After the blood transfusion, time for a two hours break. Jessy made a quick dash into the city to buy some stuff for Jagger. She ended her shopping holding two bags, she smiled with her purchases.
Done with her shopping, she went to the lady's restroom and entered a vacant cubicle and then from there she teleported directly into the forest.
The afternoon sun was shining brightly up in the sky. The weather was good.
She landed inside the treehouse.
She glanced at Jagger still sleeping on the floor with her jacket wrapped around him. She walked towards the earthen jug and inspected its contents, there still enough water but near to the bottom. She went back to the other end and sat down on the floor, watching the rise and fall of Jagger's chest.
With nothing to do, she emptied the contents of the shopping bags on the floor.
Fifteen minutes later, Jagger's eyes opened, he blinked twice, his vision landed on Jessy sitting on the floor silently watching him. "You're here," he acknowledged her presence. "Since when did you arrive?" he asked.
"A few minutes ago, I bought some things for you," she said.
Jagger's eyes landed on the stuff lying on the floor.
"I bought you a rope, you can make a rope ladder out of it so that it will be easy for you to go up and down from this treehouse. Then I also bought a machete, you can cut woods to use for cooking with this tool, this machete is more efficient compared to the knife. I also bought you a mattress, blanket, and pillow, it can warm your body during the coldness of the night. I added your stock of canned foods and two packs of sliced bread and more noodles," she grinned. "Then I also brought you some free size t-shirt and shorts...and some underwear...I just don't know if all these will fit you," she said without blushing, she was relying on the fact that Jagger and Adam have the same body built.

Jagger smiled a bit. "You're acting like you're my woman or my wife," he commented.
Jessy rolled her eyes. "I'm acting like your friend, please don't misunderstand my intention," she said calmly.
Jagger was continuously smiling, amused by the degree of gifts she showered him.
Jessy put a portable AM and FM radio on the floor. "So far, this is the cutest thing I bought for you! This can alleviate your boredom and it's a good companion for someone like you who lives alone in this vast forest," she said. She turns on the battery-operated radio and browses for an FM station that plays nice music, she found an FM station that currently plays country music. "Ah, this music is nice! I love country music, how about you?" she asked smiling at him, trying to engage him in a friendly conversation.
Jagger smirk. "I like sultry and romantic bedroom music," he joked wanting to tease her.
"Ah, okay, you had a weird type of music," she commented.
A bright smile broke in Jagger's face.
"Nice to see you smile, you should smile often," she said.
Jagger throws her an intense look. "Wow...really? Do I look irresistible to you every time I smile?" he asked wanting to tease her further.
Jessy ignored his innuendo. "And last but not the least, I bought this mini thermal flask, you can store hot water on it so that you won't have to keep boiling water every time you needed one, it's handy especially if you are craving for instant hot coffee with these 3 in 1 coffee sachet, just pour the contents in the mug and add some hot water then you are good to go!" she chattered merrily while showing him the one dozen pieces of coffee sachet. "This is my favorite coffee flavor, the coffee latte, I'm sure you will like it, but if you like the darker flavor I can always buy you one," she said.
Jagger was worrying about one thing... "Aren't you going broke with all the stuff you bought me with your money? Unless you stole all this stuff from the department store," he eyed her wearily.

Jessy smiled. "I'm not a thief! I have my own money given by my father, although I don't hold a regular job, my father made sure I won't starve," she said.
"Are you always generous like this to every stranger you meet?" he asked curiously.
"Yeah, sort of. I only help people who are deserving of my help and my generosity," she responded.
Jagger was frowning. "So...you mean to say I deserved your help and generosity? I just wonder what did I do to be a recipient of your kindness, while the last time I remembered I nearly killed you with my spear when you were impersonating the king," he said, he was confused as hell why she was acting so kind to him.
Jessy sighed. "I just want to help you..." her voice trailed off.
He eyed her warily. "I'm just wondering what is your motive with all these... why you shower me with your gifts and your kindness, I had a feeling that you are doing all these because you want something from me..."
Jessy bit her lower lip and looked at him directly in the eyes. "Gah! you think too much, why did it suddenly occur to you that I need something from you?"
Jagger's gaze was fixated on her face, he was studying her expression.
"Maybe you want to fatten me so that you can feed me to your alligator or piranha pet later?" he said jokingly after realizing that she was starting to get annoyed with his proving.
Jessy smiled. "Well...to be honest...I don't like the animals you mentioned...they are scary pet to have!"
"Good to know, I am safe then?" he asked her again.
Jessy's eyes sparkled. "You are safe with me."
She rose to her feet. "I will go down. I will make a fire and boil water in the pot so that you can have some hot water whenever you want to eat a bowl of spicy noodle soup," she said scooping some water from the earthen jug and poured it in the pot.
"You don't have to do that for me..." he tried to stop her.
She silenced him with her look that says she will do what she wants.
Jagger sighed and was shaking his head when Jessy flew out from the window carrying the shopping bag that contains the machete, matchbox, as will the thermal flask, on her left hand she was holding the pot filled with water. "Jessy is one of a kind woman!" he murmured to himself.
He scanned his eyes on the things that she bought for him so far, he had to agree with her, they are all useful to him. His transformation from being a vampire to a mere mortal was made easy by Jessy's frequent visit bringing to him all the foods and all the kinds of stuff that will make his mortal life bearable. He will be forever indebted to this woman who showed him kindness during the lowest time of his life. The infatuation and romantic feelings he felt towards her only grows stronger every day. He would be the luckiest man on earth if he was loved by her.
How to make Jessy fall in love with him?
There's one effective sure way! The more he thinks about it, the more he was excited to do it.
It's just a matter of time, Jessy will finally become his woman, sooner or later he will succeed in making her, his. For now, he will just enjoy the attention she had given him.

Countless twenty-something-year-olds around the world wish every day for a chance to go back in time to start practicing their passions sooner in life. Tabitha is one such woman. With all of her youth spent playing online games where crafting was as simple as gathering materials and clicking a "craft" button to put them together, she never gained any actual experience in making things. Every attempt to create something in the real world is met with disaster. Her heart yearns for being the master crafter of her virtual youth, but she's the type who burns water when trying to cook. While she might not have any idea how she got to this strange world, she does know that she's not going to waste her chance and is going to make the most out of this new opportunity to craft everything! An "Omnicrafter" was what they called people in the MMORPGs she played who maxed out every single crafting class, and that is exactly what Tabitha plans on doing with her new life! The crafting side of this series is heavily inspired by games like the Atelier series and the critically-acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV (which has a free trial, you know!)*. If there's a problem, it can be solved by crafting. Also, in case the title and synopsis didn't make it obvious enough, this series is going to focus on crafting all the things. Wooden spears and protective cuirasses? You got it! Healing tonics and farming equipment? Sure! Elaborate cupcakes and customizable fantasy golems? Darn straight! Weapons with a broken amount of different buffs applied to them due to the crafting process and materials used? You know it! The most amazing fishing rod to ever exist? Well, obviously. Fishing is the true endgame only after crafting, after all! So, if you like alchemy, blacksmithing, carpentry, cooking, leatherworking, tailoring, engineering, rune forging, magical enchanting, or basically any other type of crafting found in RPGs, come check the story out! An omnicrafter doesn't just focus on one specific type of crafting. A true omnicrafter is the best at all types of crafting! *This is a meme, I'm not sponsored by FFXIV, please don't hate me. Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
