One hour later.

Gavin was nearly done, only 20 fans left...when all of a sudden...the earthquake returns....but this time it did not stop...it run for a few seconds...Gavin had to hold the table because it's moving and everything is shaking...

BOOM!

Something explodes somewhere!

The people went in panic mode, shouting, screaming and yelling. Some scrambled and run towards the escalator and some just found a place to hide. Caden immediately hides under the table.

Gavin stays calm and looked up...

Holy Christ! The floor on the fourth level cracked up...then he also saw a crack on the floor where he was sitting.

This is not good!

He can smell tragedy about to happen...

Thankfully the earthquake stops...the people start fleeing from the mall...everyone was looking for an exit...commotions were everywhere.

"Caden! Get out of the table right now! Go to the nearest exit and leave this building! Go now!" Gavin shouted. He wants his friend to be outside 'coz it looks like the ceiling would surely give away if the earthquake will return or if there is an aftershock.

Caden scrambled out of the table and run for his dearest life screaming like a banshee...

Gavin wastes no time and went inside the perfume store only to find the employees still inside the store huddling together in the corner.

"Guys, I think you should go out now and exit the mall because there is a crack in the ceiling and the floor, the floor we were standing upon might split any second. Go out now!" he barks his command.

The employees fled the store in a hurry.

Gavin remained inside the store and transformed himself into his invisible form. He exited the perfume store and went to the stores nearby to check for people...he was shocked to see that there were still people inside the stores!

Dammit, why they did not flee right away!?

He can't show himself in front of them...but he has to act quickly or else the floor and the ceiling will finally crumble killing everyone that is trapped in between the ceiling and the floor.

He willed his power and freeze everything within fifty meters distance from where he stood, then he hovered above the fourth floor and freeze everything within the fifty -meter radius...then he hovered down and did the same to the second floor. Now that the three levels were finally frozen...

He starts moving around at lightning speed.

He found out that the majority of the stores were already deserted, the inside of the mall looks like an abandoned area.

He started teleporting the people that had been frozen on the fourth floor and brought them into the ground floor far away from the dangerous area...he placed them near the exit so that they can escape the mall right away.

He returns to the fourth floor and teleported another set of people that he has taken from another store. He repeated the same process...until all the people on the fourth floor were finally relocated.

Done with the fourth floor, he did the same to the third floor...teleporting people into the ground floor...after inspecting that there are no more frozen people on the third floor, he went down to the second floor. He repeated the same process to the frozen people there, he had done six rounds of relocating the people from the second floor into the ground floor.

A few minutes later.

He made final rounds on each floor and checked all the insides of the stores for any people that he failed to spot earlier, his double-checking was completed.

After making sure that all floors are cleared of people.

Gavin went back to the ground floor and unfreeze the frozen people there, about one hundred of them, as soon they regained their consciousness and saw the exit they scrambled out of the building, yelling, shouting and crying in fear and panic.

Now that he can no longer see anyone inside...

Time to check where that explosion happened earlier?

Which part of the mall?

He began roaming around.

He found the destroyed area in the farthest part of the 2nd floor where a bank... bookstore and pharmacy was located.

Damn!

There was debris scattered everywhere...

And he saw people too...with blood everywhere..oh no!

He comes too late!

He first tends to the people that were not fully buried by the rubble..some of them are wounded with blood oozing from their heads, arms, knees legs and hands....the majority of them were still conscious but groaning in pain.

He froze them instantly and with lightning speed gathered them in one corner...about thirty wounded people. Then he teleported them all into the ground floor near the exit area.

Then he unfreezes them.

The moment they regained their consciousness, some of the wounded...crawled out of the exit and shouted for help.

Soon...the rescue teams were rushing into the door and start loading the wounded in the standby ambulance.

Gavin was already upstairs, lifting the rubble with the power of his hands looking for more casualties.

After the debris was cleared and deposited in the corner...he saw three men and two women in the floor, their bodies were covered with blood...he heard one of them groaning in pain and he froze them immediately...it doesn't matter if they are dead or alive, he just want to take them away from this place. He teleported the wounded into the ground floor, then unfreeze them.

Gavin hovered above the fourth floor and made a quick inspection on the floors that he had frozen, he had to unfreeze them now because if the rescue team will begin clearing this area the floor might give away and another victim will suffer...the floor should crumble right now and debris fell when no one is around.

Gavin spreads his hand and unfreezes the floors, he hovered above near the ceiling of the fifth floor...waiting for the floors beneath him to crumble.

Five minutes later.

Nothing happens.

Looks like he was wrong with his assumption, it's not gonna fall after all.

Just when he was about to exit the mall to find Caden outside...he heard a loud BAAM...and more BAAM as the fourth floor crumbles into the third floor and falls into the second floor sending debris flying everywhere. The gaping hole was the size of an Olympic swimming pool.

Finally, it falls.

Good thing no one is under the rubble...or else everyone dies if trapped underneath when the debris starts falling from the higher floor down into the second floor.

Whew!

Gavin sighed, the damaged to the building was enormous!
