The Last Embrace Chapter 326

While on the ground.
Jessy gathered three medium-size rocks, then she put dried woods and leaves in the middle of the rock, she pulled out the matchbox from the bag, took one stick and ignited it producing fire, she burned the dried leaves and soon enough the flames were starting to devour the dried woods. The fire becomes steady and looking good for boiling water, she placed the pot above the rocks.
While waiting for the water to boil, she surveyed the surrounding area, there are lots of dried woods and leaves littering on the ground. Cooking foods will never be a problem for Jagger considering the abundance of woods in the forest.
"This is fun!" she said to herself. She'd never done this before, boiling water in the ground using rocks and woods, because Nana Aida was always been the one who boils water in the gas stove back in the mansion. It's a new experience for her and she finds it entertaining.
After a few minutes, the water was already boiling. She placed the thermal flask in the flat surface making sure it won't wobble down, she used dried leaves as a potholder to hold the handle because it was scalding hot to touch she might burn her fingers, she successfully poured the boiling water into the thermal flask without meeting an accident.
Done boiling water, she made sure the embers were already nonexistent before she leaves the ground because she doesn't want to start a fire in the middle of this beautiful forest.
Jessy returned to the treehouse. "Hooray! I'm done boiling water!" she announced her presence.
Jagger's eyes were glued to her movements.
She opened two instant noodles and poured hot water on it filling it to the brim and place the two pairs of fork and spoon above the lid to prevent them from opening.
Jagger was watching her actions with great interest. Her hands were so capable he would love to hold them one day. A while ago, he spied on her boiling water in the ground through the holes in the floor.
Ten minutes later, the noodles were done. "Hooray! The noodles are ready to eat!" she enthused. She picked up one of the instant noodles and placed it near his lap. "Come on Jagger, start eating it, while it's hot!" she devoured her meal and began slurping on the spicy soup noodles. "I love it!" she raves.
Jagger began eating his noodles and he agreed with Jessy, the spicy noodles taste delicious in his mouth. "Thank you, Jess!" he said wholeheartedly.

Jessy smiled. "You're welcome," she replied. "You can do it yourself while I'm not here. By the way, you can also start drinking coffee, try one sachet if you like, but if you don't like the taste of coffee then just ignore it..." she said while looking at the one dozen of coffee sachet inside the transparent pack, she began cutting them one by one and piled them neatly inside the shopping bag.
Jagger smiled. "I truly appreciated everything you have done for me, Jess."
"Don't mention it. Like, I said before, I will do it to anyone, and since I considered you as my friend you will have my back. I will help you the best way I can," Jessy uttered the words while sporting a serious face.
Thirty minutes later.
Jessy took a peek inside the water jug, it needs to be refilled again. She grabbed the jug and flew out of the window going to the stream to get clean water. She arrived on the stream, she put the jug down in the flat surface of the rock and surveyed her surrounding, everything around her looks peaceful and calm. The chirping of birds can be heard in the air as they were hopping from branches of the trees to another. The breeze here is simply soothing and relaxing, one can literally sit down in the trunks of the tree lining on the banks of the stream and just admire the beauty of the stream and the surrounding areas, it's pure nature paradise here!
She inhaled and exhaled fresh air into her lungs.
Such a perfect and awesome place!
But she can't stay here forever, her time was running out, she needs to head back to the clinic to resume blood transfusion, she grabs the jug and began filling it with water.
Done with her task in the stream, she hovered back into the treehouse and placed the jug near Jagger.
Please with everything, she's ready to go home.
Jessy looked at Jagger. "I'm done checking on you. You seem to be recovering well. It's your 3rd day of transformation, and you're getting stronger no longer looking weak compared to the first and second day. Anyways, I will visit you again tomorrow. There are lots of food around you, don't hold yourself from eating them if you feel hungry, after all, I bought them for you..."
Jagger smiled. "Thank you wife!" he said cheekily.
Jessy rolled her eyes. "In your dreams! Please stop fantasizing on us, Jagger, we will never be an item," she responded. "I will go now and take care of yourself," she said and began the teleportation process in her mind.

