Jessy was on her second blood transfusion for the day, she planned to visit Lilian in her home during her two hours break time and also check how Virgie is doing along with her children. She won't be staying long outside, she just wants to check the conditions of the two human beings she sent home first.

Two hours later.

Done with her duties and responsibilities in the clinic, she went to her room and donned her black ensemble. It's now time to check on the girls.

She transformed herself into her invisible form and teleported into Lilian's house. Virgie is the last on her list.

She landed outside the house when she entered, she found the mother and the grandparents in the living room discussing Lilian's weird behavior.

"Lilian...has zero memory of her disappearance. No matter how many times we pressed and interrogate her she can't remember what happened to her in the last two years. I am afraid that she will only feel depressed if we keep asking her about the things that she had no recollection with. From now on we will just stop asking her question and just pretend that everything is alright with her," Lilian's mother explained to her in-laws.

"But Lilian should go to the hospital for a physical check-up, just to make sure she is healthy and there's nothing to worry about her health. We don't know the kind of life she is living in the past two years, after the physical check-up and the doctor would say that she is healthy, then, we can finally rest our mind at ease," grandfather suggested.

"I agree..." the grandmother said.

Lilian's mother sighed. "That is the problem, my daughter doesn't want to see a doctor, she already refused my offer to go to the doctor's clinic tomorrow for a check-up. She insisted that she knows her body well and she is perfectly healthy and there is nothing to worry about her," she said sadly.

They all released a deep sigh.

Jessy left the living room and went upstairs to check on Lilian.

She found the sisters arguing about something inside their bedroom.

"No, you can't go to Alex's house!" Lyra insisted.

Lilian was feeling perplexed. "And tell me why? What is the reason? He is my boyfriend! I have all the right to see him and demand why he changed his number?"

Lyra has been avoiding to talk about Alex, but now it seemed she can no longer hide the painful truth from her sister. "I have something to tell you about Alex, I'm sorry, Sis. Your beloved boyfriend already met somebody new during the time you disappeared two years ago. He just recently got married to the woman three months ago. That is why I'm preventing you to go there in his house because I am afraid you will only get hurt if you see them together," she explained.

"W-what!?" Lilian's mouth fell agape. Her face contorted in pain. "You must be joking—right?" she said in a low voice.

Lyra shook her head. "No, Sis! I'm telling the truth, how I wish I can hide the painful truth from you but you keep insisting to see Alex. Your boyfriend is no longer a single guy he is already a married man. The relationship you both nurtured a long time ago had crumbled when you disappeared without a trace. I suggest that...you start forgetting him from now on. You have to move on, Sis, I will help you," Lyra said.

Fresh tears ran down on Lilian's cheeks. She felt the weight of the world was crashing down on her shoulder. Why her beloved boyfriend was not able to wait for her? Does his love for her is too shallow? They promised to love only each other in this lifetime. Why did he jump ship and found another woman to marry? Why did he betray her trust and love for him? This is devastating! The painful news broke her heart into tiny million pieces and she doesn't know how to pick up each piece and make her heart whole again.

How can she move on from the sweet memories of their love?

She wants to see him!

Even if he is already married, she still wants to see him! She loved him so much, she can't imagine living her life without him.

Lilian went to her closet and changed into her casual clothes.

Lyra watched her sister in frustration. Aargh! Her sister is very stubborn! She stood up. "Where are you going, Sis?" she asked even though she already knows where.

"I'm going to Alex's house. I will demand an explanation from him!" Lilian said and picked up her shoulder bag and dumped her mobile phone inside.

"Okay, I will go with you," Lyra said. She was afraid that her sister might go ballistic if she will see Alex with his wife. She has to be there for her sister to lend her moral support and to prevent any unpleasant situation that may arise when the two women will come face to face.

The girls went down the stairs passing the living room.

"Mom, I will go out for a while," Lilian said.

The mother looked at her daughter worriedly.

"Don't worry, Mom, I will accompany my sister outside. We will be home shortly," Lyra assured her mother.

"Okay. You girls take care of yourselves. Call us, if something comes up," she said to her youngest daughter.

Lyra nodded her head and they went outside the house... they walked towards the entrance of the subdivision and flagged a taxi cab heading to Alex's house, up in the air Jessy hovered... trailing the taxi cab from behind.

She can sympathize with Lilian's heartache, she was gone for two years only to come back and discovered that her beloved boyfriend already had another woman and worst of all, got married to that woman.

Now she understood how Adam feels when she married Zain.

The travel towards Alex's house took almost one hour, the taxi cab was currently entering a subdivision, this time the houses in this residential area are much bigger compared to the Pine Wood Subdivision. This looks like a millionaires residential home. The grandiose houses with different designs that range from the Mediterranean, Colonial, Victorian, Contemporary and Modern are both pleasant to the eyes, all the houses they passed by have an outdoor swimming pool in their backyard.

A few minutes later.

The taxi cab parked in front of a sleek modern beautiful house with a Grecian shaped outdoor swimming pool that can be seen through the see-through iron gate.

The girls paid the driver their fare and exited the vehicle. Lilian pressed the doorbell button. The main door of the house opened.

The housemaid approached the iron gate. "Yes Ma'am?" then her eyes grew bigger and she gasped when she realized who the woman is, it's Sir Alex's girlfriend who was gone missing two years ago! "Ma'am Lilian? It's you?"

Lilian smiled at the housemaid. "Yes, it's me, Amy. Is Alex inside?"

"Y-yes," the housemaid nodded her head.

"Can you please tell him that I'm here, I just want to talk to him for a few minutes. I promised I won't stay long. Please...?" she pleaded.

Amy hesitated for a few minutes... but she eventually opened the gate wide for the visitor to enter.

"Thank you, Amy, where is Alex?" Lilian asked.

Amy brought the visitors into the living room. "He is in his room..."

"Can I talk to him, Amy? Just for a few minutes?" Lilian begged.
