Jessy peered at the glass window that was facing the already open gate. The vehicle entered the driveway and the gate was being closed behind it. A pregnant woman exited the car.

Dang! It's Alex's wife!

Lyra was banging on the door of Alex's bedroom to alert them.

The pregnant wife was approaching the stairway and starts climbing the stairs...

Jessy took action to remedy the situation...she immediately waved her hand at the pregnant woman freezing her in the process then she touched the woman's arms making the frozen woman invisible as well. She lifted the woman and brought her in one of the rooms on the second-floor passing through the wall. She deposited the woman's frozen body into the bed.

Then she went back to Alex's room, the lovers were currently donning back their clothes to their body.

"This is goodbye then?" Lilian asked him sadly.

"Yes, I'm sorry that I broke my promise to you...In another lifetime I will surely marry you," he said while his eyes welled up.

They hugged each other tightly before parting.

"I love you so much, babe," Lilian voiced trembled.

"I love you too, babe, so sad that we're never meant to be," he was on the verge of crying.

"But we can still be together...I don't care if I will become your mistress...we will carry on with our relationship. You can divorce your wife and marry me later. Please come with me, Alex!" Lilian coaxed him.

Hesitation clouded his eyes for a few moments. But when he locked eyes with Lilian, he knew that he will never be able to live in peace if he will let her go. Hastily, he took his bag from the cabinet and began putting some clothes on it.

It's clear now that none of them want to be apart from each other...

Jessy looked at the couple with a grim expression on her eyes...although she felt sad with the heartbreaking ending of the couples relationship...she can't tolerate them. Alex is already married and his wife is pregnant. Dang! Looks like they were going to elope!

While outside the bedroom.

Lyra stared at the stairs...she was sure she saw the pregnant woman climbing the stair earlier...where does the woman has gone to? Why she suddenly disappeared?

When the door opened, both Alex and Lilian exited the room in fleeing mode.

Lyra turns around and her eyes widened upon seeing Alex holding bag in his right hand while holding hands with her sister with his other hand. She already knew what it means. "Huh? What is the meaning of this—?" she asked bewildered by Alex and her sister's actions.

"Lyra, you can go back home now, 'tell Mom and Dad that I'll be gone for a few days. Don't worry I will surely return to our house. I and Alex needs to settle things between us, we need to be away for a few days to think things over. Please..." she pleaded for her sister's understanding during these difficult times.

Lyra gasped in shock.

"But Sister...this is wrong! Alex is already married, are you going to elope with a married man? How about his pregnant wife? What will happen to her?" she asked trying to inflict a guilty conscience in her sister's mind.

But Lilian and Alex ignored her and continue to go down the stairs, that's when she realized that her sister already made up her mind and she was determined to elope with Alex. She watched the lovers touched the ground floor heading outside the house. She followed them, they went to the garage area and hurriedly get inside Alex's car.

Lyra stared at the car helplessly...

Jessy froze the car instantly including the couple inside. She already froze Alex's wife upstairs...then she also freezes Lyra and the approaching housemaid as well.

Now what to do next?

What had she done?

Did she just intervene with the humans' affair?

It's none of her business at all.

She shouldn't have...

No problem, she can always undo everything.

Jessy went back upstairs and took the frozen pregnant woman out of the room and put her back on the very same spot where she had picked her up, then she unfreezes her.

The pregnant woman continue ascending the stair and reached the second floor, she went to the bedroom to find her husband, he was not in the room. She exited the bedroom and went back downstairs...

Jessy went back to the garage and unfreeze the housemaid and Lyra, then she unfreezes the car and its occupants as well.

"Amy...where are you!?"

They all looked at each other when they heard the pregnant woman calling for Amy the housemaid.

Amy went back to the house quickly.

While Alex and Lilian were staring at each other inside the car.

Alex stared lovingly at his beloved. "I'm sorry, babe. I can no longer do this..." he planted a gentle kiss on her forehead and exited the vehicle. "Please... go home now with your sister."

He left the garage area and went inside the house to bring his wife into their room so that Lilian and her sister can go out of the house undetected.

Lilian was left in the car sobbing hard. Alex left her— to go to his wife. Does that mean that he doesn't love her anymore?

Lyra opened the door of the car and grabbed her sister's hand. "Let's go now, Sis! Before Alex's wife can see us!" she said with urgency in her voice.

Lilian exited the car and they sauntered towards the iron gate where Amy the housemaid was already waiting, opening the gate for them.

A few moments later.

Lyra and Lilian were already walking away from the house.

Jessy followed them from behind.

Whew! What a day!

What a sad ending for such a beautiful love story.

Sigh.

Poor Lilian!

Why all these were happening? Who is at fault here?

If only Lilian was not abducted by the savage vampire none of these things will happen...but then that woman who got obsessed with Alex can also be blamed, she tempted Alex during his lonely days and weakest moments...Alex should have stopped on the first time he had sex with the woman...but he continues engaging in sexual activity with the woman 'coz maybe he was thinking that his missing girlfriend will never return. How convenient...well...Alex is a man after all and when it comes to sex men are generally weak to resist temptation especially when a woman offers free sex...because men are a sexual being...and always will be. On the other hand...Alex thinks that Lilian is already gone for good.

Things happened already nothing can be done about it.

Jessy released a deep sigh.

Now, she'd better go back to the clinic and resumed her duty... and she did.