A moment later, she was already gone from the treehouse.
The smile on Jagger's lips lingered throughout the day.
~~~o0o~~~
Jessy was already back in her room inside the Facility. She quickly exited her room and hurriedly zoomed her way towards the clinic.
She entered the clinic.
"I'm back!" Jessy said upon seeing the recipient already lying on the other bed. She settled comfortably in the bed and roll up the sleeve of her polo shirt so that the doctor can easily insert the needle in her arm. She's ready for the blood transfusion.
A moment later, the doctor was swabbing alcohol on her left arm, he finally found the vein to draw the blood upon and inserted the needle on her skin. Done with the procedure, the doctor stood up and went to the recipient's side, the blood transfusion has started.
One hour later...
Jessy smiled brightly, she spotted someone special outside the clinic watching her through the glass window. "Oh my! It's Adam!" she murmured, she waved at him.
He signaled to her that he will go to her room and wait for her there.
She smiled and nodded her head.
One hour later.
After the doctor had taken the needle out from her arm, Jessy rushed outside going to her room, excited to see Adam again. They just saw each other this morning. But she missed him already!
She entered her room. She found him lying on her bed with closed eyes, she grinned and went to his side, she noticed that his chest was rising and falling steadily, he falls asleep in her room like a baby.
Well...
She will just allow him to continue his sleep as long as he wants.
She moved around her room quietly, careful not to wake him up. She sat down on the chair and folded her clothes and arranged them neatly inside the cabinet, she picked up some clean clothes and underwear and went inside the bathroom to take a quick shower.
By the time she exited the bathroom, Adam had already awakened.
"My boo! I'm sorry I fall asleep, you should have woke me up," he said and hugged her tightly. He inhaled the pleasant smell of her shampoo.
"We're going to the mansion to visit Nana Aida and Grandpa Waldo today," she reminded him.
Adam nods his head. "Yes, of course. That is also the reason why I'm here because I promised you that we will visit them today, so are you ready now? Let's go!" he said.
"Wait a second I will comb my hair first," she said.
"Let me do it for you," Adam took the comb away from her fingers and began combing her hair gently.
Jessy was beaming in front of the mirror, loving the way Adam was combing her hair just like old times.
A few minutes later.
Adam embraced Jessy and teleport themselves into the mansion inside his room. When they landed in the room the sun was starting to set in the horizon, darkness will cover the sky soon.
The couple made themselves invisible to the naked eye, they hovered down into the living room.
The old folks were nowhere to be seen, they checked the kitchen, no one was there. They exited the kitchen door leading to the back of the house, there, they saw what they were looking for...
Grandpa Waldo was watering the roses using the water hose while on his right side Nana Aida was watering the vegetable garden that Grandpa Waldo has cultivated.
The whole area was looking refreshingly green, lush leafy vegetables of different kinds were growing nicely in the garden. It's nice to look at! The sea of green was refreshing to the eyes.
The couple stayed in the garden for a few minutes admiring Grandpa Waldo's vegetable garden.
Jessy looked at her rose garden...wow!... they were blooming with flowers! A smile of satisfaction appeared in her eyes. She never regretted taking Grandpa Waldo away from the street and gave him a new life in the mansion. He and Nana Aida work as a team splendidly.
The couple returned to the room on the second floor.
"Satisfied on what you just saw down there, Jess? Grandpa Waldo's vegetable garden is incredible! He surely had a green thumb!" he commented.
Jessy grinned from ear to ear. "Yeah. I'm very satisfied! The vegetable garden and my rose garden looks amazing indeed!" she gushes.
She held Adam's hands with her own, they exited his room, she pulled him into the hallway towards her room. "Let's go to my room and reminisce of our past," she said sweetly and winked at him.
Adam grinned in anticipation. "I love that!"
He lifted Jessy effortlessly and carried her in his arms heading towards her room.
