart. Hope you understand now," she muttered with all the seriousness that she could muster.
Jagger smiled. "Chill! I'm just joking, Jess. But seriously—how can I make you love me? I'm ready to be the third man in your life, just add me in your heart and I will be more than happy to wait for you here in the jungle every single day. I don't mind sharing you with another guy...please consider my feelings..." he suggested shamelessly.
Coughing, she looked at Jagger with astonishment plastered on her face. "Huh? What makes you think that I'm looking for a third man in my life? Two men are already difficult for me to handle...how about three men? Jesus...that would be like jumping into a cliff!" she said in horror.
Jagger was sporting a sad look on his face.
"Have you eaten your dinner already?" she asked wanting to change the topic.
He shook his head.
"Okay, let's prepare for your dinner. I will help you," she noticed that among the stuff she brought for him he hadn't touched the canned foods yet. She took the two cans of luncheon meat and began opening the can with the knife.

"Let me do that for you," Jagger offered.
Jessy let him finished opening the cans for her. After he was done, she sliced the luncheon meat and placed the slices into the plate wanting to fry it with oil later. "We will cook rice in the ground," she said, she took the pot and filled it with two cups of rice, washed the rice with water then flew out of the window.
She landed in the ground, finding the place too dark, she grows fire in her palm and then made a bonfire nearby with the dry leaves and fallen branches of the trees that she found being gathered in the corner.
The surrounding area was now illuminated by the bonfire.
She placed the pot in the rocks she made before, then she gathered dry woods and leaves and lighted the wood to start cooking the rice.
The flames start devouring the leaves and dry branches of trees.
Jessy looked up at the treehouse and saw the rope ladder, he indeed, made a fantastic rope ladder! Then she saw him looking down at her from the window. "Come down here!" she said.
A few minutes later, he saw Jagger coming down using the rope ladder.
"What do you think of my rope ladder?" he said proudly.
Jessy looked at the rope ladder which consists of two objects only, wood and rope. "It's good," she commented.
Jagger was satisfied with her answer praising his workmanship, then he looked at the pot.
"Have you eaten rice before?" she asked.
Jagger shook his head. "Never had a chance, but now that you introduce rice to me I might like eating it and I might get addicted to it, I dunno how to plant rice here in the forest," he said while scratching his head.
"No need to plant rice here, I can easily buy one sack of rice for you so that you can cook it every day if you like," she suggested.
"Really? But that would be too much on your part...you already given me a lot of things so far," he said shyly.
"You don't have to complain, I only able to buy those things because I have money but if one day I no longer have money then I can no longer buy you stuff," she explained.
Jagger fell silent, her generosity was too overwhelming and simply out of this world.
